I was loving the hardened protractor and even the dry cutter but the speed square WTF just kidding!! You need to take a look at 3m cubitron 2 resin fiber disc and you will never use a flap disc again. Good video!!
I hope you have more projects, tutorials and welding videos coming out. You've done a fabulous job on the few you've made. I'm an old guy that is just now interested in metal fabrication and welding. I've made a stand like your vise on a pole for holding hammers. I really like your projects.
I was ready to pay the $300 a set price for the “popular” brand ones till I was lied to several times on my order status on the small set I ordered. They work great but I think I’ll go back to using the 3/4” thick angle and the set like this I made yrs ago after that “customer experience”. Once again nice simple and to the point video.👍🏻
I contemplated buying some of those sets, I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. Especially considering I can make my own that work just as well for 1/10 of the price. I know they work well, I just couldn’t justify it.
TX Tradesman yea I got the small $120 set but after two months and many “where’s my stuff what do you mean you don’t even have a tracking number you charged me already” type emails, well all I can say is never again I’ll keep building my own things like that.

I appreciate that sir. I do plan on making more videos in the future, been extremely busy with work lately.
Wow. I learnt some great tricks especially cutting the 45 of the angle iron short to allow for strong welding. That’s skill 😊
Glad it was helpful!
That turned out really nice!
Thank you.

3/4” thick angle??? Do you mean 1/4?
Rodolfo Lopez no
This is worth a SUB 👍🏼
I appreciate it, thank you.
Yea, I did this and it's not quite 90-45 - damn it.
You forgot to send them to the machine shop.
I am currently making some similar ones. Your welds are WAYYY! better though.
Any tips to avoid distorcion? I'm afraid of the heat destroy the squareness of the square
Lots of clamps.
Leave the corner open! This version is not so practical. You cannot access to the corner inside.
Well, it’s all personal opinion I suppose. I’m not using these for doing weld out.
subscribed.
Thank you.
Beats the hell out of paying 8 trillion dollars for 1 fireball square. Easier than dealing with their customer service too.
Their stuff is pretty nice, but I’m not gonna pay the prices they want.
