if you liked that, you should have been in Wellingborough a couple of weeks ago when I was part of the Battle of the Somme 100th Year Anniversary Parade. We were in No. 8 Dress (MTP Combat Uniform), but who cares, I was on the far left, right at the front of the 3 ranks
If ever your planning a visit to Shropshire and the Ironbridge Gorge (including the Shropshire Regimental Museum in Shrewsbury) drop me a line and I'll show you round - don't worry I'm not a weirdo, just an old school reenactor - holdouthux@yandex.com
Most of the clothing, such as the coat, smallclothes, and bearskin cap were commissioned with tailors within my regiment (rwfia.org) and custom made. I also bought my musket directly from my company captain. There are a number of sutlers that you can purchase accoutrements and kit from though, including JAS Townsend and Son (they also have a lovely UA-cam channel by the same name), GGGodwin, Smoke and Fire, and The Quartermaster General. If you are thinking about joining the hobby though, I suggest you contact individual groups and start talking to them before buying anything.
you should visit London when the Grenediar Guards have fun at Buckingham palace and do drill to the Game of Thrones theme song and the Imperial Star Wars songs
That bandsman front left having one of spurs come off at 7:01 though
Rest in peace, he will be missed.
Great video!
+Military Bands Everywhere Thank you! I should expect you to know, given your channel name!

That would've been great to see! If there are any other upcoming WW1 events, let me know!
not that I'm in. My next parade is the remembrance day parade around Wellingborough again in November though
Very nice! Though I will probably be at the Cenotaph on Remembrance Day (in a non-recording capacity) What is your unit?
LNR ACF Wellingborough, Royal Anglian Regiment. I'm not assigned to a Battalion, but most NCO's and Officers are part of the 1st Battalion Vikings
Oh my God, England! That's so cool
+Tad Halpin Very cool. And windy. Rainy.
Kind of like my home here in Florida, though a lot colder and I'm guessing
Ah, so you're over here! Everything is at least twice as old as your country of origin, you'll love it!
And every place is rife with educational opportunities, which I fully plan to explore!
