Absence does make the heart grow fonder, at least in my relationship. I've been partnered up for 9 years now and I enjoy when my partner leaves for a guys weekend away or when I go away for a weekend, etc. I also enjoy my alone time so every now and then we do our own thing while we're in the same house (he video games and I read or watch a movie that I want to see alone), and it is wonderful.
