My daughter was diagnosed as Lymphoma way back in 2014 when she was a undergraduate of electronics in indian adm kashmir got treated at Tata Memorial Mombay were we remained connected for couple of yrs while going through different phases of treatment we observed a lot of applications for shokat khanam Allahamdullah treatment was successful she completed her masters from university of leeds England now her PhD in biomedical engineering is near completion at the same university she is under proper fallow up at saint johns cancer institute leeds they too have lot of applications for Tata and shokat khanam Fortunately we in india have lot many hospitals of same reputation like tata
while in pakistan we only here of SK and Imran khan only no efforts on govt or private sector

I really enjoyed the conversation. Pakistan thrives because of the constant effort by its great people. I have a suggestion for the hospital. I live in USA and I had travel back to UK as my father was dying because of duodenum cancer. He was moved to a beautiful secluded place called “hospice” where cancer patients were taking their last breath. I had to pay nothing for it yet I was treated like I was in a 5 star hotel. I had an extremely clean separate sleeping area dedicated for family members only. My father passed away peacefully in front of me and my family members. Everything was done in an orderly and respectful manners. I wish that Shaukat Khanum hospital builds a separate area for dying patients so their pain is managed by medically trained staff and their last few days are in comfort for the patients and their families.
He explained that the hospital has palliative care and end of life care for registered cancer patients.
