Lee is lovely. Ran a cancer fund for children’s hospital and he did so much for it. Nothing too much for him always made himself available. Beautiful family just a really genuine nice guy ❤
He's a lovely guy too, so funny and entertaining. Had the pleasure of seeing him do a live speaking gig and Q&A in Bangkok and enjoyed a few beers with him afterward!
My Dad managed tiny non-league Merton in the mid 80s. Once they got to play Torquay United who fielded a teenage Lee Sharpe. It was obvious he was going places.
Thanks for sharing this Always great to hear about Lee Sharpe especially those that seen him play before he was spotted by United, Are Merton still going strong?
@@SuperstarSpeakers They still exist playing in the North Devon League (there is a different Merton in London area). English grassroots football simply has no peer globally.

My favourite player as a child, I was always number 5 in my football team because of him.
Lee is a lovely guy. You watch him talk and you instantly know this guy could never do anybody any wrong.
Great episode. Interesting to listen to the life of Lee Sharpe

Highbury 1990 , Sharpey was absolutely amazing, 6 2 ( Hatrick)
Big fan of this man, Fergusson let him down, then bad luck with cruciate… he knows his story… respect Lee :)
Brilliant footballer. Mint bloke.
Sharpy, the man, the myth, THE LEGEND.
A very much underrated player lee a nice guy of the pitch as well
That was great.
They don't make them like Sharpey anymore ...proper legend 🙂

Very disappointed the way lees Utd career ended. Class 92 took over.
And after Leeds he was just a led ballon . Sad .
