@@roguetherapist2595 If I understand your question correctly. Fe is good at reading social/emotional queues from other people individually, or collectively in a social setting. It is where ethics stem from. Te is good at gathering information/others thoughts/beliefs and then find commonalities of ideas/thoughts and use that information for basis of personal "truths/beliefs". Fi is personal feelings towards things/people/activities. Fi often times will determine if that person is in the 'mood' to do something particular, or be with someone particular in a given situation. I'm an INTJ too, my best advice is to just.. start. It's hard but for us once we start, we'll then have something to improve on and finish. Just do one small thing then build off of that. You might need to completely restart from the beginning once you realise a better way or something you did wrong, but it's about stopping thinking that perfection is needed at the start. You can be shit at the start, which is hard for us INTJs to accept, but it's essential to accept to then have something to build upon.
Another component to the answer is the fact that they’ve stereotyped the 16 types and therefore the people they view as X type is only a subset of the people of that type. Many people of a given type don’t act like the stereotype, as we’ve seen through your how to type streams, and as I’m realizing as I start to get better with the type grid. The non-stereotypical ones are usually subconscious or unconscious focused, which makes people mistype them.
I have a close friend who i think is ISTJ. im not supposed to criticize her because she has fi child but is always judging everyone for the actions they do whether its one that was morally wrong or one im which they made a stupid decision (in her opinion). I dont see how i am supposed to give gratitude to her for her Fe trickster when she is aware enough to harshly judge everyone else for the same things she does then when she gets criticized for it she comes up with all these reasons as to why what she did is either different than the same thing that someone else did, or why its simply okay.
I don't think it's possible to be grateful for the trickster function but maybe try to think about her "more functional" functions. ISTJ are often admired for dependability and pragmatism, for example.
@@LadyIarConnacht i guess what im trying to figure out is if there is how the hypocrisy comes in. Because at that point its you justifying doing the same thing you condemned someone else for doing. In that case how are you able to point out hypocrisy in anyone else if you cant see it in what you do. Just because you arent aware if others feelings per se doesn’t mean that you cant understand the concept of not doing something you wouldnt want done to you. Or if you are able to pick apart someone else and see why their actions dont line up, how could you not then do that with yourself and have sense enough to think “okay but i do this action that i dont like as well”. Almost seems like lack of self awareness or just completely not giving a shit and its okay for you to do something but not for others and you know you are a hypocrite. Either that or i could have her type wrong? But any clarification?
@@MackenzieHoffman It sure is frustrating. I have a close relative that's suspected ISTJ and she drives everybody crazy with apparent hypocrisy. But I found out sometimes she's using Si in place of Fi. So, she might not actually be comparing her values to theirs. For example, she's always upset that her kids don't call very often, but she is notorious for not calling or writing anybody. I finally talked to her about it and she said, "Well, when my mom was alive I was expected to check on her every day." So, her kids were being compared to that standard or memory instead of compared to her actual current behavior.

I think you're right. So many Fi inferior become notorious rather than famous because of this. Even if people might admire their skill (or luck) they always hate on them for their self-centered attitudes and possible lack of moral fiber.
"the worst people" doesn't mean anything, we're all different and complementary with our virtues and vices. Then there is compatibility...as an INTP, I love INTJs wich I consider some of the greatest people, while ESTJs and ISTJs drive me nuts and make my life impossible everyday, especially at work. There are no good or bad types
Not a chance! Fi child cannot bear the shame of being the worst person in the world. If they have a god complex you can kill it by criticizing them properly. If you perceive triple pragmatism as being bad then I ask that you try to understand that INTJs are just looking for their path forward in a world which they believe has abandoned them.
No. I think they are actually quite sensitive and moral people. They can also be really intelligent and hilarious. They just lack Fe and are pragmatic so aint gonna follow all the social rules/norms (and actually at times can't even if they try due to Fe trickster and they get confused about them)
Since almost no one can accurately type, I even doubt my own abilities, I don't trust almost anyone to know the true and accurate type of someone they are interacting with. Even with intensive study, most will only be able to offer a good guess.
(INTJ) I was expecting this to be bad but it was actually really good. I think INFJ's overlook how bad their Te is, and are not aware of how ridiculously (and undeservedly) smug they come off, with their Ti child. I don't know what goes on in that world inside their heads, but when it comes out, a lot of the time it's pretty unintelligible. Especially when they are swinging their Ti you-know-what around (saying stuff like, "I'm like, really smart"), it's pretty hard for Te parent to not find it pretty absurd. I still intentionally try to avoid "checking them" all the time with my Te parent, because I know it's annoying.

Do you just think about the conversation? Dismiss the person because you don't like the new information? Or do you investigate and verify the new information? Thanks.

