Hey Blitz, thanks for the kind words. Look lets be honest,, he's probably not for everyone. I'm a fan of the Mad Max films, so he ticks that box for me. On the other hand, it's just a really nicely put together set. I think I was just pleasantly surprised by it. Maybe check out a couple of other reviews and see if that cements your decision.
Excellent review! I’m thrilled with this figure. If you put him in an aggressive action pose the open mouth face looks good and is appropriate. Doesn’t look silly at all. Overall a great figure with great accessories. I’m happy to have it, and your review is on point as far as I’m concerned. Well done.

Great review and always and entertaining to review! I skipped out on this one like I did G’hyde. Still waiting for mine, was a favourite when I was a kid back in the 80's (89 I just checked, long time ago lol) I always loved his size and the Mad Max crossbow (which I tried to build a 1/1 functioning version of many times as a kid but settled on a Barnette Trident crossbow pistol with rotating 'barrels' eventually). I never really understood his cinderblock hammer, in my experience if you throw a cinder block at a hard object it breaks! Having a handle through it would just make it a lot weaker. New hammer's a nice upgrade, the meat tenderiser is the business end btw. Being a Biker myself I can understand the thought behind the helmet design up to a point, in the 1970's it was very common for Bikers to wear old WW1 and WW2 German helmets complete with spikes, this was the golden age of choppers! Insanely long Swedish style springer front ends, huge ape hangers, long sissy bars, coffin tanks etc..
I'm so glad they didn't just give him the generic, "big guy" legs that they've been reusing since Gung Ho. His feet still look weirdly small, proportionally, but at least he seems to stand pretty easily.
Thank God those legs weren't used. When I was doing the comparison between him, Gnawgahyde and VOA in the video, bet you can guess which one was the most pain in the ass to stand up straight.
Not sure why so many feel like RP should be ripped, his oring figure was muscular, but not ripped (see the oring for Big Boa and Raptor for figures who were actually "ripped" figures. Not to mention a lot of promo art for RP back then had him with a double chin and looking more bulky than ripped. I will say the face may be too young looking? And not ugly enough? I think he needed to have a round, pug nose and chubby cheeks like the original artwork had. I think he looks exactly how I would imagine RP looking. Just a mass of a man. He still looks he has a lot of muscle too, just hidden under a layer of fat. Like a strong man should look. Not a major gripe, but wish his box art had featured him without the pig mask. Really looking forward to this figure though!
I think they made this body in the 1st place to use a good portion of it to make Fridge otherwise I expect this guy would have been the same body template as Gung Ho and Road Block instead.

Good review! 80's Road Pig was a big intimidating giga chad of masculinity and an individual force of destruction . While the Classified version is just a chunky ( dude is chunky don't let the big arms fool you)big guy that looks like background actor or dumb muscle character from a Mad Max movie. While the face sculpt is good. To me the facial design is dopey. Like an 80,s american high school football player who is the muscle for the big bad bully in 80's high school movies dopey. But thats me. I will say the accessories of the Classified version make up for the underwhelming modernized body design. If he didn't come with dog, masks, and other various weapons. He just would have been a meh figure in the line. Also the garish stomach tattoo was unnecessary. It makes the body looks fatter. If I get him I will have him just wearing the pig head. I will just make up a head cannon where he had a bad head injury on a mission. That caused some mild brain damage. So his face is all messed up. And because of that incident he briefly retired from being a Drednok due to depression and gained about 30 to 40 pds of fat lol. Then he goes back to being a Drednok because he needs the money.
