She was so funny when she almost convinced two English-speaking guys it would be a good idea to add the -ing form to past tense as well. I don't know where she got it from because they don't have it in Norwegian.
Aurora is so unassuming. She's said many times she doesn't really get embarrassed, because she doesn't really care what people think about her.
In some of her shows where she didn't have a lot of rehearsals, she's forgotten lyrics, and she just asks the audience for help like it's no big deal. Zero embarrassment.
Normally, people who don't care what others think about them are complete jerks, but she's one of the sweetest, most caring people around. I'm over 60, and I've literally never seen anyone like her.
she totally mastered the art of not giving a fvck haha, and i agree she doesn't use that skill and makes herself look like an asshole because she doesn't go "i can insult anyone because i don't care about their feelings" she's more of a "i don't care if i made a mistake and embarrass myself im a human after all, just like everyone else"
The difference betwern her and the jerks are, she doesnt care about what people might do to/think of her, but she still cares abt the safety and comfort of the people, while jerks just dont care abt anything
Forgetting some lyrics has even become her trademark. Like it's not a real Aurora concert if she at least ones forgets her lyrics, or loses the point of a story she is trying to make.
Yes she is like A Special Born Human. I'm 57' and was quite struck with her. Have been a Member for awhile of her Fab. Group. We need start listening more to Special People.
She's a feminist, and she understands the concept of normalising things. These things only catch people off guard because they're taboo, and they can only remain taboo while we don't acknowledge them. Also different cultures have different concepts of what is socially acceptable right?
definitely :) thanks for the comment!
Hmm. But saying everything that you do, even the most private things like "i like to masturb*te", on an interview seems to be....a bit much?
Idk, like that doesn't really need to be said. No one really asked for that. No one really needed to hear that. Some people WOULDN'T have wanted to hear that.
Like, keep those thing to yourself?
@@voverf9399 It is a normal thing that people do in their private time, of course. But not everyone likes to unveil what they do in their private time as it's something correlated to intimacy, especially when it's on a public platform or in the public eye. And not everyone gives a shit about what you do in your private time as this subject brings nothing interesting or constructive to a conversation, specifically when you are talking to strangers. Some things are simply not subjects that people want to talk about or care to listen, as it is on a more intimate level. If all a person has to tell me about themselves is that they masturbate, that person is a really boring and bland person with a pretty pathetic life.
"I reckon you would've felt less uncomfortable if it was a man admitting he masturbates, which is entirely the point of normalising mastrubation for women.".... Why did i even bother to counter your weird statement... it's obvious you tried to reach for shit and all you wanted was to stir up a discord :))) You are either extremely and utterly dumb enough to miss the point and not have social awareness (never seen someone with lower than 0 social awareness) to talk about this kind of stuff, or you are a simpleton troll...
@@voverf9399 haven't we normalised masturbation for both men and women? Especially in Western Countries?
@@voverf9399 and No! I would've felt the same way if a man just said he masturbates in a formal interview.
I know most of us do, and even if you don't, I don't need to hear about it unless I was specifically asking.
I love how engaged she is when she is having a conversation with a stranger. She is talking to you like you're an old friend of her. She has no filter, she is an open book. As you said, she brings you into her chaotic thought process. I've always been a bit strange and I had to filter myself in order to assimilate myself in different social contexts and be included. I find it refreshing that she has such a strong personality that she is flipping it the other way : she is forcing people to adapt themselves to who she is. Not in a bad way because she is acting very lovely and friendly and she is amused when you look uncomfortable. She is amused in a nice way, not in a bad way. She's the perfect match for an introvert person who needs a caring friend who will allow him or her to be themselves shamelessly and learn how to disregard people's judgement.
She is herself 100% Thanks for the comment!
i love people that have no filter they r so dam brutally honest
I'm that introvert person, bet I'd get along with her well lol
Myself being autistic, she's the kind of person I'd love to unmask and remove my filter around
@@simeondawkins6358 I had once such crush, she was quite too brutal in my opinion. Kept taunting me a solid 20 minutes in between the normal conversation (because apparently my room was not as tidy as it should be). So later I communicated to her that it made me a bit uncomfortable and she duly apologised, on the same night I asked her to be my gf. But unfortunately she was not into dating atp.
@@beactivebehappy9894 U met her and she was mean to u?
