I. Love. The. Bonemancer! It's my go-to build at the start of a ladder season and the flow of the build is my favourite way to play! Flipping between bone spear, corpse explosion, and the curses, killing both entire screens of monsters and having the precision to make short work of bosses, there's just.... So few things to worry about! It also helps that there's just a handful of monsters in the game immune to magic, and those are swiftly dealt with via corpse explosion and/or mercenary + golem. Plus, it's super cheap for a hell-viable build!

May I add a really good chest armor he didn't mention: Bone runeword (Sol Um Um). This armor is insane, it literally has automatic bone armor recast when you get hit, so you pretty much become immune to physical damage while wearing it. You can just stand there and get hit and the bone armor will keep recasting itself automatically, it's so good! Definitely #2 before you get Enigma! Note that it says a low level bone armor recast, but all your synergies from bone wall and bone prison (which are the vast majority of your bone armor's hp) will *still* count towards the recast bone armor, so it's pretty much the same as if you cast it yourself. Edit: obviously in extreme situations like a blood lord pack with zeal or something, it may break before it gets recast, so it's not *always* 100% safe to stand there, but it still boosts your survivability by a lot.
The cost of that runeword is pretty high, especially when you can simply throw out a few bone walls/prisons to soak up physical damage for you. Plus losing out on 30% FCR from Skin of Viper is pretty huge. That 30% fcr helps with survivability and damage since faster cast means more bone walls/prisons as well as crowd control curses.
@@Primifluous I'm at the last FCR breakpoint with Bone runeword armour, sooo.. There are ways to make it work, and make it work well, if you know what you're doing (;

If you're at the 125% breakpoint without using Viper then you're sacrificing on damage, mf, or survivability somewhere else on your gear where you're forced to get FCR. edit: You're right it's not a bad armor necessarily. It's just that if you've found 2 Um runes you've probably also found a Viper, which allows for much greater gear flexibility.
@@Primifluous you're right about the MF part. I mean this as a maximum kill efficiency build, to maximize the amount of runes found so one can more quickly switch to Enigma. I actually got horribly unlucky on this char, I got 3 Cham runes before ber or jah. When you get enigma you get the mf too. And with Bone runeword armour my spear dmg sits at 6k per pop. Without maxed synergies either.
Get a Delirium and Bone, those two runewords will add 4 skills to the necromancer. And with the white wand socketed and Splendor, then you will have +12-13 bonespear, and that is without charms, rings and amulets.

People are inevitably going to be looking up TONS of stuff for Diablo 2, so if you capatalize on this - you're gonna have to make plenty of D2 content releasing today. I know you've already done lots of guides that are a few years old, but people will be coming for videos that have been "recently uploaded" and if you do this, you're going to truly expand your audience even further. This is huge, Mr. Llama, I encourage you to do all kinds of videos going forward (as long as you have fun doing these, of course). When the expansion released with all the rune words kind of replaced a lot of the endgame gear... not too many sets are utilized because of what all the runewords can offer in a lot of cases. I wouldn't mind seeing some of the gear sets reworked a bit to make them more viable, perhaps not for all situations but a nice buff for them would be okay especially for full sets. Not talking about the gear stats themselves, but each piece gives better set bonuses... Thoughts? Full Trang set and you transform into a monster lol
I know people are in love with bone prison for some reason, but bone wall is much superior for a boner since you can use it very easily to create lines to channel monsters in exactly the direction you want so you can line them for a bone spear. You're basically constantly modifying the battlefield to funnel enemies right into your bone spear line and hitting like six enemies at the same time each time as they travel down the bone wall to hit ya... And you can still panic spam it to stop a bunch of monsters coming.
necro has the best type of magic, death magic, there is no resistance for it,that's why the bone spirit deals such much of damage at 5k, and if you have faster spell casting,and spirit flies like a stream, you shoot like a machine gun, teeth and every ghost flies after the opponent
Church Pastors are similar to twitch streamers. One of the key differences is a Pastor gets paid for one day of performance a week while llama has to do at least 40 hours a week.

build a necro for close combat, I saw one once, no one could beat him, it was beautiful 😍, he used, summoned, poison nova, low resistances and of course enigma, cast the residence curse, nova and teleported to the opponent, and the pets have done the rest, plus the summons creates a natural shield around you
What do you think about D2 Resurrected having a Runeword section of inventory management? Meaning, can I go to a menu that shows me what runewords I can craft with the equipment i have currently have and then just hit Craft/Build? This would be a nice QOL feature. Especially for those newbies OR even on console. I always hated having to find a FAQ or guide for all of the Runewords. And like you said, Dol then Io. Interface should auto place them in that order unless i want to override for some reason. Would feel real bad on console if they were placed incorrectly because of interface.

So I am a new player and the poisonmancer attracts me so much. But I am not sure if should I just use corpse/skeletons until I get poison Nova. Or idk in general I am not sure what to do I just want to run around and poison the shit out of everyone
Hey, I love your content and I am kinda new to diablo. I watch a lot of youtube and trying to understand the game. I think I have base game knowledge at this point, but I still dont know what items to loot and inspect when dropped ( by that I mean when some gray or white item drops then idk if these items are good or not, for like future craft or something like that), so I would love to know what should I focus on, so I dont miss any "rare" white/gray items that I just dont loot cuz they are gray/white. Hope u will understand what I am trying to say I live in EU :-) I would appreciate a guide video on this topic^^

Io rune dropped on my first nm countess run looking for it. Then I went back to norm and shopped drognan and within 30 minutes found a *3 bone spear, *2 corpse explosion, *1 to dim vision white wand I socketed. Such a good litle run.
Just gonna throw this out there, but does anyone know, according to cannon, if the name is Trang-Oul (like in Diablo 2) or is it Trag-Oul (like in Diablo 3), or are these just 2 different individuals with coincidentally similar names?
Hammerdin is the easiest, Javazon is the most fun. Bonemancer with corpse explosion is kinda fun too) Basically any character is playable and can be fun in their own ways
I don't play the game but he has "poison dagger challenge" and stated in previous clips that his poison ain't the best. But the level 30 poison skill could be viable with the right gear.

Ahh the bonemancer. a pain in the butt for pvm, but the only way to effectively beating the allmighty hammerdin.
