I feel like here E&C are the epitome of right person but wrong time.
I would have never expected to think that having privacy during your own LGBT awakening process to be a luxury but in Charlotte's case that's what it is, thanks to the fame actually happening all of the sudden she lost her right to discover herself at her own pace. She has been asked to justify every tiny thing she ever said or done, when in reality the majority of us in the queer community know how hard it can be to go through the self acceptance stage and actually how Big of a step it can be the first one to take into your first same sex relationship! The fact that so many in the fandom seems to be so dismissive of her own needs is pretty irritating to me, because we should be more sympathetic. As cheese as it can sound even in today's society be openly gay is a step by step path that can't be rushed or dictated by anyone else. So the one and only thing I will reproach to Engfa is the way she seems to need Charlotte to have a gf or something to be considered a "real" queer person. But I think that some of that came from a place of deep hurt so I will not take her dismissiveness as her real feeling on said matter. What I will not pass on is that that's also what Charlotte's haters keep saying to this day, because that's pure ignorance to me, that's the same logic homophobic people's use to try to convince the gays that they just need to find someone of the opposite sex or "try it" to change their own sexuality!
Engfa need all the hugs in the world, I will never understand how she can be both this genuinely hurt and still have all that other thing going on at the same time. I feel like she was on pure coping mechanism at the time so she got interested in someone that was giving her what she was lacking and that's ok, everyone has their own needs, only it is sad because it is clear as the day that she has stronger feeling for Charlotte than she has ever let out. I noticed that other than calling Charlotte consistently her sister she also has used a lot of humor while flirting. Most of the times, excluding when she gets serious in this live, when she talk with Charlotte I can notice the actual intention of seriously flirt but she cover it almost alway..be it say something and retract right after, or using her alter-ego persona to make it sound like a joke, or attaching the sister a second later or even flirting with someone else right after have said something to Charlotte, those are all things that I think added to the confusion and miscommunication between them.
Like you said so well, I will also never understand why some people think that it is their priority to have Englot becoming real, is not your life so just let them be. We all will be happy to see them together but dang don't make it sound like your life depends on it because in actuality it is a lie, you are not one of them so how can you act more slighted, hurt, angry or upset than they will ever be?!? Makes no sense 🤣

My biggest pet peeve is when people say C's "playing with E's feeling" and that she's "straight" ?!? As if her own words and feelings have no significance simply because she's not going all out like they want?! Same thing as people shipping Engfa with any and every breathing female that looks her way then saying they ship it cause "E deserves someone who's sure about her and what they want"...Bruh, she doesn't seem too sure herself?!?✊🏼🥲#relatable
They've said multiple times already that we never know what's ahead and that the right person will always be the right person, so can't we just let them be, enjoy what we get to witness(we are lucky they share so much to begin with) and go do something else other than wanting to control other people's life?
My POV: I think Engfa sometimes gets hopeful based on some of Char’s actions and words and then when Char retracts she does the same and changes her speech again as a protection mechanism and to avoid awkwardness between them given their working situation as well. I’m not surprised at all if she looks for a way out of her feelings by trying to feel it with someone else (Happened to me and didn’t really work as well 😂). If Charlotte went to her and clearly said “I want to be with you” Engfa would be all in. They both have their doubts and insecurities, only time will tell I guess 💕
I agree. That’s also why I wanted to tell people not to be surprised if Engfa does date around. Not only that but there’s nothing wrong with it if she’s single.
Engfa went from hurt to I gotta get this off my chest lol her true thoughts came to light in that live. I always knew she was just saying things to make Char feel comfortable. I wish i could mentor her because I can tell her experiences are not many. ❤
100000% I feel the same. That’s why I always try to help people that are struggling with their sexuality or those that are new to the community. It’s better to have someone to talk to that’s been through it already.
Her longest is 3 months🙄..she even said can't call it dating more like "talking" and she left her because she wasn't sure about herself.

Char will always be so hesitant because from the start shes painted Engfa as a flirt. It'll be hard to allow herself to break down that barrier, especially knowing many people want her!

I feel like after all of this things were so awkward up to the concert day and after that day things changed so freaking much. Felt like someone was driving car super fast from all of it, things snapped and car made a full on speed turn back.

Also as someone with depression/anxiety I know what she's feeling (loneliness) but looking for someone for that reason, will put on them your mentally stability even if you don't want to and that's never a good thing. I'm glad boss help her find a phycologist cause I feel she hold on to the first person who showed her interest in an intense/consistent way. I do believe that Engfa still have feelings for Charlotte, she got flustered with char when she was talking with this person and now she still does.
I hope in the future they can be more open and communicate better, maybe the series will help.