I'm autistic and this interview reminded me of so many interactions I've had throughout my life. People ask me questions and I answer honestly, and it seems like often they aren't prepared for the type of answer I give and it gets awkward. Or else I'm suddenly aware of a shift in their tone or body language and now I'm not sure if they're being genuine or making fun of me... It has long been presumed that autistic people just don't communicate well, but the reality is that we tend to communicate in ways that most people don't expect, and they don't know how to react. I love seeing Aurora's thought process flow through this conversation. The details she includes in her stories paint a picture for all the senses, and she shares seemingly mundane things about her life that make you feel like you already know her.
this reminds me of my communication style too!!! I'm glad another autistic person picked up on this.. i mean she said her bookcase/shelf smelled and I didn't see anything weird about that comment, but apparently, most people don't have strong sensory preferences??
I’m quite sure she’s autistic. I am also so I can pick the traits. Especially when I’ve seen her talk about childhood. She was extremely sensitive to what was happening around her when she was a child and preferred to stay home. Interesting watching how these men are reacting to her as if it’s so unusual but not necessarily in the autistic world. Of course she has a really high IQ.
I'm autistic too and that comment is spot on omgg!!!
Came here to also say that I'm autistic and hugely relate to the way that all of her interview conversations seem to go! You described it so perfectly here. :)
My first thought when I listened to this was it would be so awesome to get her and Greta Thunberg into conversation. The level of raw honesty and a unique sense of humor...
Totally agree, Aurora's very unique and has an interesting free way of speaking, she's the same way in her performances. She listens very well, definitely would love to see more Aurora reactions, she's wonderful. Takes a very special person to allow oneself to understand her nature.
You have revealed the most important reason why people are so enamored with her - it's because she puts her heart out for others to see. I think she cares so much for others that she is willing to do this. Also, she has said that she does not feel embarrasment or shame or things like that. This could also be why she lets people in...
She's awesome
@@maxpbeaumont i relate to her so much! Wish i could be her friend!
As an Australian I can say that these guys are a bit infantile but they were completely awed by her despite their uncomfortability. I know one of them has a little crush on her but is just uncertain how to handle her. They were certainly not mocking her and their laughing is only at their own discomfort not at her. I know that they find her extremely delightful as I listen to this radio station a lot.
Fair enough!
I totally felt like that was the case and never thought either of them were talking in bad taste. I felt the guy with the glasses and hat had a bit of a crush haha but I may be wrong. But shit I have a crush on her and I'm straight and married :)
beat me to it lol. anyone who doesn't have a crush on aurora just doesn't know about her, i think
The guy with the ripped jeans is most certainly uncomfortable, judging her, and being little condescending. As an autistic I know that look on his face and people who look at me like that never treat me with respect in the long run. They are polite in a situation like this, a small dose of conversation, but if you spent a lot of time with them they end up being cruel to you.
I'm autistic, and the way I communicate when I feel comfortable with the person is pretty much the same as Aurora. It's so refreshing to see someone talking positively about how she communicates, because people who aren't close friends usually get weirded out by the way I do, and I have to constantly hide who I am. (Tbh I was fully expecting him to just say "it's wrong, she shouldn't be so honest, she's way too weird, blah blah blah" like most people do, so I'm pleasantly surprised.)
:) thx for your comment
Aurora is also autistic
@@rosariofloridia6882 Has she ever confirmed it? I know I looked it up a couple years ago and she never said anything about it.
@@muustyx actually she said it in an interview
The first time I watched this I thought she was unfiltered in how she answered. But this time through, I want to say she thinks lightning quick and chooses her answers carefully. The way she considered the interviewers’ reactions and determined their interest levels so fast was fascinating. And she still stayed true to herself (from what I can tell, I’ve never heard of her before today). Eloquently quirky! 🙃
Loving the edits, you and Alex are quite the team!
Thanks!! And agreed -- she is lightning quick!
Eloquently quirky is such a good way of putting it. Teamwork makes the dreamwork!! ( & you're totally on the team too!!) - Alex
@@maxpbeaumont aw, I feel special! Thanks!
@@maxpbeaumont What make it exceptional is that she is not communicating in her natural language (Norwegian).
Yeah, she definitelly wanted to give these guys a push. But the were just so closed off.
As a person with ADHD/ASperger i find Auroras mind to be really calming and inspiring. Her mind seems to be on a similar wavelength as mine.
Hello, I just wanted to make sure you are aware that aspergers is a outdated and harmful term?
Yes! Same here!
Well she is autistic so you're spot on. :)
TOTALLY AGREE! I am mostly like this at work... random references, philosophical topics at 6am... practically no filter. Some filter but not a lot left. So I totally have similar thoughts and such! So refreshing 😌
Pretty much why she did the "i don't need a cure for me" song.
