Lee, I was finally able to watch one of the episodes of you in Garden Rescue. I loved the Scandinavian design. So sleek but inviting. Very different from my own wonky curves garden lol. So pleased to see you doing so well.

How old should the plant be before pruning?? I have just planted a wee baby approx 7 ft it's settled beautifully and don't expect her to flower for years but should I prune or not?? Thank you recently found your channel and full of great tips and hints, I'm not a natural gardener so your advise is great plus I adore your enthusiasm.

I have moved (December) into a house that has a VERY overgrown Wisteria. I didn't even know what all these long, long twigs were. Anyway the base hasn't got a main trunk per say, rather a large-ish one then dozens of small ones next to it. Worst thing is the pergola is over the fish pond. There is 'A' fish in as I've seen it. I'd hacked a bit at the runners, which luckily was at the right time, so there seems to be about 6 flowers. The leaves drop everywhere (poor fish), so finally my point 🤔🤔 should I hack away all the smaller ground 'trunks' and leave the one that looks like the 'main'? It's right next to the fence too, so, I had to do battle with it over-growing onto the pavement too!!!!! Help, Gill of Wisteria Lane.....( Not really)
