Every pedal will clean up to a certain extent but most newer products are actually taking this into consideration when designing. A vintage Rat, BIg Muff, DS-1 are some examples of pedals that won't entirely bring back a clean signal when backed off. Thanks, PGS
I used to think I needed tons of pedals to get good sound. Thank you proguitarshop for showing me that most pedals are really similar and all I need is an overdrive pedal, a distortion pedal and a reverb. I went with the catalinbread MK 2, the wampler Plextortion and the blue sky reverberator. Thanks again PGS for saving me a fortune :)
Andy, please demo the Orange OR15. Also, the only thing that would make your demos better would be to have caged go-go dancers on either side of you, which I think would go over really well with your fans. You're welcome in advance!
Just ordered one a few days ago from you guys on ebay, hoping to get it tomorrow. Can't wait to finally stop having to run over and press the button on my amp lol
It looks like he's trying to hold back a smile while he says it. He knows you were waiting for it.

Where it comes to acoustics - indeed, it does make a huge difference. But with gainy, electric guitar sounds - the difference is pretty much unhearable when Andy plays it ;] Check out the review of the Lovepedal OD11. And try to guess, which examples were played with a pick, and which without
I think that not using a pick makes a big difference. Pick up your guitar and try both. It gives the note a much rounder attack. It's not nearly as percussive or bright.
I´m supposed to by this G & L only beacause it seems to be Andy´s favorite guitar and i said it before: Andy is my favorite guitarist at all. Anyone here knows what model of G & L is that? Amazing demo as always! I´ll buy this pedal on PGS too! =D
you guys do some of my favorite reviews ever...and you played a Weezer song. Finally somebody used a band that I like in a review to give me a good idea of what it could sound like. Thank you

yes, You're right, but Andy has truly mastered his technique. Belive me, it's nearly impossible to recognize when he's playing with and without pick
have you ever played an acoustic with a pick and without a pick? big difference in sound there. yes the fact that he doesn't use a pick makes a difference.

The graphics on the old Walrus pedals were so much more badass.
Andy you kill me man! The Queens at the start was just perfection! Best pedal reviewer in the world
What song is it?
@@aaronlusher288 you can't quit me baby
You know a pedal is good when the led light serves as an element of the artwork. I mean that's the only criterion.
Thanks for the order, you can't go wrong with the Iron Horse!
I know it's been said countless times, but Andy is always so damn spot on with his riffs. Just awesome. The pedal sounds great too.
Ok, I'm going to buy one of these pedals now because you played old school QOTSA with it. As good a reason as any, right?
Congrats on the 100th video PGS!! Still Rocking after all this time!! great demo as usual!!
Congrats for the 1000th PGS, you guys rock.

Dear Andy. I hope shake your hand one day. Your playing always makes my day. Thank you for being alive!
- A huge fan!
The Good Life......very nice, Andy.
This pedal is solid gold. Makes me wanna bleed in the sink
Jamie Bigham I see what you did there. Nice.
Congrats guys on 1000 videos - superb stuff.
Congratz on your 1000th video guys, we love your work!!
"You Can't Quit Me" by Queens of the Stone Age
Some QOTSA with my favorite UA-cam guitarist this time of night is gold!
Andy, please demo the Orange OR15.

Happy 1000th video PGS!
The world needs more fuzz. Thank your PGS and Walrus audio. You are ambassadors for a better planet.
this, a earthquaker acapulco gold or a tone city wildfire?
what do you think of this compared to something like the earthquake devices hoof fuzz
I was hoping for, "I'm playing with a G&L Legacy, through a 65 Amp Soho."
Nails Iommi's early Sabbath tone...
Cool! from an OD to a fat fuzz with a flick of the switch!
Happy 1000th Video Anniversary Pro Guitar Shop.. ;)
Would like to see Andy playing some super cheap pedals just for fun... Danelectros, Behringers and Joyo. I bet it would sound killer.
Just ordered one a few days ago from you guys on ebay, hoping to get it tomorrow. Can't wait to finally stop having to run over and press the button on my amp lol
Congratulations on the 1000 video! I know I've seen at least 950 of them!
congrats on your 1000th video!
Damn, the grit on this one is sweeet!
you played the good life... you literally made my night for doing that.
Badass finish! Badass sound!
I'm looking for a pedal that doesn't clean up well with your guitars volume. I'm quite sure they don't exist (anymore)?
Huzzah, happy 1000th video!
Nice! I used to look at the products. Now? I just like to hear Andy play!
I would buy that pedal just for its artwork
There are no remaining complements that i can say to Andy
YOu are a God