I reall like all the things you pointed out on the last part of your video. Hopefully the new fans can watch this. During this drama happened, many fans have turned their backs on both of them. Many were mad at CL and many have blamed Engfa as well, but like what you said their reactions were normal because they just reacted based on their perspective. And besides it was true that they made it clear from the start that they were only sisters. And as fans we have no right to force them to do things just to satisfy ourselves. ..again you did a great job on this. Thank you so much for your time and effort making this video.

I agree to all that you've said. When i first saw this video, i felt bad for the both of them. Engfa was hurt but im sure that it was not easy for Cl as well. This is indeed an emotional roller coster for both englot and fans. But like what you've said, this conflict must need to be done or else their friendship/relationship would be boring. Thank goodness i stayed and continuously supporting them...now they're making progress little by little.
Engfa is playing safe by calling her sister. But as the days goes by, developed her feelings n grows everyday most especially doing the series..💙

I think when Engfa asked Char who am to you that was her asking do you see me as more than a sister. And since Char didn’t make it clear Engfa put the label sister on her until it was more clear to her herself what she wanted Char to be. when something is not clear to us we tend to say anything that makes sense until it becomes more clear to us. *Does that make sense*

I think that Engfa categorizes themselves "sisters" because Charlotte uses this term even if we all know Engfa would like to have more than a sisters relationship, but I think Engfa is afraid that saying clearly she wants more to Charlotte, their relationship would not be as close as it is anymore, however I think Charlotte wants her to say it clear and she says by words that they are sisters but with behaviour we see something else. That's why I agree that they should tell clearly themselves what they feel... maybe they did but publicly they wants to stay "sisters" 🤔

Rewatching this again has made me confirm that Engfa and Charlotte were right for each but the timing was wrong. Somehow Engfa kind of predicted the future when she said "a don't like now may turn to alike next year. With what's happening right now, I have come to realize that we can never escape, outrun or fall behind destiny. It has to be right on the set time
I think Engfa wanted to say that Charlie is straight but couldn't say it directly.
It's not that you've date or haven't date a girl. Just one of Engfa's arguments that Charlie is straight that she has never date a girl = she does not have romantic feelings for her. After all, Charlie said she was open to LGBT people but being open is not equal to being part of LGBT. Maybe Charlie tried, but in the end there is nothing, she is straight. Engfa said this so that people would stop writing that Charlie was to blame. After all, Charlie can't be to blame, orientation is not chosen.

With new "characters" popping up out of(aparently) nowhere or suddenly gaining more "screen time", their song choices that seem to fit their situation like it was written just for them and other almost surreal things that happen to them makes me question that crazy theory of a simulation 🙃If I ever end up at an asylum, this will be one of the many pre-established reasons...The other one will be that I started believing I'm Rihanna, from how much I love the way they lie🤡
I was in this exact situation. And even the same ages. It was 10 yrs ago. I had never thought about my sexuality. I always like men but knew around my preteens that I found women very intriguing and beautiful. In my early 20's I started to feel that was in the LBGTQ+ community. So at 27 when a new secretary, 23 started working at the law firm I worked for, things changed. I was drawn to her immediately. Right away told myself, it was because I just wanted to know her and be friends. Turns out. She was just as draw to me, and we became friends almost instantly. Even very early on, discussing becoming roommates.
As the months went on, we started doing everything together, and coworkers took notices. She was always flirting with me. And in time I would flirt back. After a year and an ugly fight, we got into with her boss, she quit. The next day she tells me "When you are around, I only pay attention to you." More than once had she said things of this nature but played it off as jokes. We also called each other wifey.
She moved back to her city and we stayed connected but lost touch 2 yrs ago, while she was dealing with a toxic relationship. Only after she left did I realize, I was in fact in love with her, and I believe she was as well. Two weeks ago she text me. She is still with that toxic partner, and they are having a baby. I'm crushed. I do wish her well, but it hurts knowing we missed our change because we never truly stated how we felt. And that was not ready at the time. Doesn't help that she is still a flirt.
I feel for these two. I know now at 37...Meeting the right person, but it being the wrong time is tough! Sorry, this was a lot. lol

