@@kevinyanezmartinez6121 Yes. #1-Don't quit. I saw guys bigger and stronger than me who didn't make it through because they didn't have the mental toughness to keep going. I'm no badass, I'm just stubborn. Your body may fail you, but you can't ever quit.
I was hospitalized twice during tech school because I pushed my body beyond its limits, but I never quit.
My Lil Brother is TACP. 70% attrition rate. That's just about as high as the SEAL. There's a reason why the U.S. Military is so feared and respected. Not ment to be arrogant or cocky. Actually, very sobering after hearing and watching operations being conducted. And , hearing what you guys go through in training. There's a reason why there called " Special Forces "🤜🇺🇸🤛💪

I was a CCT in 1973. Got out and never looked back. Now with UA-cam, I can see no only what I went through, but what they are going through today. Kudos to the young ones!

You're telling me, there is a C-130 tailnumber 42069?!
I was an 11b who drove an an APC and In it were radios you could talk to god with. This apc was for TAC P. In my four years i never ran across a greater group who really instilled confidence in me. They even coached me through calling in an air strike from a warthog at our annual war games in ktc. The sgt tells me "in about ten seconds your gonna see a warthog fly over the ridge" he had it down to the second!
Gentlemen. We salute you.
The mission does not change, just you all have to make sure it happens. And you do.
Technically and physically, I believe you have to prove more, you all are awesome.
Hope us OG gave you some confidence that what you do matters, what you do cannot be done by any other force.
That what you do is something that removes any enemy that would threaten your troops.

I was a former TACP candidate. I had the Brains and Brawn. I chose not to go. My only regret in life is not answering the call. My advice, If you have the opportunity to become the worlds finest, do it

@@northstar7413 yeah it’s worth it if you ain’t got nothing going on. I think they give waivers now because the recruiting rates are so low. But back when I joined you couldn’t have anything visible. It’s your life man go do something

What's the difference in TACPs and Combat Controllers? These two units seem redundant.
To my knowledge TACPs main focus is calling in air strikes for conventional army/marine units. Combat controllers main focus is air traffic control, establishing airfields, and the air support comes in last. CCTs are exclusively special operations so they support other SOF, while TACP are majority congenital and support conventional forces. Main difference is top priority and who they support.
DO you have to go to ai training after boot camp or do you go to tacp training right after boot camp
You will go to Special Warfare Prep 8 weeks long after basic. Once completed onto TACP Prep for 1 weeks and then the 106 days of TACP schoolhouse then onto airborne school, sere, FTU phase 1 and then phase 2
