Craig’s St Juste defense is getting to “my child” levels of defense. Ben’s flashes are him playing like an ok starting corner and his negative plays look like rookie mistakes. If he was a rookie or a second year player his gaffes would be a lot more understandable. It’s concerning that he hasn’t seemed to improve since his sophomore season.
Also at this point it feels very unfair to Sainristil to say St Juste is our best corner down in and down out

Okay so because you don't watch the tape and/or don't know what you're looking at, I'm wrong? That's cool.

@@craighoffman I think you say a lot of very right things. I also think you say things I disagree with. I do watch tape, not for a job but for fun. There are probably things I’m not seeing that you are. That being said, I strongly disagree based on what I’ve seen both in the game and on the tape that St Juste is our best corner on a down for down basis. I’m open to convincing, just so far not convinced

He's not good when the ball's thrown his way, but watch how tight the coverage is when it's not. Which is most downs. He's also VERY solid in the run game. And then you watch some of the incompletions on Mikey/Noah and they're just bad throws. They're all pretty closely lumped, but he's their most consistently good guy for sure.

@@craighoffman it’s critical to be good when the balls thrown your way though, it’s a huge weakness for corners. Shareece wright comes to mind as a guy that was often in position but would get beat when the ball went his way.
I totally get that the team has put St Juste in difficult situations that are likely above his pay grade. I also think he’s been playing poorly in spots where he’s not asked to do things above his pay grade. I’d love to see how he does in the slot, but Mikey seems to have that locked down in the future once we find Lattimores running mate on the outside

Dude, St. Juste has had FOUR YEARS to prove ANYTHING. I'm SICK of watching him get burned. I'm sure he's a good guy, I know he competes. But you can't have no ball skills, be slow and be a Corner in the NFL. His reaction time is trash, flatfooted. I'd rather watch Forbes get beat. At least hes not slow and has ball skills. I've been watching Juste get beat too long. On obvious passing downs, put Forbes in. The thing about Forbes is he can't tackle, he's not physical. I know. But four years of Juste not doing anything is Sickening. Other than that I love the rest of this Team. I mean Honestly I'd put Tyler Owens at Corner. Fuck it. I guarantee you he'd be a good Corner if he was taught. He's fast, Physical, big, can jump over your head Craig. I'm not a Coach, but I played Corner through College. I would have seen Owens ability off rip. I don't care if he's a "safety". He's a Football player. Too much athletic ability and skill to not take somebody like St. Juste spot

I feel like the only reason Owens went undrafted is because he believes in flat earth or whatever, and said it publicly at the Combine. Who cares. Dudes a Menace on the Field