What exactly is Fi god complex? What causes it? What does it do? How can I determine if my Fi is doing that? o.o Asking for Fe Trickster cus he doesn't get it.
Dennis Jonker My assumption of Fi God complex pertains to all Fi users. We see it in xNTJs. Its having the attitude that you sh*t doesn’t stink and you cant do “anything wrong”. It’s really not that big of a deal, as an ESTP Templar I like Fi child because it bonds with my Fe child.
Fi is the awareness of ones own value basically. So Fi users value themselves over others while Fe users value others over themselves, which means that Fi users can be prone to being selfish and unaware of other peoples value. What would cause Fi god complex would be a lot of things, but within an INTJ I would imagine it would have to do with for example their Te status (how much money they make) and their Se performance performing better than everybody else. These things along with Fe trickster could make an INTJ very arrogant and possibly give the INTJ a god complex.
@@theoofsweden So it could be a worthiness confusion issue due to Si Demon's tendency to forever remember damages of the past and because Ni Hero cannot let go, Si Demon cannot stop it, for fear that doing so means it has nothing to show for it. @@elypelowski5670 okay but in order for me hit it home I need you to first tell me what you think the value Of Fe Te and Fi are
@@roguetherapist2595 If I understand your question correctly. It is also a source of morality.

My ISFJ mother keeps calling me arrogant or childish whenever I say Anything.
She literally messaged me an hour ago to ask a random question 'Will you shout at your husband?' (she means once I'm married, she's horrified that I may get married while not being mature/civilized enough in her eyes, I'm 25 a lawyer and own my own house but ok).
And I said 'Yes' (coz I'll shout him if he deserves it :p )

It's like she wants me to be docile or something.

CSJ GRILLED HER!
Almost seems like lack of self awareness or just completely not giving a shit and its okay for you to do something
but not for others and you know you are a hypocrite.

And if ANYTHING I believe Fi inferior would come across as more narcissistic than Fi child.
I think you're right. So many Fi inferior become notorious rather than famous because of this. Even if people might admire their skill (or luck) they always hate on them for their self-centered attitudes and possible lack of moral fiber.
Are INTJs the worst people?
asking for a friend and totally not for myself
Only when when we're in God (complex) mode. Otherwise we're ok.
Umm, no. Self-driven, individualistic, and lacking empathy, likely.
No. I think they are actually quite sensitive and moral people. They can also be really intelligent and hilarious. They just lack Fe and are pragmatic so aint gonna follow all the social rules/norms (and actually at times can't even if they try due to Fe trickster and they get confused about them)

Hey CS, thank you for sharing great insights.
I lately just followed most of your lectures especially the INTP and INTJ ones. And this vid eventually gives me clue why I can't bear with my Dad and bro (both of them are INTJ) in a long term. Yes, I was close to them when I was young but the older I get, the more distance I make (instinctly) because their God's complex. Even tho they're not always in that mode, they're stubborn, the ones who think know-it-all, & arrogant (it's enough for me). And the worst break up also with my ISTJ 😅.
But really as INTP I'm quite confused why I keep drawing myself even tho I already got insights from you how INTP & INTJ normally get along well?
Cheers!
Oh i got the ahuh moment with what C.S. Joseph said about Te trickster as an infj! That's why i hate to argue with anyone about a certain topic, I don't have fully knowledge on cause i hate looking for outside sources to back it up. I just tell them i am not sure and if they wanna find out they can google it. Lol
What if you have strong opinions on a matter, and somebody you half appreciate fills you in with information you did not have that contradicts some of your opinions? What do you do? Do you just think about the conversation? Dismiss the person because you don't like the new information? Or do you investigate and verify the new information?
Thanks.
Yeah, that makes sense because you might be arguing partially on intuition. I think sometimes the Se has picked up the knowledge without you being fully aware of where you got it from and may not find the sources until years later.
@@marianocastro3430 I get really curious so i check the information if it's true, and if it is really true i will be thankful for that person. I respect people's opinion, it's just a matter of how they deliver it without offending anyone.
@@LadyIarConnacht I am still confused about how to label a certain information, i just know if i can explain it rationally it came from my intuition, it's such an amazing feeling sometimes because an information just pop up in my head and find out later it's true like for example, my cousin was pregnant, i'm not sure if i dreamt about it but somehow i got the idea her baby is a girl then she took an ultra sound and the result is indeed like that. Intuition is just like some random thoughts in your head and sometimes it's easy to just brush it off cause it does'nt make sense.
Thus making Fi Child cavalier and flippant and overly misanthropic? That would be it for me, if all that adds up. Like Fi saying: Well.. If I did nothing wrong. Why was my good-enough-ness questioned by [persons]? So it kind of sees injustice as a license to not have faith in humanity, and thus only does what it wants, while retaining its nihilistic rage that has no point..

Watch the instructional video lol, its a part of the test
going through this test again after looking at the video... and its a stupid test. you don't force an answer or tell us we don't know ourselves. its like a magic trick where you think your in control, but your not, the card will always be the 5 of diamonds.
the answers i give, blanked out the thing that i am, and left only the answer i am not. why blank out answers? why not provide the choice and ignore what you didn't have an answer for?
sorry, but i looked at everything, wasted my time looking at all the answers only to find out you removed the choices, the thing i am, was the thing that was removed. and at the end, you chose the thing that was me, even though i had 4 choices and it wasn't even close to who i was. i didn't even bother reading it because the answers were chosen for me.
so i can only assume this test was a joke or some kind of physiological experiment to see how many would actually take this test and how many would complain about its stupidity after.
