I was hoping to get the rocker chair, however, for a pick up and go chair is the best I've seen so far. This is small enough to put into a backpack, or on the rear of a ebike to enroute rest stops.
It is nice that it swivels. Can’t wait to see your video when you compare all the camping chairs you have had. Those hammock chairs you are using recently look very comfy too.
I believe your “other chairs” are the Nemo Stargazers, which we have and LOVE. I have to have back/neck support, and love the recline feature of those. Love the swivel feature of these and would be great for the soccer/baseball games locally. But I’ll never give up my Nemos! Thanks.
Glad you love those chairs... as you know we do too. Takes a little longer to set up and tear down and they seem to barely fit in the bag which is sometimes frustrating for us. But you probably already know... they have a place in our gear garage and get setup at just about every campsite. ❤️

We have several items that if the bag were just 1 inch bigger, it would make it SO much easier to repack. I agree, it is frustrating. After several years with these chairs, I have a pretty good technique, but it is still frustrating at times.

Just checked and they have at least two max weight rated chairs at 225 and 300lbs...FYI If they offer a discount code, I'm gonna' get one for the van and use it for grab and go seating. The other chair I have is in the tall bag configuration and I Love that for the padded arms and full base...
It's a knockoff of the Cliq chair, but with a twist (pun) - the addition of a very cool swivel. I'm torn. I have two basic Cliqs for the same reason you like the TCEKs. Small with instant set up. And they're generally comfortable. And then I busted the bank and also bought two Cliq Lounges which have that coveted head support for sky watching. The nice thing about them is I can get all four of them in a small cubby in our Solis Pocket. But, yeah, chairs. Got a bunch of them. I bought one GCI Pico and it was OK, but I didn't like it enough (too upright and no lumbar support) to get a second one. So we've never used it and it's just sitting around. When I was having trouble with my back and it was hard to get up from a low chair, I got a big sturdy Eureka! Highback Recliner Chair with head support, but too bulky to take in the van, so it went on one trip and has been in the garage ever since. And I gave our old quad chairs to a friend who just gotten his first trailer. Oh, and I had a couple of different REI chairs, the ones with the shock corded Tinker Toy legs. Too much trouble! They got given away. I think that's the only chairs we've got but I keep looking for the perfect chair! Your GCI rockers look pretty comfortable, but they're just too bulky - just too much for a small 17' van.
This is a timely video - I was just searching for information on chairs like this yesterday. I just got back from the beach and find getting down into a low beach chair to be too much effort. I wonder how stable the chair is in soft beach sand if I push the legs into the sand a bit? Hope you show that in your comparison video.
I 'm a full size handicapped person that could really appreciate the swivel function, but as with all camping chairs there is a weight limit. Could you please post this limitation ?
They are a knockoff of Cliq chairs, so if they are engineered to the same specs as our Cliqs, they're very easy to get out of. Very solid base of support. You just put your hands on the front corners of the chair and it's easy to push up without tipping the chair. (NB: we have two Cliq chairs and Cliq Lounges. Have not tried Owen's chair, though the swivel feature has me intrigued.)
Yeah I bought 2 of these. They are very cheaply made. For sure not worth 100. I probably wouldn't give 20 a pc for them. Also your discount code doesn't work

They say 300 lbs, but they are a little tippy at times so I’m not sure I would recommend these for someone who is handicapped.