They aren't really uncomfortable, this is the second time they have interviewed Aurora. It is just that her unique charm turns them into giggling schoolboys (it would have the same affect on me and I'm 65). Aurora is intelligent, wise, honest, caring and genuine and don't forget, this interview is not in her first language, so that is even more impressive. It is all her qualities that have accumulated over 5 million subscribers on UA-cam and her videos have over 900 million views on her channel alone. Then there are all of her performances at music festivals and her own concerts all over the world which vastly increases her fan base on a daily basis.
She's not honest. She is a performer, painting a picture of herself. It's not real. She poses as she doesn't care what people think of her - the opposite is true. Just look at the way she dresses. She desperately want to be viewed as special and weird, to make up for her feeling of insignificance and helplessness. Maybe now she is confident in that and maybe she even believes it. But it's still just a play.
@@YellowKing1986 nah, she`s always been weird and her producers tried to make her more mainstream some years back. You obviously don`t know enough about her.
@@rowaystarco I get that she's not an actress, the persona is not deliberate, it is just revealing. I don't need to know more about her, all the people who are stylizing themselves to look extravagant have this feature in common. I know, because I was one of them. A lot of my friends back then were like that. All of us were hurt, confused kids looking for approval we didn't get at home growing up. We needed to embrace our weirdness and try to own it - when we just had to realize we are not that weird. There is no reason for her to act and look like this other than grab your attention. And it works, she has her charm - but that is probably because she is attractive, and I'm a man, and I learned that such feels should not interfere with any asessment about the person in question, so she gains no points for that. Imagine she would look like an old hag, wearing something very ordinary. You wouldn't even stick around to hear her introduce herself.
Plus: I don't believe her in the slightest that she is not watching herself sing. Just look at her. This person is obsessed with how she looks like. And what other people think about her. She posture all the time that she is the opposite of that. It is simply a lie to make you like her. She HAS to listen to it, and to watch it, to analyze, learn, prepare the next piece. She would be incredibly unwise if she didn't watch and listen to her own stuff. It just has to be a lie. Think about how easily it came to her to lie about it. I bet you didn't even notice. It's the same with any other celebrity - when cameras are running, they're working on their brand.
@@YellowKing1986 What a crap attempt at amateur psychology but a great show case of ignorance, prejudice and perhaps your own insecurities. 1/ You have no idea what you what you are talking about and you have obviously not watched many of Aurora's performances, interviews, Tik Tok posts, meetings with fans and most importantly what people who have met her and know her have said. 2/ Aurora dresses to suit herself. If you bothered to look, you would find that her dress style (and hairstyle) has changed a few times in the past seven years as she has visited more places and been influenced by different types of clothing. She also wears the same clothes on stage and off and one of her sisters, Viktoria, works with her designing and selecting her clothing. 3/ There are millions of people who disagree with you. Aurora is authentic, her own creation, not a marketing image constructed by management or a large record company. PS Some advice. Considering that you seem unable to discern the difference between what is real and what is fake, make sure that you don't respond to any emails you get from Nigeria, Russia or Albania that may seem to have tempting offers.
@@YellowKing1986 O K. Take home message: you make assumptions based on your own bias.
No clue who she was until now. She is so charming. Love her so much!!
Knew you would :)
Listen to her music. It's beautiful.
I highly recommend checking out her music❤️
I'm almost certain Aurora is on the Autism spectrum, with her way of communication, not always being sure if the people are joking, saying very unexpected things, clearly pays a lot of attention on sensory things etc. She manages to show all the positives of Autism, instead of the "disorder" side of it we hear so often of. How one can be genuine, living in the moment, appreciate themselves, having interesting ideas, not worrying what others think about you. I relate to her a lot and love someone like me for once being portrayed in the positive light in the media.
she is yeh
Yes she is, she mentioned it on the 'Hike' video
@@fufu9889 I've seen a couple people mention that, but have never been able to find an actual clip of her saying that, while many other sources say that she has never mentioned it and that she isn't. Do you have a link to a clip of her actually staying that she is?
@@adognamedmiley6848 watch the HAIK documentary she states it in there
I'm almost convinced too - that or at least neurodivergent in some way, like maybe ADHD (ADHD here) because yeah she DOES exhibit so many neurodivergent traits of either or both. Whether it's Autism or ADHD or both, she has a lot of the same traits as us and she seems to ping a LOT of Autistics "Au-dar" (as one Autistic commenter put it)
I really believe that either way, the reason she exhibits SO MUCH confidence about herself despite always being labelled weird/quirky/eccentric is because she wasn't discouraged and rejected by her family and most of her peers in her community growing up, so she never acquired the trauma that often comes with being neurodivergent, and never really learned to mask her traits much, if at all. She comes across as a non-traumatised neurodivergent and that explains a big part of her confidence and a big part of her lack of embarrassment about her "oddities". if we weren't traumatised due to neurotypicals treating us horribly because of our neurodivergence, way more of us would be like this too and have the confidence she has.
