Listening to the sound of his voice draws you in . Love how he describes and explains his story so intelligently and interesting his whole story and life experience a survivor . His love for music .
Motley Crue was my favorite band growing through my teens/early twenties. They were a huge part of my life, at that point. My first concert, first album (yes, album), my first musical love. This band was a bigger influence on my life, than anyone at that time. Nostalgia .... Gotta love it. I miss those days ..as we all do eventually.
Millions of people are drug addicts. Millions of people overcome their addiction. Nikki Sixx, in my opinion, is not a musical genius. He is a mediocre bass player, and that's on a good day. I have no clue how Motley Crue remained on their feet. They did though, and so I have respect. Someone like him, a "rock star", someone with money, people who are willing to help you, not because of you, but because of your name....he had way more help getting clean then your average junkie. Good for him, but I'm not all that impressed. He's not really anything all that spectacular . Just my opinion 🙂
He's a famous rapper from a place called Canada, won many awards and has a show on the largest Canadian radio called "q" on the world wide famous CBC . but don't tell me, you are American and never heard of anything here
WOW! Always loved the music, never knew any of this. This guy's sincerity speaks to me as a musician. This is kind of inspiring. This guy is deeper than he looks. And he's so real. There's simply no pretense. And he survived his suffering and adversity to become something of a leader.
I did not expect to come away from this interview thinking about how I should handle some financial situations. What a great, multi-faceted artist! We love you dude, from Florida.
I love Nikki's advice to new bands and musicians. I love hearing something I wrote and recorded and I can pinpoint the exact artist or band I was trying to emulate with that tune.

Wow just wow! I never expected such an insightful interview. I work underprivileged kids and I am going to borrow stuff I heard here. Nikki Sixx explained what a man is and can be. Thank you for the interview!
Nikki Sixx was in Prince George BC when my daughter was a baby still. He was getting a prescription filled at London drugs as my daughter and her mom were there getting their prescription filled. He picked up my daughter, she was two years old and very sick at the time coughing badly, and played with her and got her to smile and was such a good guy to her. My children's mom told me and I just about hit the roof with excitement. Thanks for being awesome to your fans including the babies. Your the man
How refreshing it is to hear a guy that's been threw so much, and leave the ego behind. (Big diff of ego and confidence.) He's never forgotten his roots. Tyson kinda' forgot, then was reminded. Now look at Mike Tyson....whole different person. Nikki NEVER forgot. True artists don't retire.
My dad did some pest control work for him in the 90s. My dad asked him for an autograph and brought it home to me. I was 14 and that was definitely one of my all time favorite treasures.
I grew up with Crue, I was so in love with Nikki Sixx. I still I'm, my daughter loves it. She loves to listen to all the songs I grew up on. I love it. Keep Rocking Sixx, you've helped me get through some hard times through your music. Thank you for being alive & still making magic!!!

I love the different sound of them although I can hear a minuscule amount of the Crüe in a few songs. Must be the bass. Long live Sixx A.M.! Love you Nikki, DJ and James!
I’m 23 and I’m just now learning about rock/metal and groups like Motley Crue. I’ll say this group so far has been the most inspirational for me when it comes to where they came from and how successful they become to be. Love this group and I love listening to their music
My mother used to be a dancer and go to concerts all the time when she was in her and she's met a ton of celebs. Nikki was one of them, and she said he was very nice.

