Mel Robbins, you have been a great inspiration to me. I'm just a 45 year old alcoholic, divorced a narcissistic b, and seperatated from my lovely 2nd wife, a carpenter with alot of tattoos who moved to a small town in Utah. Somewhere along the way i lost myself and i recently took up painting and am working on my relationships with my 7 sons. Sounds so stupid but fuck it. I like myself again. Thanks.
Thank you very much, Mel. Iam trying to take one little step by step in my life. Its not easy iam trying to remove my old thinking that iam too old for this or my time is over. I believe it comes from my family and its very hard to remove that mindset, but iam trying everyday. I worry a bit about my future, but i try to remind myself how far i have already come.
I was always raised to think "Someday. Someday we'll be happy, someday we can do that... Someday..." God, why do I have to keep waiting to be happy or live? Loving this so much. Got my journal out and am ready to roll.
