Concerning the events of this episode, I feel like somewhere in that talk that Engfa and Charlotte had, the topic on C being uncertain came up. For quite a few parts of this ep, Engfa threw some words about wanting to be sure, and wanting someone that's certain of her and not necessarily if they like women (IMO). She still appears to be quite hurt, and you made a good point; people change overtime. I dont think that she hasn't considered that, it just seems that she has a serious fear of rejection, and based on how deeply she feels, would probably cause her to spiral down that dark hole, especially since she confirmed recently that she was diagnosed with chronic depression. So, it kinda looks like she's somewhat micromanaging in order to protect herself which isn't necessarily a bad thing but it can lead to some shortsightedness. There was some drama before she went to the international competition but from recent updates, the person she was rumoured to be with, has been unfollowed and generally cut off due to shady (clout chasing) behaviour. Here are my thoughts, before meeting both had serious crushes. Charlotte even said don't hit on me when we first meet because she knew she would probably die. Then they got to live together and it grew even deeper, they have both definitely fallen. The issue begun though with Engfa trying to protect Charlotte in interviews by making the sisters comment, child comment, not 100% comment, not ready comment may also do damage. I think the first time she said it Charlotte face was a bit puzzled and then it switched from romantic in her head. As you stated previously why was Charlotte following her for? She said Engfa of twitter was sexy and something else and Engfa in real life is playful and clumsy. That she makes her heart warm...... so I think she is still struggling with reconciling because like you said they speak about feelings over the media and not in person thoroughly. Engfa said sisters with a long lasting working relationship and special bond and that's the language Char used from that day after. I have sort of come to my own understanding, and I would like to state that I am not claiming these as facts but just what I think based off my observation. I think it's interesting how Engfa seemingly, as you have stated on multiple occasions, already determined her "position" in Charlotte's life. I say that because I think what we're seeing between these two is different ways of processing emotion and the possibility of things that can happen. It seems like Engfa is someone who once she gets an initial feeling, that is something she tries to immediately express in regards to the occurrence at hand. Charlotte, however, is someone who seems to have a feeling, wants to understand more of it, and then act within the right timing. This is not necessarily on the topic of romantic/intimate relationships, but just in general. It bothers me when people claim Charlotte to either 1) play with people's emotions, 2) not know what she wants, and 3)completely closes herself off from feeling what she does beyond now because none of that is true. It is clear that Charlotte wants to, in a different sense from how Engfa processes feelings, know what causes those feelings, and if they are sustained as a result of initial actions. If anything, I feel that Charlotte is someone who has a focus and when she does, she focuses as to be much more sure and confident in what she does. When it comes to her focus for work, it is clear that the woman is all in for it and, has even stated, that dating isn't in her cards right now because of her work. I would definitely say this is very true based on the fact that there have been moments where someone seems to be flirting and she either passes it off or just doesn't know. Also, I think her focus for work is this way because that's something that is definitive as once she is told she has something to do, SHE has the control of making it happen (i.e. going and doing the work). Now when we talk about the focus of her, possible, emotions for anyone beyond friendship I feel like, just like with work, she takes in the whole situation. So if we consider that, what Engfa openly says, the general public, and then her own thoughts, I genuinely think that's why Charlotte says what she says regarding things right now. Like she said, she can't answer for the future but right now based on what she can see and feel, it just doesn't seem like the timing. This is meant in the sense of any relationship she has, and you get that feel when you here her talk about others in her life, but also when issues have arisen. To put it simply: Engfa is more of a "jump first, ask questions later," while Charlotte is "Ask questions to know and understand, learn where I may jump, and what may happen once I get there." Neither of them are in the wrong - the way they feel and process emotions is valid and they have that right. I just wanted to note that because while they both have gotten dumped on, Charlotte gets this harsher side of people trying to further push how she questions herself without considering she is already trying to question and figure out who she is. That's why I feel this woman doesn't really talk about things outside of work, fans, and the MGT girls, because she is thoughtful to a different extent and that shows in her actions. All-in-all, I love all the girls and want to voice my support for Charlotte and how she has handled things because honestly this woman is one of the most open-minded and open-hearted people to exist. I say let her be, let of all them be, and they'll find their way to be what they are in life. Some people aren't homophobic, but they're somewhat weird to me and I don't know how to describe in words. I was an intern back then and there was a discussion on LGBTQ+ topic. A manager teased me that I'd fall for a female senior for sure because I'm a lesbian. I jokingly skipped the topic, but they still tried to force me to admit that I'd like any women in the office. Some people aren't homophobic, but they're somewhat weird to me and I don't know how to describe in words. I was an intern back then and there was a discussion on LGBTQ+ topic. A manager teased me that I'd fall for a female senior for sure because I'm a lesbian. I jokingly skipped the topic, but they still tried to force me to admit that I'd like any women in the office. Obviously, I denied and told that I wasn't interested in any female seniors.
Guess what happened? The female senior and the manager pissed off and thought that I was rude for not accepting to 'like' the senior romantically... And, yes, there were many obstrucles occured afterward during the internship Haha They are so weird.