This is the power of what true acceptance can do for a neurodivergent growing up, and it's a beautiful thing to witness how it shaped her as a person ❤️
Never heard of Aurora before. Definitely going to look for more. She is so fascinating and I love how she tells stories. The guy in the red did seem uncomfortable, which I find odd in someone who interviews people for a living. Shouldn't he be more open to meeting different types of people? Or be professional enough not to show his discomfort? I think there were times she was trying to get a reaction from him or just checking to see how he was reacting. I don't know if it was because she was irritated by his response to her or entertained. I definitely need to watch this entire video.

Aurora is a storyteller, so it’s important to listen to the lyrics 👍😍
Aurora is a sweet heart, I'm sure she was genuinely acting interested in what they had to say. but she is a bit cheeky so who knows, haha. But in all seriousness she is so caring and empathetic, I am so sure she just wanted to hear what they had to say.
You have a lot of great music coming to you if you haven’t heard her before. Enjoy!

I'm pretty sure she was just messing with them and enjoying it. I've watched a lot of her interviews. I wouldn't say she wasn't annoyed by their reaction to her, but she definitely wasn't angry about it and definitely was curious about it.

Aurora is literally mother nature
Even off stage and in an interview setting Aurora can control the room with just her honesty, random thoughts and open communication and true engagement.
I think she sensed that the interviewers were going to be fun to play with so she basically took all filters off, something she regularly does.
Aurora has autism 💜 She’s very pure of heart. I love her 🧚♂️
That was fun. I'm a big Aurora fan, so I've seen this interview multiple times. I love your analysis. I think the biggest thing you can take away from Aurora is that she is so genuine. Even though she's playing a bit here, she's never phony. She doesn't really care how she comes across. Any sarcasm or whatever is just for fun. She's not trying to impress anyone. Her authentic personality is a big part of why she's so loved.
Absolutely!!!
Very true. She's incredible open!
Omg this is so exciting to watch because she's definitely unique, in the way she communicates and her personality overall! It's clear the interviewers weren't ready for her haha. She's very nice and sweet but I can see why someone who's maybe more closed off can feel uncomfortable in her presence if they're not used to her because she genuinely wants to form a connection to her interlocutors, she's always honest and open, and has a subtle sense of humour.
Yes, this is one of her more playful interviews. I don't think the guys meant to be disrespectful, just totally thrown by her straight forward unconventional comments. She can be very deep, spiritual and insightful (way beyond her years) with the right interviewers who are more interested in her lyrics and her passions such as mental health, the environment and LGBTQ rights. I would definitely love to see you react to more of her interviews. There is a wonderful one (in Norwegian with English subtitles) from a TV show where you see more facets of her amazing personality. I believe you can find it under the title - Aurora on her bipolar sister and why we all should be excused | English subtitles | SVT/TV 2/Skavlan
Look up her return. Aurora carrots pit nicking. It's one of the best interviews.
This is the first interview I saw of her and I became an instant hardcore fan
I didn't know anything about her but I assumed that she is from North Europe somewhere. Not just because her looks but I think her way of reading other people is something I see a lot of nordic people do. Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish have all sort of straight forward way of talking and body language + tone of voice play big role in conversations, I think. I really like her, it would be lovely to listen her more!
Yup she's from Norway
I had a hard time guessing her age at first because in other interviews she almost has a child like innocence in the way her facial expressions are so exaggerated, and inflection in her voice, but the more I saw of her, and in various situations, I saw how creative she was, and ignores the supposed social norms of what general conversations usually patterned after. I love she is into forest mythology and can relate to her on many levels there. When the Aussies said yowies, they are Forest and bush beings in Australia that are basically like our bigfoot in the US, and that's why she leaned forward, she probably already knows this, and more about it than these guys interviewing her, that red coat guy came across like a weirdo trying to make her look uncool, and she is anything but.
Your analysis caught my eye because I am struggling to understand why her music causes such a strong emotional reaction in myself. I find her fascinating to watch whether an interview or a performance. I find myself teary and flooded with emotion and a general sense of well being. As a biologist I ask myself what would cause this reaction? The release of oxytocin can cause these feelings, produced in the hypothalamus and secreted by the pituitary, involved in forming bonds, romantic, maternal and apparently paternal. She is somehow accessing this system. We all do this on some level but she seems to have perfected the process. Still trying to figure it out any insight you might have would be interesting to me.
