Cathy in a interview said when Alex found out about lee in hospital " he went drip white with worry and was really upset" And went raving mad when the papers suggested it was drug related and stopped the papers printing stories. 33 isn't particularly young for retirement. People say Best retired extremely young, after having 11 seasons at Utd. Sharpey is a mildly tragic figure of that era, closest thing Utd had to a 'Spice boy'. A wild, if fleeting talent, squandered by drinking culture (and injuries).
