I love this so much, this is so heartbreaking yet amazing. Mothra has been one of the main monsters since the first Godzilla movies, she has lived on for so long. She is the protector of human kind, she protects it no matter what even if it means sacrifice or teaming with the enemies.
She is truly the Queen of the Monsters!

モスラの仲間は、キングギドラ、バラゴンです。彼らは、硬い絆で結ばれており、ゴジラとの戦いで、バラゴンを失い、ギドラとモスラだけになりました。次の対戦でゴジラは、ギドラが死にかけになりました。モスラもキズつきました。モスラがギドラにパワーをあげました。ギドラは、復活したが、モスラは、ついに死んでしまいました。空に浮かぶモスラとバラゴンの魂が見えました。ギドラに吸い込まれていきました｡ギドラは、金色に輝くキングギドラになりました｡ゴジラを攻撃しました。だが、キングギドラも、力尽きてしまいました｡だが、人間たちの攻撃でゴジラは、倒れました。

You hear Godzilla mourning Mothra's death and this shows that there is more to them then some Symbiotic relationship between the two. There is something much more deep between them. Mothra is immortal and Godzilla knows this but still mourned her. He knows she'll return one day.
Well most likely mothra knows she will be back and Godzilla was trying to kill ghidorah who was gonna destroy the earth so she joined sides with Godzilla to stop ghidorah but she knew she could never defeat gohidorah if he killed Godzilla so she gave up her live for him but if Godzilla was trying to destroy the earth mothra would most likely turn on him and try to kill him

このモスラはガチで綺麗だった
The beauty of the movie is the fact the director made little references to older Godzilla movies, yet took Godzilla into a new age, effectively rebranding him into a true Godzilla, possibly the best we’ve seen ever since the first movies.
このモスラは、何か孵化〜羽化にかけて、それから姿形が「アゲハチョウ」みたいで歴代中特に凄く綺麗なモスラ様でした！
ただ、出来れば、このモスラが誕生し羽化した出現地点が日本の富士山のモナーク基地にして欲しかったなぁと、私個人的に強く感じます。
そこが私個人的にちょっと残念な所…。

モンスター0（キングギドラ）とも若干かぶる感じがするし色々とゴジラ映画では似合わないと感じる。

そうすれば、かつての3部作のオマージュにも若干なるはずだ。

@@tosamihitukega7060 there's always a mothra egg somewere, everytime mothra is born, after she goes thru the larva phase, she lays an egg, when she dies either one of two thing happen.
1- she reincarnates on the egg and the cicle starts over
2- the new mothra is an independent being, that was the case with mothra leo that not only looked very different from it's mother it was also male and had a vastly different power set

You see, there was an unfilmed scene about the twins at the newly discovered egg. They had costumes prepared, props and set but yeah, it was never filmed unfortunately. (*legit*, Michael Dougherty himself said it).
