this is AWESOME Tiago!!! this Type of honest feedback is really important for the Brand and working with them or not, I do feel different about the comfort. I mean I do not feel the cuff to tall for me. ( but like you said, I'm a bigger size) but the material of the tongue at first isn't the most comfortable for me. but I had people at the shop saying they love it... one thing is for sure. your feedback is very important and being communicated to the brand

No aluminum mounting blocks in the boot is a deal breaker. Even $100 oxelos have that now
That goes to show skate reviews are to be taken with a grain of salt and you should try for yourself, even if that means buying and returning them.
This review helped me alot. I ordered these after returning the Rollerblade Cruisers, which cut into my calf terribly. You gave me the perfect heads up regarding the boot. Thanks!

Hello Tiago, the skate looks cool. About a not moving cuff, although the screw is already loose: I had/partially have the same issue with my powerslide swell black road. Finally I unmounted the cuff completely for finding out the reason. There was some shoe type glue around the cylinder with the thread and the hole in the outer polyurethane "leather" hadn't been positioned correctly. So the 2 holes of the cuff experienced some "leather"/glue friction on the cylinder resulting in a non moving cuff. I removed/scratched that off. Finally I didn't tighten the screws completely but secured them with a drop of blue screwlock.
Glad you finally made this, T. I’ve really been wondering about these skates. And I feel also neutral/conflicted on the Seba/Micro issue. I don’t know enough to make a real judgement call. Anyway, Ill be very interested to see how they hold up in the long term.

You put these past FRX, FR1 & bumped them up to FR3 level pretty quick initially...
It was an honest review, which I thought was great. It wouldn't put me off of this brand, cause feel and preference can be different by individual. But, after the complete trial, does the opinion hold that they are comparable to FR3? OR, Just that they looked very similar?
I wonder so much, cause I was set on FR3's. But, if these Micro's are flawed similar to FR3, I don't think I would pay more to get a similar product. But also, I may look for something altogether now lol! Just a bit confused...
Hey Tiago, I noticed at every video you have Japanese (Katakana) for your name. It’s a bit off though, in English you have “Tiago Inline Skater” but in the Japanese it says “Tiago Rollerblade”. Here’s an edited version that says Tiago Inline Skater チアゴ の インラインスケーター

The previous one I put was more like “Inline Skater the Tiago”, this one is now “Tiago the Inline Skater”. I changed the name too since I’ve heard how it’s normally pronounced. The original was “chi - a - go” but now it’s “Te - i - a - go” which sounds more accurate to your name.
Also the ティアゴ part has a small character (ィ < イ) So make sure not to confuse that for a normal character, it's attached to the テ since the "ti" sound doesn't exist in their language (They have "chi") but using ティ makes up for that.
Hopefully you see this reply, it's more correct than my initial message.

You talked about what you didn't like about the skate. Do you think you would make any adjustments to these skates in the future. Or if you would, what would you do?
Hum, adjustments as a customer or if I was part of the development team?
As a customer, maybe I would try to see if I can mount a different cuff, and find a way to make the liner move less inside the boot; the rest of the boot is actually really great! specially for the price!
If I was part of the development team, I would try to make these skates more anatomical for smaller sizes: lower the cuff height mainly, and then, depending on the budget, add some little things like some little dots of gel in the heel to make sure le liner doesn't move much up and down when skating. the rest is all good! :)
You and everyone else keep saying "specially for the price" but, strangely enough, I can't seem to be able to find Micro skates for sale or their price anywhere!
Not that I could or would buy them in the foreseeable future; I'm not so neutral based on what I have read about the issue, and I'm still quite happy with my Oxelos MF500 as a basic but upgradeable boot... But living in a constant budget one must keep their options open 😅

@@Mark-xw5yt Absolutely. The stock wheels and bearings are not great, but for less than 90€ you have quality skates.
I've had them for more than a year, using them every other day, and I couldn't be happier.
firstly, I won't worry about whats the situation between seba and micro, as long as they keep producing and making skating grow. As for the skates, I have the mt plus too and I have had some seba frx in the past. Yes the cuff is a bit taller and yes the liner moves quite a lot in the boot. but I don't find it uncomfortable or painful at all, in contrast, I find the boot to be extremely comfortable in my urban skating. Obviously, this might different when used for freestyle skating, as you do. So in my experience, for my use, the boot is very comfy and since the liner is not as fat as in seba, it was like that since day one of skating with them. And since the cuff is tall and gives some extra ancle support I think is very beginner friendly. Thanks for the honest reviews and keep up the work!!
"I won't worry about whats the situation between seba and micro" It's a tiny market. Micro could easily kill Seba if they produce clones with the help of an insider and sell them at a loss. It's not like Silicon Valley: all the money Seba puts into suing Micro (presumably the hired engineer took trade secrets along with) is money that can't be spent on product development and endorsements. So unless the lawyers all want to buy skates...

The design of the skate is really nice. You should try these skate with a different liner, maybe this could remove the pain from the top of the boot

I feel the cuff is of these skates (micro MT3/plus ) feel too high. To pinchy at the middle-up-front heel.
Not suitable for sliding or riding on downhill with too many slides /brakes like magic or pararel

Regardless of the politics, MICRO are just another company manufacturing skates, which can only be a good thing, right? It keeps things competitive which is good for consumers. People like what they like; I like SEBA because I've had a set for over a decade and they still roll well. MICRO will need to convince people to come away from their preferred brand and try their skates. They can do this by producing quality skates at competitive prices. For me, quality is more important than a name.
I'm all for competition but without innovation it will only drive quality down for lower prices. If they are audacious enough to use the same oversized cuff for all their boot sizes and gimping basic frame design who knows what else they are doing to cut costs here. If you're looking for a cheap and seemingly competent boot, you might have it here (Powerslide's Zoom can /w Trinity can be bought for only $10 more new), but it's already painfully obvious they are not in it for the quality.
@@artv4692 I can’t comment on their skates but when my children were younger I bought them Micro Scooters and I genuinely found them to be of higher quality than their competitors; in fact, I still have one kicking around in my garden from over 10 years ago. As I said, they will need to attract skaters with quality and value; if their skates turn out simply to be cheaper knock-offs of the established brands, they will not win the confidence of any serious skater.
@Derek Simmons I think it’s important for established brands to be aware of their competitors, but I also think it’s more important that they continue to produce the quality products that made them successful in the first place. I personally would not part with my hard-earned cash without first trawling through product reviews, and I imagine most serious skaters are the same. Poor quality products will be revealed as such. If Micro decide to cut quality I imagine this will become a trait of their brand, and serious skaters will avoid.
I don’t know the politics around the whole Micro/Seba/FR situation but here’s how I’d answer your question: I would consider my budget - I don’t have an endless pot of cash to spend and brands need to realise this; but value doesn’t mean inexpensive. I’d consider the experience I’ve had with the brand - I’ve never owned an FR skate but I do own Sebas and would be inclined to purchase again given their quality; for me, quality is more important than price, but again, we all have budgets. Reviews: what are genuine consumers saying about them? If it were a slightly cheaper but virtually identical Micro vs a Seba, I’d likely chose the Seba because I’ve owned and appreciate their quality despite the slight cost increase.
