Are all the sounds coming from a single sequence, so all your cutoff and resonance tweaking are affecting all the voices equally, or can the tweaks be limited to a single voice?
Yes, it’s a single sequence but S-1 can record motion per step/note also.

I’m pretty new to Dawless jamming. When I record into Logic, my wavelength is tiny. Barely conceivable unless I zoom right in. How do I get it recording at a nice level like I can see your doing here.
Also, each of my usb channels of my mx1 record onto 2 identical tracks. I have 3 devices recording onto 6 tracks.
It has to do with your input gain (from your sound card). Check your sound card manual or ask the Logic X user group in facebook, maybe you will find a solution there. Cheers

@@RoaringTitties did you set type? After you turn it on you should switch to keyboard mode to add some notes. Also did you check the clock (internal, external etc) ?
@@StefanTorto clock is set to midi... Set type is set... I turn it on no sounds come on
@@RoaringTitties If clock is in MIDI, it waits for a midi message from external device to start playing. So if you use it alone you have to turn it to INTERNAL
Sounds much better than Behringer's SH101 knock off.

usually yes, but you can use the S-1 as sound card via the usb. Cheers

Directly to a control keyboard that has no sounds?
*Which cables do I need? And what is the friend why?
- I have: launchkey 25 mk Novation control keyboard
and want to connect it for example:
to CIRCUIT TRACKS.
Or - for the Roland device / Roland Aira S-1
and use their sounds
Midi out to midi in is the way to go , if Lauchkey doesn’t have midi out you need to find a usb/midi interface (not very familiar with that setup). Good luck

But yes, you can plug a MIDI keyboard into the S-1. It has a 3.5mm TRS Type A "MIDI IN" socket.