been waiting for this one!
You can't quit Andy, baby
Looking forward to the next 1000 videos!
I agree! G&L should give Andy A signature model!
congratulations for your 1000 video ;)

I fucking love all the Queens of the Stone Age you play man
I hope PGS will be having a sale after xmas!
Sick! Luv the tone.
nice QOTSA sound !
I would buy that SO fast!
your fingers are amazing... no is necesary one pick
HELL YEAH for Hagstrom! Best guitars EVER!
sweet starting off with QOTSA :DDD
Man that sounds good!
How would this pedal sound on a small amp? like a Blues Jr.?
I´m supposed to by this G & L only beacause it seems to be Andy´s favorite guitar and i said it before: Andy is my favorite guitarist at all.
Anyone here knows what model of G & L is that?
Amazing demo as always! I´ll buy this pedal on PGS too!
=D
You Can't Quit Me Baby! Classic QOTSA stuff.
Great option to a expensive vintage Rat,- this, and the Jam Rattler ,are actually even juicier.
Who needs a fuzz and an overdrive combo when you've got this?! ermahgerd derstershun
deff changes the attack, probably encourages the sag a little.
you guys do some of my favorite reviews ever...and you played a Weezer song. Finally somebody used a band that I like in a review to give me a good idea of what it could sound like. Thank you

QUEENS!!!!
Congrats on hitting the 1,000 video mark. That's a lot of riffage!
Will you all do the Jimi Hendrix pedals on your website?
i think the fact that andy doesn't use a pick effects the tone .
1. It was a bit sarcastic because nowadays EVERY guitar pedal cleans up well if you roll down volume. 2. SRV's version of Mary Had A Little Lamb
sounds great..lots of sustain
I have a simple question, where do you hide the the pick when you're not playing with it?
Did you guys use the DRRI on this demo? I'd love to know as i just picked up a DRRi.
QOTSA, yes!
Can I ask why you are specifically looking for that?
im looking for a fuzz that will sound close to an Orange TH30, Any suggestions?
I'd like to know what distortion pedal or amp preamp distortion DOESN'T clean up with the guitar's volume knob??
Older pedals (vintage rat)
please, name of the last song? (3:40)... please!
very nicely...
What song was he playing
what would you compare this pedal to sound wise?
Congrats on the 1000 PGS, you make the internets a better place!!
Now shut up and take my money!
I really need to get me a fat fuzz pedal when I get over to the other side of the pound!
Caused me to buy a Legacy HSS tribute. :)
You cant quit me baby.
QOTSA
Life is a trip, when you're psycho in love.
Queens of the Stone Age !
have you ever played an acoustic with a pick and without a pick? big difference in sound there. yes the fact that he doesn't use a pick makes a difference.
queens of the stone age and weezer? is it my birthday?
I WANNA GO BACK YEAAHAAHAHAHAHHHHHHH!!!!!!
What song in the intro?
FIRST! i THINK! most of these pedals just have different covers on them sure sound the same in alot of these vids
Andys an old school weezer fan lol
Anyone know what's the song at 3:40?
I just click on these videos to hear Andy play
i already have a big muff pi w/ tone wicker you think if i purchase this iron horse would be redundant?
the iron horse is more like a proco rat, so not really.
I don't want to be a nomad anymore
What song in 2:59?
Yeah, that one! :^)
You think!!!
1000th video :) I thought it would be a big deul off or soemthing
WEEZER!!!!