Thank you for sharing. My sense is because it doesn't seem like she has any walls up or pre-tenses -- she doesn't seem to be calculated in any way. The way she reacts, thinks and articulates seems to be from a place of true authenticity. I think when people really show us who they are -- no masks and no walls -- it allows us to actually feel connected with them. I think it triggers something deep in us, something deeply human, relatable and real. I don't have a scientific answer, but I think that her openness (and your ability to almost 'feel' who she is because of that) is why you're being flooded with emotion.
My ultra-cheap analysis is that we all perceive a very young girl, with childish traits and also childish spontaneity, without reservations and defenses... like listen to your little nephew's free associations of ideas. So we are inclined towards her with an attitude of total expectation of what we can still expect from the next wise/strange/awkward declaration. We do not place any defense or filter between us and her, so we are totally exposed to her utterances, which she offers us with charm and calmness. The result is that we are instantly caught up in the imprinting of this free Nordic being.
Sorry for my english :D
@@walterF205 this is an excellent take

You just reminded me of a video I saw yesterday that you may find interesting. It's called “The Sound That Will Change Your Brain In 10 Minutes” on Video Advice YT channel.
At the end there I do think she leaned like that on purpose because they didn't know how to react, I feel like would do that!
The way she expresses herself is indeed very unique
😱 😍 OMG, thank you for doing this! She is a wonderful human being and a great artist 💖
Aurora did a cover song called Teardrop for these guys. They gave her a little teasing regarding something inconsequential. I think she was focused on this interview because she has an excellent memory and enjoyed making them lose their focus. Check out the full video to get my point if you care to. She is awesome.
thx for the recco!
She thinks the same way as me, so her conversations are very easy for me to follow and it’s one of the reasons I love her so much. But it is clear in many of her interviews that the interviewers are uncomfortable - you can see just in the way they are sitting compared to her that Aurora is comfortable and they aren’t. Which is a little sad because she would be one of the most lovely people to talk to, and definitely doesn’t mean to make people uncomfortable, she’s just being herself 🥰🧡
till now I've only listened to her music and i decided to watch this because i love max and i thought she would be an interesting person(based on her songs)
but i didn't know it'd be like that!
she's so unique
the fandom is big so i suppose someone already made a luna reference (from Harry Potter)
She's amazing
I as a very straightforward Estonian can understand her. I am also very honest and straightforward by nature. Maybe its northern europeans thing. And i think she's just a nature child and connects deeply with nature and gets her inspiration from there
Aurora is highly intelligent and, as one say, a true emphat. She feels exactly what is going on and everything you have said about blue jeans, she has perceived it that way. She also felt that blue jeans don't take her seriously and tries to make fun at her expense to distract from his own discomfort. From that point on, she stuck to the truth, as she always does, but trolled him. The leaning forward at the end is the highlight of it.
She, who likes to keep people at a physical distance, leans forward. She exhausts the fact that he becomes more and more insecure. He didn't take her seriously and that was the receipt. She also didn't like the fact that he interrupted her at the beginning, when it was about sexual stuff. She is a person who likes to talk freely and enlightening about it and finds it unhealthy to make taboos. The most natural in the world. These two here she smokes in the pipe. There are interviews on youtube, podcasts with her where you can really see how profound, intelligent, speaking at a high level she really is. On issues that are close to her heart, such as nature, sexuality in all forms, equality.
Sry not my main language
Thanks for doing Aurora! her interviews are super entertaining, she's so unique. Would love to see more of her.
Loved it... Do more Aurora Interviews... Plzzzzzzzzzzzz... she is truly a unique human...

Hi, my hobby is human behavioral. I´m also a person on the spectrum with a library of memory . I just love Aurora, she is straight and "clean". What she say is who she is. To you all, be who you are.
as an autistic person, i really appreciate these videos because communication skills aren't my strongest trait and these have helped me sound more natural and genuine when i talk
as a huge aurora fan, i'm so glad you did this!! i've always wondered what makes her sound so genuine in interviews (and this is just feeding my obsession lol)
I think she is autistic too but she doesn't like labels and didn't get a proper diagnosis as a kid even though she was faced with the choice to get medicated with ADHD. I'm glad her parents let her be.
as an autistic person myself, aurora strikes me as having autism (i know this is not confirmed) but it kinda explains a lot for me in terms of her communication style. I feel like it's very similar to mine, and you can notice how focused and present in the conversation she is and it's very different from the neurotypical communication style of laid back, not really focused chit chat
I could listen to this young lady sing or talk for days. She is so interesting, free, humble and yes, a little out there sometimes. I love her sense of humor and how much she just doesn't care what people think of her. I wish I saw the world the way Aurora does. It's nice to just listen to her speak, and her music is fabulous. If you haven't checked it out yet, I hope you do. Her live performances are mesmerizing. If you decided to check her out, check out her concert at Nidarosdomen. It is on UA-cam. It's amazing. And yes, she does have a very dedicated following. Her fans are called Warriors and weirdos.
omg yessss thank you for reacting to her!! please do more to her!
