You're the hero we need, but don't deserve! Thank you for taking the time to make your videos...this one and the CBA Mood video you created were both very helpful.
Ey, question, (I have the pedal too and am looking at the instruction manual). When accessing the secondary wave shape functions, you held the bypass button down as you switched the wave shape mode, though you were still holding the bypass button engaged as you were turning the setting back to the original primary function mode (for instance when changing it to 'sink' you still had the bypass button engaged when you switched it back to the rise setting). Are you sure this changed the secondary function to sink rather than keeping it at warp? How would you know? I read the whole manual but I don't think it's quite specific enough to be certain about using some of the secondary functions. Thanks for the video!
Great video & explanation of the pedal. I have a Slö & I absolutely love it...!!! Imo - a rushed rise could be used to segue into a different passage of your music. Anything more than 2 measures would not be pleasing to the ears. Thnx again for putting this all together & taking the time for such detail. Subbing 🎃🎶🎸👍
Is there a way of altering the wet/dry setting while or before entering the latch mode in dream, so that your guitar signal is fully wet while the pad is sounding? Thanks
From what I've noticed when playing it...once you latch, it creates the pad and if you change the mix knob position it will affect the pad and wet/dry sound of the reverb. So turning the knob clockwise makes the pad and your wet reverb louder. If that makes sense. Turning clockwise will make the pad go away eventually once you are fully counter-clockwise.
"pad" is a typical term for a synth sound that sits underneath everything in a mix. Think like how a drone can be used to create a bottom layer of sound beneath everything else.
@@kevwyxin I liked both. Can afford only one. My amp has reverb..I'm a bit tilting towards SLO. Dammn they did bad to make two pedals, could have just combined and made one...
Yeah I had that same thought about combining them. But they can sell more products by having two. 😉 I like the slo better because of the rise mode. I don’t have a volume pedal because I use the rise mode to do swells. I use that mode so much that I’m glad I got the slo over the fathom. If your amp has reverb I would go with slo because you’ll get more texture and movement with it and any normal reverb can come from your amp. 👍

This video is LITERALLY like reading the manual, the quality here is underrated man

This was a great video, thank you. And what a lovely pedal
No problem! It’s a good one for sure!

I just got this pedal and this is what's driving me crazy - haven't figured out yet 😵💫
One of my favorite pedals of 2019
I thought I responded to this already. But I guess not...here goes.
Same.

Ciao amico ma come fai a passare dagli effetti della parte sinistra a quelli della parte destra?
Do you play direct or with a amp, and If amp, what amp? Your dry signal sounds so good! Also Nice seeing you on Andy’s stream today!
No amp at the moment, only the guitar and pedals. :)
I just got mine, but it seems like the rise setting only works if I strum hard, is that normal?
I didn’t have that experience. Do you have anything before it to help with your overall level? Like a compressor?
Totoro approved.
Totoro tested.
ARE THE OTHER KNOBS AT 50% AT THAT WEIRD ANGLE OR ARE THEY AT 50% STRAIGHT UP??
Yes. Only the Mix knob's 50% is different from a standard knob's.
Great review !! Just got one, great sound but the sound boosts when I turn it on, is it normal?
I haven’t noticed an increase in volume when it’s on with mine.
@@kevwyxin thanks for the quick response, probably there's something wrong with mine.. Damn!

I just got mine and I love it - but does the modulations (sine/warp/sink) reset when the power is cut off?? or do I need to to an extra reset?
As far as I know they do not reset when you cut power. They stay wherever you set them last.
@@kevwyxin and which one of the modulations is in the default mode when you first use the pedal?
Defaults are this: Dark mode uses Sink, Rise uses Sine, and Dream uses Sink
@@kevwyxin Rise and Sine! I crack myself up sometimes😄

This or walrus fathom?. Big dilemma
I haven’t played with the fathom, but when I compared the two before buying I liked the SLO better. 🤷♂️ That may be obvious though. 😅
