No boundaries is never good.
My Grandma came down with dementia when I was in my teens and she required 24/7 care. I would have liked to earn credits for school taking care of her as when she went to the long term care facility they medically restrained her, neglected her, and she ended up with a deep bed sore. A concern in our modern western world culture is the mass amounts of narcissism in our society and family units...apparently it gets worse with age and feigned incompetence can be draining on caregivers.
Sorry but I occasionally do have to ask for help from my middle aged children with technology. From the online thermostat,to the online payments, to register online medical appointments, to the ´we no longer want to send paper so register on line to receive notifications’, to the on line scam scare….but just explain to me once, then I am good.
parents believe that their children should be on call as they were when we were young. that was a different time and place
agreed
Parents need to learn some things on their own. I have a life too you know