I freaking love your thoughts/commentary. So spot on and refreshing from someone who isn't necessarily her fan. This makes my day hearing you say she seems genuine in a way, because that is one of the reasons I love her so much (despite her amazing music but I know that's not the topic)
She's easy to love in my opinion
Aurora is a very honest and earnest person. She reminds me a lot of myself and how I speak and connect with others. I have a few different techniques I use when people get uncomfortable with me being myself. Humor is the fastest and easiest but if that fails I try to invite them to be honest and connect with me more deeply by communicating that I will not judge them or push them away. I think she was doing this towards the end. She often talks about how important it is to her to be yourself no matter what and allow others to do the same.
Not you reacting to my favorite singer like sksjksjskss
Thank you so much!!! She is such an interesting person, like she was made by a tree or smth

She might get a kick out of subverting expectations when she talks about masturbation, sex, and macabre topics because she knows she gives the impression of innocence. She might think it’s funny that talking about deep issues and the thoughts that come into her head unnerve people, but she’s consistent with her communication, it’s not something she turns on and off for fun.
This is an example of Aurora being comfortable with the interviewers as she had met them a couple of years ago during her first performance. I believe they have a very genuine fascination with Aurora, not only with her musical talent but as an artist that does not prescribe to typical notions of fame and stardom. They don't need to worry about bruised egos and she intentionally challenges them to defy convention. While this is Aurora in a playful light, she offers much more substance on serious issues such as climate change, gender/sexual rights, conversion therapy, and generally defending the defenseless. I have watched several interviews (here on YT) where she is extremely articulate (with English being a secondary language), knowledgeable and often speaking out on injustices; but always with the grace, respect and empathy to be a force for positive change. I think these interviews are worth your time.
man 10/10 for the editing 😭👏
Credit to my gf :)
Thank you so much! I got to know Aurora via this video 4 month ago and she has been a real inspiration to me since.
That's so cool! Thanks for coming back on here to let me know :) She's amazing.
She is genuine and honest and also big troll at the same time
that is just her.....simplistic and childlike and more real life fairy than people. she is a treasure we her fans protect and cgerish and that is also what she does for her fans
Aurora is just so awesome.
My goddess aurora 💖 thank you for watching her interview , i love how her personality shines and being authentic
I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
I just realized my communication skills are a match to hers, cus I don't filter and i intimidate people with my free thoughts
Love her uniqueness. Love everybody's uniqueness. Don't hide your ✨️
I would love to see more of your reactions to Aurora! Very nice video! Loved it!
yes more aurora pleaseee
Aurora has this magic gift where she wraps people around her finger in 3 sentences. I love her for it!
Aurora reminds me of a flower child of the 60s. (I'm sure none of your followers will quite know what I'm talking about) Her sincerity and sweetness obviously made the ripped-jean guy very uncomfortable, and I think he's a jerk for how he reacted to her - almost mockingly. Thanks for posting this great review, and I loved all the new communication tips. Now, I'm going to listen to her music! xo
Let me know what you think about her music!
I agree about aurora but wouldn't call the guy a jerk. Some people don't know better or aren't prepared. It didn't seem like he meant harm to her and it may just be his personality/sense of humor in how he acted, which wasn't offensive, just weird and awkward. He's not necessarily a bad person, just naïve. Aurora is so caring and accepting, I'm sure she'd totally understand how he acted or at least be empathetic about it. She is a class act and very special. She does not like hat being spewed out for no reason and that's a fact.
@@maxpbeaumont She has a sweet voice, but not one of my favourite musical artists. I actually preferred listening to to her speaking than singing. She's smart and funny with a great sense of humour that seems to be misunderstood by the interviewers.
@@Elkashe she has quite a diverse repertoire as a singer/songwriter, so definitely check out her live performances -- KEXP 2018 (CHURCHYARD and ALL IS SOFT INSIDE, with Bjork in the audience), Nidarosdomen (a cathedral with orchestral ensemble and choir): impressive performances of THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD and LUCKY, and the iconic HAIK concert she performed in a forest! Music videos like THE SEED and CURE FOR ME! She does great live covers of Bowie, Massive Attack, Leonard Cohen, Boney M and others!
