My Astra wouldn't start from cold until the fuel pump had stopped priming, cleaned the map sensor which was blocked like this one and it started straight away from cold 😂
Thanks for up loading the video. I got Vauxhall mokka cdti 2015. As you showed, exactly I cleaned the MAP sensor with sensor cleaning spray. Put the sensor back connected the wire as it was now the car is not getting start!! Any idea???😢😢😢
@Sergiu Furdui yes i did not know that it stops the normal guy to fix Hes own car. i gave working on lorry's many years ago .i just cannot believe how bad cars have got . i wish i did not give it up i just don't have the know how any more :( or the tools to check the car
Bullsh.t ... Under no circumstances you should touch the glass element in that sensor. I done the same and it cost me a new one . Just clean it with spray cleaner which is design to do that .
No unfortunately. On 2.0cdti Map sensor is on little bit complicated place. Check in UA-cam, for sure someone made a video with that engine. Good luck :)
Does anyone else engine have the symptom that there is no torque under 1800 rpm but then the turbo kicks in? It's driving me crazy when shifting from first to second on low rpm and trying to gain speed but nothing happens even full throttle under 1800 rpm.
Brilliant .... Done it this morning on the wife's insignia . It's running so much better thank you 👍👍👍
nice one, happy to help :)
@@stayfix27 thanks also done this on my 2006 opel combo van . Cleaning this and the MAF sensor is highly recommended 👍👍
What were the symptoms when dirty ?

@@mateuszwidulinski3398 Was the engine making louder noise than usual in low revs ? Especially when hotter outside than 18 degreese ?
Works a treat felt like it was misfiring but cleaned this and it’s sorted
Happy to hear that. Well done
All vauxhall/opel cars needs doing this time to time. Especially when you drive a lot around the town and not on motorways.
correct :)
Hi Stayfix, can you please also show the position of the thermostat on Insignia 1.6 Diesel.. thanks

Insignia 2018 1.6 turbodiesel 136bhp:
do you have to disconnect the battery before CLEANING THE MAP SENSOR?
Не обязательно, достаточно отсоединить разъём от датчика!
What did you spray on the map sensor to clean it
People recommend the brake spray, it cleans quickly and dries quickly.
What did you clean with?
just use any degreaser will work :)
Brakecleaner?
Mine gets dirty seriously quick do you know why?
One of main reasons is because you running the car on short trips so that affect more quickly getting clogged
Can we clean map sensor with maf sensor cleaner
Same as the 2.0ltr?
No unfortunately. On 2.0cdti Map sensor is on little bit complicated place. Check in UA-cam, for sure someone made a video with that engine. Good luck :)
What did you use to clean the map sensor
airflow map sensor is very delicate, must be cleaned with brake spray, without touching.

First you can start with easy thinks like to clean EGR and Throttle body :) good luck
Yeah sounds like your throttle body. Cleaned mine out today and it picks up like a train.
Diesels don't have throttle body's..
Just move over to the next video about this car. They got it all covered on YT: ua-cam.com/video/5vU2Jc2f0Ro/v-deo.html
and now you have the see the dealer code in the dash
you are wrong!
What does this do?
The MAP sensor measures the pressure in the intake manifold for use in the vehicle's engine control unit (ECU).
No to jak byś miał zapchane jelita i tylko próbnik coś stamtąd wyciągnął sobie przeczyścił. A całe gowno zostało.

@@nudelnudlockow1948nie, podrostu wiem jak to działa.
Are you cleaning the intake manifold? If you have a dirty EGR valve, it will be a problem with the DPF filter.
It's not necessary to clean manifold. If you interested I can make 1 video cleaning EGR ?
@@stayfix27yes that would be good
@@stayfix27 please make one :)
