UNTHA shreds pallets and waste wood

WOLF Fenster AG in South Tyrol uses two UNTHA shredders from the LR model series to shred waste wood from production and pallets. Both wood shredders are characterised by their compact design, energy-efficient drive concept and reliability. The wood offcuts from production are manually fed into the wood shredders and shredded to a granulate size of approx. 15-20 mm. One of the waste wood shredders is located outdoors and has been equipped with a low-temperature package, which includes low-temperature oils/greases and a control cabinet heater. The shredders are connected to an extraction system. A pipe magnet removes metal parts (screws, staples) from the wood chips. The contaminant-free output material is then used to heat the company site.