It's means a lot. I truly do have to remember to put myself first, when it comes to her. I had become her shoulder to cry on and the one she looked to for advice. I don't think I have the capacity for it this time around. I agreed to make candles for her baby shower in a few months which I'm already having second thoughts about lol. I’ve watched this and the last episode now several times and I agree with your advice. I came to this through ENGFA, I love everything about her, and fell into the ship with all of you. However, I must say that I’m Team Charlotte on this one. Engfa went after her in the beginning hard, but throughout the relationship, I think Engfa has been inconsistent about the development. It’s very clear that she doesn’t treat Charlotte like the other girls-even to the point of being more playful with them-but she doesn’t do that to Charlotte. Instead, she makes these grand gestures on stage so it seems like it could be a strategy. I’m sorry but she has not fully clarified her relationship or intentions to Charlotte at the point of this episode and it caused a real communication issue between them. As a lesbian myself, I understand that Engfa is afraid of being hurt by a curious “straight” girl, but I’m not sure that Charlotte was playing her. Looking at this with hindsight, I do believe that things have changed, but if you notice, Charlotte has all but publicly committed and Engfa is still hesitant. She needs to come clean and clearly express her intent-also, I think she bears a little more responsibility for the communication because she is older and more mature. Regardless of where they come out, I hope they find love and happiness.

So doing a rewatch of your videos i can see where the miscommunication happens if we go back to the beginning char asks Fa not to flirt when they meet in public i think thats also why fa said she wouldn't flirt with her but then char started flirting first and when fa would flirt back then char would step back and it goes like this up till that point in the live where one would start the flirting thing first then they would go back and forth till one of them back off i also think the pressure from the fandom played a part in it so i can see both pov yeah sure char was under the impression that they where sisters and didn't know fa was flirting fr but i think with the HILOT thing that may have had a part in it but char did say out her own mouth that she feels different with fa then HILOT the problem on chars is she seemed to give fa hope by doing stuff that ain't sisterly at all. And Fa who kinda let char take the lead on where they stood (when char was the first to call her sister) instead of declaring that she wanted more because fa was so afraid of over stepping and putting to much added pressure on her that she said one thing to make her comfortable but showed something entirely different in the end it was one big miscommunication and something that should've been talk about and maybe they did off cam who knows like fa said we have no idea what they do BTS

I kinda agree with you though, this drama has been too much for others but it shouldn't have been that serious because it was just a phase, the other fans made a huge deal out of this that they started hating them, leaving the fandom and all that.
Like, if you can't love them for who they are, just leave, we don't need you.

Honestly Vicky, most of the categorizations of Charlotte as Fa's sister happened before reporters or before fans as a way to take some of the pressure off of how intensely they were shipped and probably because Charlotte hadn't yet figured out her feelings. Freen and Becky do the same thing. For me, that's not so much the issue as, unlike Freen and Becky, as you've noted, there doesn't seem to be any behind-the-scenes clarification. like they're both scared to rock the boat so they just leave things as they are. That's what's really hurting them.

Hey Vicky! How's everything going these days because you've been very busy but we appreciate your constant effort to put out videos for us.
As soon as I saw this posted I just thought "let's get this over with" because I knew you were going to break down and I was ready. Also, I just wanted to get through this time because this genuinely was, along with that period about two weeks ago, the worst it gets. I won't say much regarding this episode as it's very clear there was some tension, but what made it seem weird was the practice for Engfa's concert was literally days after the MadameFin event. In other words, it was the ig lives following that when Charlotte was talking about her current mindset and feelings in which the mood was based off of.
Side note - many of your guesses regarding their feelings and how they were subtweeting are correct, which is why I keep saying they need time. Charlotte needs time in the sense of she wants to be very sure with her feelings before engaging in any relationship beyond platonic with anyone, and Engfa needs time, in my opinion, to figure out what she wants. I don't mean this in a disrespectful manner but I feel that during this time, and in recent times, Engfa seems to contradict much of what she says but perhaps unknowingly. There's nothing wrong at all with having a change of heart and mind, I do feel as though Engfa isn't too sure of what she wants. This is just my opinion, I in no way, shape, or form state these as facts.
Another side note - I agree fully with your statements about being LGBTQIA+ and not having experience - everyone is valid.

Knowing their situation now and watching it again alot of things make more sense. Charlotte going live, saying what she said it is all bc of another love intrest of Engfa. She already knew about Tina and she wanted to be the only interest and needed more time. On the other hand Engfa is wanting someone who is sure. For me Enga did give more mixed signals bc Charlotte was just following her lead. Again we don't know everything behind cameras we can only assume.
