Greetings from the U.K Meike. I just had to comment that YOU ABSOLUTELY BLEW MY MIND with this formation. My oh my excellent explanations too. I can’t believe I hadn’t subscribed to your channel yet as I’ve been interested in your ideas for quite a while now. Thank you very much indeed for sharing #!
When people use the Australia style, I use a drop shot and it brings my opponent to the opposite side of the server. Great job on the video Coach. Thank you for sharing this video.
I used it effectively against someone who is really good at chip and charge the ball at the side T and low. The Australian makes it harder to chip the ball down the line perfectly. The only problem is that my net partner then usually proceed to dump the easy ball into the net.
This is interesting. I love to go 'I', but always thought Australian was a weaker version so I never tried it. Also, pros never do it, but I can see some possibilities that 'I' doesn't offer. The differences are subtle, but meaningful. And it's yet another look for the returning to have to think about.
what if your dubs partner is a baseliner, rarely volleys or poaches and allows my serve to get broken everytime then blames me for not holding serve???

Thank you so much for your support! And the very kind words!
Trying this on Saturday. Never heard of this, but makes a lot of sense. That cross court poach is going to be a game changer!
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks for giving the basics. My buddy occasionally likes to do Aussie, and this helps with a good default play.
It's a great option to have for sure

Never heard of the Australian but it gives me insights on doubles' strategy, very useful!
Paldies!
My task for the next doubles session 😀
Let me know how it goes :-)

what do you recommend when knees are too old and stiff to bend down?
Australian and stand over a bit more so you don't have to crouch at all
Love it, love it. Will destroy my opponents with this (and other) tips 😂!

Wish mt doubles partner would at leart STAND AT THE NET not back at the baseline with me when I'm serving
Suggest trying this, maybe that will make it easier
