How to Set Up Auto Tracking on a PTZ Camera

Some of our network-based IP PTZ cameras at cctvcameraworld.com have a cutting-edge intelligence feature called auto-tracking, also known as smart-tracking, which can focus on a person or vehicle using sophisticated artificial intelligence detection methods. Auto-tracking tells the camera to start following a target until it disappears after it detects that the target is violating a detection rule. Although Smart Detection is used for tracking, it should not be confused with the Smart Detection features. It is its own unique feature.
Vehicles in less-busy places, such as driveways, parking lots, and gated communities, can benefit from auto tracking. Driveways, guarded entrances, storage facilities, alleyways, streets, and walkways leading to valuables are also all places where Auto-tracking may be useful.
However, auto tracking is not a perfect solution, and you must take good care in setting up the preset and AI detection rules. Obstructions and fast moving targets will cause the auto tracking feature to act buggy or fail completely.
