Half of this album is Country, they other half is rock this is the title track...its in the middle to divide the album Heavier metal "Sold Out" Country song "Give Heaven some Hell" or " A Rock" he just released a rap song in 2024 not on the album called "Quit" - the backstory is when he was doing writer rounds in Nashville before making it big ... someone wrote "Quit" on a bar napkin and put it in his tip jar Since then ... he has won Songwriter of the year and wrote many many songs for other artist as well as sang ALL genres of music successfully. ❤❤
That's really cool! I'll have to check out some of the heavier stuff, of course. But I wouldn't mind checking out 'Quit', either. Thank you for the info!❤️❤️
Great reaction. Hardy does go hard too. Hes great at blending country and rock and even metal. You should check out some more Hardy. Heres some awesome songs. Choose what ya want lol. A rock (country) Give heaven some hell (country) Sold out (rock) Radio song (country and metal, features Jeremy Mckinney) Rockstar (rock and a fun video) Kill shit til I die (metal) And since you said rap, Quit (rap)
As others have said, his album is basically half country and half rock and this song marks the 'transition' between the genres. The next song you should do is Jack.
Thks for the hardy video. Try give heaven some hell, a great tune. Looking forward to another one. May God look after you and your wife, love ya brother..
This was good! I loved the genre shift, and a lot of work went into the video. How many hours would it take to do all of that claymation, and how many people would have the patience to do it? Amazing!
I love claymation! In fact, I love all stop-motion animation going back to Ray Harryhausen. Must have taken a very long time to make this video. Pretty darn trippy too.
Another great reaction. I'm excited for you to go down this path of discovering more of HARDY's music. I don't want to bombard you with song suggestions but since you've crossed over to his Rock side, "JACK" is a fantastic song like other comments have suggested Keep it up!
Look at yhe Tedeschi Trucks Band. Dereck Trucks in my opinion is the best guitarist alive today. Id start with either the live "midnight in Harlem" or "Anyhow"
@@BemusingBill I appreciate that. Wish I could support but I'm a $12/laborer with two special needs kids. BTW that's been my handle since... I'm a 51 yo hillbilly metalhead but my playlist has always included all genres if the music is good. I really think we would relate in real life. Love your reactions.
His album is half Country and Rock. It’s awesome. You should do “Jack”. It’s awesome !🔥
Cool! Thank you, my friend!
I second this "Jack" is an awesome tune
The Mockingbird and The Crow album is half country and half rock with this song in the middle. It bangs!!
I loved this. He is unique and I will be so glad to hear you react to more, please.
I'm looking forward to the more rock-centric songs too. So many great recommendations here in the comments.
Loved ur reaction to HARDY. Can't wait until u do more.❤❤❤
Me too! So much to explore with Hardy! 🤘❤️🤘

Tripping balls, too 🤣
You can hear Puddle of Mud and Kid Rock as influences, for sure! ;)

Another great reaction of Hardy, his new song Quit! It has Kid Rock rapping vibes, its about a fan who left a note with the words QUIT on it.

Thank you! Hardy is great- love his voice, storytelling and guitar playing. So excited to check out more. I think Jack's the winner.🤘
Sounds like Kid Rock to me!
I Love Hardy... to me he sounds a little like Alice N Chains.
It's his big FU to the record execs telling him what to sing and wear and how to act. He went from being the "mockingbird" to the "crow".
He sounds like Kid Rock

New Hardy came out 2 hours ago! “Rockstar”. Gotta watch the video!
he just dropped a new song last night called "Rockstar " you should definitely check out...he does have a rap called "quit"
I just heard that too. I will definitely check that one ASAP!
Prepare to hit the floor, he did a Cover of "Gin and Juice" by Snoop.
That is crazy! Gotta check that out! Thank you!
When he switches to rock kinda gives me Puddle of Mud vibes.
I think the heavy part sounds a little like Puddle Of Mudd
❤ rt!😊
You said rap....new release called Quit.....
Kinda has that Saliva or Puddle of Mud sound to it.
Yes! Exactly!
Check out Radio Song!!!
Thank you, my brother! I will!
try "quit", kinda rap. amazing song
Cool! I'm been debating my next move in the Hardy catalogue. Thank you!❤️
Love it Bill! Do "Jack" please! You will love it.
I'll do it just cause I dig your handle Smokytokesalot! 😁
