That turned out so beautifully. I do like the little blank space on the back to, restful. All your elements work so nicely and give it such a vintage feel. I'm off today to find some FIMO and make a few buttons. That was a great tutorial on button making. Can wait to see what we do next.

Thank you Rachel for creating a fun and useful project. I had fun making mine, adding a lining with a zipper pocket, and making it into a cross body bag. I have to make my button still but come spring, this will be the pouch I carry as a purse! My first time making a cross body bag but your creativity always inspires me. 🤗❤️

Put a piece of double sided tape below the fringe, then press fringe onto tape & that would keep it out of your way

Hi Rachel, absolutely beautiful pouch and I have loved watching you make it ❤ thank you so much for what you said about Slowstitch and how some people use it (wrongly ) to mean any kind of handstitching. As you said, it's so much more than that, and I for one feel quite passionate about it. Especially when I see it used as a 'buzzword' by some to describe what they do just as a kind of marketing thing. I don't often get riled up about things, but that's one of the things that gets me going. Or perhaps I am being mean and it's just a lack of understanding on their part. 😁 So thank you again for getting the message out. ❤❤❤
I just discovered this and never heard what “slow stitch” means. So I assumed it was hand stitching. I’ve been working on side panels for a rice bag.
