Hi Dad ... the temple which they showed in the video is not Kanyakumari.. it is mahabalipuram which is adjustent to chennai city. Kanyakumari is the southern most tip of Tamilnadu..

I love Chennai... very good infrastructure and excellent City and full city under CCTV cameras and very beautiful city Chennai
Major Automotive manufacturers Hyundai, BMW, Yamaha, Royal Enfield, Renault/Nissan, Daimler commercial Trucks, Ashok leyland commercial trucks are present in Chennai. Ford had their factory but now closed, Tata Motors might own it. All leading international Auto Ancillary units are based in chennai. Hence its called as Detroit of South asia and not Asia.

I am a born chennaiite but seldom like chennai because there are no platforms to walk for pedestrians, all public spaces are smelly and full of encroachments. Three natural rivers have become sewage canals, no proper sewage system for extended areas and government is talking singara chennai 2.0. where is singaram in this overcrowded city..

You love the rivers and the water. Walk around a half a mile from the cooum river. Its raw sewage water and stinks half a mile. Breeding ground for mosquitoes. The city is not as clean as you portray and every corner in the city or residential area is a dumping ground for waste and garbage. Hot and Humid not the greatest place to live. Of course it is a big automtive hub of India.
First one is statue of Mahatma Gandhi ji and the second one is kamarajar....he was chief minister of tamilnadu from 1954 to 1963....