@@kippys1 thanks, I'll check it out. Appreciate the recommendations. :)
oh my god!! i didn't expect you to analyse her but i'm so glad you did!
hoo my !!! I'm so happy to see you react to Aurora ! She is one of my favorite artist and, generaly speaking, human being in this planet ! Wish you to find interest in continuing this journey of discovering what kind of a human she is :)
As someone who's always been treated as different and bullied for that, she's a role model for me. She's unapologetically genuine, like as she doesn't know that she's "weird", but at the same time she's very aware of how others may see her and would never let people make fun of her. She handles judging people in a really elegant way honestly, being proud of who she is makes them uncomfortable, not the other way round
Amazing analysis!! Awesome how you could quickly pick up on the changing atmosphere and interpret the body language. Very sharp. Keep up the awesome content buddy! Definitely earned a sub. Cheers
Appreciate that!!
I could listen to her interviews all day. She’s entrapping ☺️. I enjoyed your analysis!
Aurora is so pure
she is my favorite person alive 💕
Your video and channel just randomly popped up and this is just the thing that I needed in my life! Learning about communication skills!
Self expression is a big lesson for me to learn in. Cool cool! I think Aurora was a great person to start learning with, I think she’s a beautiful person. Thank you for the analysis and I’m gonna check out more of your videos
She is just so charming! Her Voice is like a charming fairy! Her innocence so refreshing. Thank you for sharing!
OMGG loved this reaction please do moreee
I love her unique personality type, the genuine, blunt, tell-you-how-it-is and not saying what they think you want to hear. It’s great. They tend to offend half the people they come across, but the other half absolutely loves them.
…but she says things, that would normally take a great amount of courage and humility for an average person to say, and does it voluntarily so easily. Instant RESPECT. Your a [ ] If you get OFFENDED.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Auroraaa. please react more to her, Sir. there are plenty of interviews. my favorite ones are with NME. the interviewer is so good with her, they're like friends and she seems so comfortable. oh, she's such a unique person. like no other artists i've ever known. And oh I dont think she's messing with them, I think that's just how she is. isnt she adorable? :)) thank you for reacting to her, can't wait to see more 😆
“A person like this, I feel like they have a strong, dedicated following,” of course she does, I saw her face on a thumbnail, clicked on it, liked the video and subscribed to the channel.
I am seen this interview at least 1000 thousand times and I NEVER THOUGHT about the interviewers and how they could have been uncomfortable but then having a greater incite of Aurora's mind! THANK YOU! THIS WAS COOL
9:16 Yes.
Also, my friend and me think she just sprinkles her impulsive/intrusive thoughts around like fairy dust, and she makes it acceptable because she is an adorable person who presents her TMI thoughts in an equally adorable way. We love her and I love her courage to be so authentic ❄️🧚🏼♀️
In a world where masks can often hide our true selves, I find it refreshing to listen to her. I choose to celebrate the beauty of honesty and genuine connections. Imagine a place where authenticity shines like a beacon, pretenses are left behind, and our interactions are rooted in sincerity. I prefer a world filled with real connections, heartfelt conversations, and a genuine understanding of one another.
Stumbled upon this video of yours and wow I think she's my soul sister? This sounds like me in a typical conversation, I often weird people out with my enthusiasm. Quite refreshing seeing another person confidently being themselves. Thanks for the video!
i agree & thanks for watching!
I think it has to do with her being in the moment and not only noticing the little thing like the smell of a bookshelf but appreciates it. She also seems to speak truthfully and openly. Admirable. I would love to be her friend in real life.
She is her own person. Watching her perform a piece of music visually and verbally is refreshing. I don't recall someone being as captivating and genuinely connected to every movement, sound, and emotion.
Only 2 minutes In and glad i found you. doubt it is something i would of looked up and your so spot on. So far.. Itzz Aurora.
From videos i have seen of her talking to her fans, its incredible to watch. I saw one video where she was holding hands with a fan and staring into their eyes and nodding while they talked without breaking eye contact. She listens to every word and thinks about it very deeply.
It is so validating to hear that there are great qualities about her communication style. I've definitely received some similar reactions from a similar type of person, usually male, and it's hard not to feel like the fault lies within me in those situations. I like that she's able to sit with--and possibly play with--their puzzled reactions. I like that we can't really tell for sure. Mischief and playfulness and curiosity are beautiful traits to possess.
i think one of my favourite traits about humans is genuine curiosity :)
Fascinating video. Isn't it amazing how some people react when faced with someone who has absolutely no filter? I have to check out who Aurora is, as I've never heard of her before. She seems to be a very original, unique thinker, and I like to see that in people - totally unafraid to be simply themselves.
