Dodge RAM SRT-10 3" Rear Lowering Kit
Вставка
- Опубліковано 10 лют 2025
- In this video we show the Dodge RAM SRT-10 3" Rear lowering kit on the leaf springs of the back of this pickup truck. This is 3" lowering kit that raises the rear axle of the truck by 3 inches which effectively lowers the truck. The rear axle on the Dodge RAM SRT10 is flipped from the factory meaning the leaf springs are below the axle so lowering this truck more is fairly straight forward. See how we get it done in this video using some simple tools in the Garage!

Energy suspension makes some low profile bump stops that bolt right back in the factory holes,I can't remember the part #, I had them on my truck, they would work great for you to
looks good. i did this to my ram, not srt10 i had to actually do a flip kit in the back. did the lowering spindles. did the custom wheels with fat tires. i bent my fenders.. cut one of the tires
Been lowering trucks since early 80s. Done a lot in my young youth. Advice? Do one side at a time. Meaning leave u-bolts/nuts in if your not working on that side. Why? Less chance of pins not going into the blocks. Ever see that truck going down the street with rear going one way and front another? That's why!! Pins aren't in blocks or axle. Just friendly advice.
I have an 02 Dodge Ram quad cab what lowering block did you use
Big fan with the srt10 vids
I have a 2008 dodge ram 1500 slt crewcab, and I wanted to put an srt body kit, and I was wondering if you could give pointers on which website to find a full body kit. If could help me out that would be great, if not that's ok.
This video saved me from doing some dumb stuff. Almost took a saw to the leaf springs thanks brother
Good luck finding new oem rear bump stops I couldn’t find them when I had my srt10 you should make a video of replacing the slapper bar bump stops i used 3” energy suspension bump stops since my oem ones where crumbling
it's tighter than when it was new !
When I had an 05 hemi I used 2 inch lowering shackles but it only gave like an inch drop.
I've always used new u bolts when lifting or lowering my trucks. I've had one set snap while driving. $40 and I had new ones made up. That's why they say never reuse U bolts. Be careful 👍
Not a bad idea either! Honestly I don’t beat on this thing that’s what the other cars are for 😬
@@BoostedMotorsports its the factory tq of 140 ish ft p, and that first stretch. Reusing, and re torquing to that 140 ft p again is the problem.
Looks really good dude 👍 will Amazon have the kit for the springs, u bolts, and blocks?
I’ll link it up tonight when I get home for ya brother 💪
Thanks a lot bro keep up the good work man I just bought a 2018 ram sport , thanks for all the lighting help 👍🤝H. I. D's fog light reverse light u keep it 👌💯
Hey brother which truck do you need the lowering kit for?
@@BoostedMotorsports my SRT it's a quad cab is it the same as ur regular cab?
@@MOPAR_CRUZ Here is the kit for your truck brother! Its a bit different for quad cab and they also sit a bit higher factory so the kits drop them down a bit more amzn.to/31kmuku
Looking good
Thanks John!!
Where did u get the blocks?
Did you have an issue with anything rubbing? I lowered mine 1.5 inches and every time I hit a hard enough bump I think the driveshaft is rubbing if I bottom out… did you have any of these issues?
That’s what I need to do to my truck too doesn’t look to hard to do
Do it up! 💪
Thumbs up, Awesome!
Thanks Wil! 🤟

I have similar 3 inch drop on a 04 Ram and I had to get shorter shocks to get the ride smooth. It drove like dog shit with the stock shocks also you can get shorter factory bump stops for a Durango cutting them makes them split. Let me know if that helps. Check out my 04 Viper build I have a pic on instageam @themoparman2020