I respect him but it would be nice if nikki showed some respect to other musicians once in a wile and not only the hand full he adors
Same ! I went to so many concerts when I was young and I will always remember not being able to see them. I was way too young but I really wanted to go lol
they have a tour going on 2022 if ur that interested
Nikki has always been my favorite member of Motley Crue. He’s cool & laid back & is a great story teller. 🤘🏻
THE STRUGGLE IS REAL *CATER*
Listening to the sound of his voice draws you in . Love how he describes and explains his story so intelligently and interesting his whole story and life experience a survivor . His love for music .
He could be an excellent hypnotherapist. His voice and steady cadence pulls you in.
Here we are in 2022 watching them relight the torch
Nikki seems like a really cool, intelligent and nice guy.
Nikki Sixx, you are a living legend! love listening to you talk
This man’s IQ is just outstanding and perfectly outspoken
Fucking LOVE Nikki and this interview guy is fucking stellar. Need to see more of his interviews.
He's a famous rapper from a place called Canada, won many awards and has a show on the largest Canadian radio called "q" on the world wide famous CBC .
but don't tell me, you are American and never heard of anything here
from.way. downtown
Thanks for the snarky reply. I do appreciate the information despite the attitude.
my bad sorry, you seem nice n polite and sometimes my emotions hijack my finger tips and type rude stuff that the wrong people receive.
WOW! Always loved the music, never knew any of this. This guy's sincerity speaks to me as a musician. This is kind of inspiring. This guy is deeper than he looks. And he's so real. There's simply no pretense. And he survived his suffering and adversity to become something of a leader.
This interviewer has my respect he had some intense questions and never over spoke
Ikr. There were times I forgot it was interview and thought it was just him talking to a camera about his life experiences.
the poor interviewer had to ask his questions really fast before Nikki went on one of his long stories. Nikki's advise on money saving is so true tho
The 50/30/20 plan is in Elizabeth Warrens book.
Nikki Sixx seems like a solid dude. Interviewer did a great job of asking questions and getting out of the way.
I have watched this interview several times. .it's so good! Nikki is so down to earth. Learned a lot and Damn does Nikki look good!!! I'm jealous!
been in love with The Crue since I was like 8 yrs old. love me some nikki sixx baby! thanks for the interview :-)
QueenTakesKing ! Same my dad played Them in the car all the time every day when he pick me up from school
Interesting seeing an interview like this from him. He's got some amazing looks on life! He's inspirational to people without even trying. Great interviewer too!
What a great interviewer. He clearly did his research about his guest and gave him time to tell his story. Good job!
This interviewer was amazing!
This was one of the best interviews ive seen he is such an amazingly inspirational human. May we all listen....really hear his message😊
ure fooled
One of my heroes, he is just a badass! I love Nikki Sixx!
What do they mean of "two lives"? Im not gonna watch 30 minute video just to find out, since ur a friend can you help me?
This interviewer did such a great job facilitating a rich, meaningful conversation with a complex, intelligent artist. Perfect timing, dignified questions, word!
You just taught me how to save 20% of my income and live on the rest thank you Sixx
Theres so much inmerso strenght and will power to overcome addiction
Once an addict, always an addict...
I'm glad to see the good comments on the page after reading negative .how could anybody say anything bad about sixx am ,it's his way of reaching out to every addict out there. it would be impossible for him to talk to us all like he wish he could.
Damn straight Freddie Mercury is a great songwriter! The best! Well said Nikki Sixx! He is a great conversationalist. Such a good interview. Glad I came across this on YT.
Great interview. Thank you for posting. I can never get enough of Nikki's thoughts or comments. A brilliant guy who has a kind heart and an academic's mind.
I come from a shattered family too, lost my dad when I was 3, living through the whole Motley Crue era I never knew how much in common I have with these guys. I'm devouring anything and everything I can get about them now.
Nikki is a very down to earth dude and has a lot of life experience ...great interview
im a country singer, but this was the best interview i have ever watched. i learnt so much from an older head and one of the greats of music. ill be watching this a few more times and taking notes. he is defiantly one of my inspirations now.
Props to the interviewer. Maybe the best interview ive seen in a long time.
Wow just wow! I never expected such an insightful interview. I work underprivileged kids and I am going to borrow stuff I heard here. Nikki Sixx explained what a man is and can be. Thank you for the interview!
Excellent interview. Thanks for letting him talk without interruption.
Friggin Nikki Sixx Knew i loved this dude for a reason
As a Crue fan, as a Sixx AM fan and as a singer/songwriter, that was extremely enlightening!!!
Thank You!!!
Interesting and refreshing to listen to him -- how lucid, intelligent, expressive, articulate and personable he is.
Lmao I’m here in 2020 they’re still touring 😂 “last show”
IKR ?!? Although their tour has been postponed until '21, because of Rona. Got my tickets though!
@@Sherralyn enjoy vince his wack voice😂😂🤨
@@svt9851 I love Motley. I have since the 80's. All of us are getting older together. I'll still pay good money to listen to Vince's "wack voice". Don't like it.. don't go
Ikr!!!? Going to see them in 2021!!! So excited!
damn they aren’t coming to my city 😭
Wow, what a great interview. I didn't expect to sit and watch all 30 minutes. Nikki has had an interesting life, that's for sure. Glad he's still with us
Rock on Nikki thanks for that interview peace and love.
Loved how the director didn’t get into the close up shots until later in the interview. Added a lot of tension to the conversation. Nikki is the best!
I was an average Crüe fan. Not my favorite from back in the day. I liked a lot if their songs but was not OMG Motley Crüe! But I always liked Nikki. Then I met him. 2000 showed up to an autograph party and they let 100 in. I got lucky. So me and three of my friends go in, meet the guys and Nikki and Tommy were so nice. Been a huge Nikkie fan all along. Then came Sixx A.M. I fell in love with them and they are one of three bands that tie for #1 on my favorite band list. I love the different sound of them although I can hear a minuscule amount of the Crüe in a few songs. Must be the bass. Long live Sixx A.M.! Love you Nikki, DJ and James!
You know a man is mentally grown when he can sit down and tell you his story. Full respect
Such a strong and amazing man. He rose from the bottom to the top! A inspiration for all! Love ya Nikki, thanks for all the great music!
I’m 23 and I’m just now learning about rock/metal and groups like Motley Crue. I’ll say this group so far has been the most inspirational for me when it comes to where they came from and how successful they become to be. Love this group and I love listening to their music
Had a crush on Nikki my entire life.
Cool
Your book and album combined changed my life. Pulled me out of the darkest of places. Thank you for your raw honesty. Been a Sixx AM fan ever since 🖤
He speaks so intelligently and it's obvious he wrote all the songs. You cannot have a successful band without the nice lyrics.
My mother used to be a dancer and go to concerts all the time when she was in her and she's met a ton of celebs.
Nikki was one of them, and she said he was very nice.
Lies of the beautiful people,I so love this song
You know I really thought that Nikki and Tommy just thought they were to good for anyone and WOW I am impressed with how genuine you are. Never knew how sweet of a person you are. God bless you dude. You are the MASTER
Nikki is so wise and humble.
I want to invite him to a dinner party. That’s weird, right??
Hell no not weird. He is fascinating. He is real. He is articulate ...and so well spoken (compared to tommy might and day - lol no offense tommy)!
Not at all...I'd invite him too if I had one ☺
LizzEeee E honestly me if I was famous