Thanks Ian. And I’m totally with you. I’m inspired by people who are completely unafraid to be themselves.
@@maxpbeaumont Just wanted to add an update - I purchased her albums. Her music is nothing like anything I've listened to before, and it is superb!
shes a real person not fake in any way also shes very much herself and honest open also fearless to be herself she has high level of not give a shit :) adorable
this was soo good!
I actually look veerrryy much like Aurora and through that dove deeper and discovered we have very similar personalities. People either love me or I seem to almost scare them? It's not so intense, they just don't know what to make of me, but it's fear. It made me tear up when you noted their being uncomfortable because it just allowed me to see their reaction as neutral. And understandable. And what they don't understand is what just takes others to their core and makes them feel free, too. Love to you. Love to Aurora. Thank you.
Wow, it’s funny to see their reaction to her. I think she’s a breath of fresh air!
Dont know how to word this but I'll try my best. Ive been like Aurora all my life. Im a very free thinker and I notice the little things in life more than most people. Ive learned I might have ADHD and... She just makes me realize that my weird is okay. Like.. I dont mask as much anymore because of her teaching me its okay to be my weird self. Even if I make other people uncomfortable its a reflection of them not me. As long as Im not hurting anyone with my nonsense I will continue on being my weird self. Because its okay! I just think and observe differently then most! 💗✌😇 Love her very very much! I love this video and concept of the hidden communications in our bodies! Subscribed!! Hard subscribed!
That's so awesome :) Thanks for sharing! And glad you're here!
Ty !
that's a great comment! i have ADHD as well and I put so much energy into saying the right things and not appearing weird (and I've only realized it last year), so, masking in general and i feel like it tires me to the point where i can't really be creative because I'm just too tired. I think that Aurora is a great example of someone raised in a really tolerant and understanding environment and she didn't and still doesn't have to mask and it results in her being just an amazingly weird (in a good way) person. And I find it so inspiring and I'm a bit jealous that she feels so free to behave however she wants. And I definitely feel more inspired to stop being so hard on myself an just let it go!!
Its hard to let go but once you do it'll feel amazing! 💗
rewatching this interview years after im dying laughing at the guys faces hahha
:))
This is my first time seeing someone who can explain someone's behavior very properly, i agree with everything you say in this video. I've loved Aurora for quite long but never been able to put into words the reason why i adore her until i watched this. Indeed she is a very unique person also very humble and pure, she always want to listen to people and yes we don't see people like her very often
I would absolutely LOVE to have more than one conversation with her!
yeah, the interviewers was not emotionally ready for Aurora. She's sharp as a knife, have a Mensa test to prove it, and so curious on life in general. I love her so much!
She leans in and shortly afterwards the clip abruptly ends. But I don't think that was the end of the video. I think those two guys got more and more uncomfortable, not knowing how to respond to her. I think she leaned in because she wanted to make them stop messing with her. Her ability to communicate was far above theirs. I think in particular the guy with the ripped jeans was really closed off -- as you put it. I suspect they cut the clip deliberately.
Now, we're taking about a girl who started writing music when she was six. She didn't start writing lyrics until she was nine. She said herself that she wanted to write lyrics in english; so she had to wait until she was nine. (I don't know if she taught herself english in three years, but it sounds like it.) Anyway, those interviewers spoke english as a first language. She was speaking english as a second language, and she could still out think them, or communicate better than they could.
Check out her performance of her song "Runaway", a song she wrote when she was only eleven. She performed the song at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert. Listen to the lyrics of this song. She is a genius. Also, if you haven't, check out her cover of "Across the Universe" by the Bealtles. Well, if you've already listened to these songs I mentioned, or if you're already on top of the info, then may the farce be with you. Cheers!
I learnt so much from this. Thank you ❤
I'm so glad!
This person is so amazing
YES YES YES YES YES!!! I can’t believe I haven’t seen this yet. I have watched almost all of your Kpop stuff bc I’m a big kpop fan, but Aurora is my all time favorite artist
That’s awesome! She’s great.
She is amazing and beautiful inside and out, very honest and open 🥰
I enjoy Aurora’s music, and have enjoyed watching her speak and be interviewed, because I can see some of my “quirks” in her. A lot of the things she says and does that I see people call weird are things I find natural, or funny, or cute like she does. I’m also a creative person, though, and I think that’s probably why some people have called me weird over the years. (I’m cool with that - everyone is weird I their own way.) I interpreted the guy in ripped jeans as being uncomfortable, too, and it was hard for me to tell why, exactly. He almost seems uncomfortably shy, like he’s intimidated by her a bit.
