One never confuses Aurora with anyone else. She seems supremely confident in this one.

The problem is everyone is so used to listening to mainstream media driven music that they have forgotten what the real essence of the art of music should be all about it’s why Aurora is head and shoulders above anyone out there her ability to write songs, produce music is simply Genius seriously she is more than special this performance is off the charts amazing trust me artists like Aurora do not come around that often and we are blessed to have her.❤️

Absolutely correct John, that's the world we're living in these days.....Aurora remains one of the very few that can be considered pure art I am grateful for that
Have a good one bro and take care!

@@panchiolarranaga1616 while I agree, I wouldn’t say it’s very few. there are a ton of great artists making expansive, lyrical, and introspective music today. you just have to seek them out.

If you haven't experienced her virtual concert in the game Sky: Children of the Light, you are missing out. It's a free game/experience for Switch, PS5, and mobile. The concert is interactive and absolutely stunning. This song is included in the experience. It will be happening in game until January.

This is one of my favourite performances by Aurora, this whole concert is amazing 😍😍
KEXP is an American radio station 👍
Looking forward to your next Aurora reaction 👍😊

Incredible performance. Beautiful voice, great energy, cool harmonies. Also like how this song changes and moving between section. Also love these vocalizes - it is always great with Aurora. And of course not trivial and good lyrics open for interpretations. And about interpretation I have mine (will not analyze here line by line :) ) but some lines you can understand in multiple ways. Maybe will add some thing about interpretation a little later (as i will be watching soccer/football now :) ).

Aurora is so talented, I love pretty much everything about her and her music. It always makes me smile when I hear that little humble "thank you" and/or "thank you so much" after some of her live songs. It just shows how sweet and down to earth she is.

Hi Jesse, AURORA's backing vocalist is Silja Sol. She has left AURORA's band about a year ago to focus on her personal solo career. She has her own UA-cam channel: www.youtube.com/@siljasol5383

Here is a quote from the KEXP article about this performance in Iceland:
"The room was insanely packed as Aurora took the stage. Even the legendary Björk was in attendance, solidifying that, yes, this artist is a big f...... deal (yeah, I freaked out a little bit too). By no surprise, Aurora lived up to the hype."
KEXP is a Seattle radio station which for some reason is involved in and transmitting from this Iceland Airwaves festival 2018. I don't know if this was a one time thing, or if they do this every year.
Aurora visited the KEXP radio station in Seattle 3 months after this concert in Feb 2019 and performed 4 songs and did an interview.

@@JesseReacts Yeah, and back here in Nov 2018 Aurora was not even half as "famous" / "known" as she is now in 2022, this was before Frozen II and only the first part of her 2nd album, the EP Step 1 part, had been released just 7 weeks before this show.

Great reaction, Jesse🙂 Nothing straight forward with Aurora and her lyrics; always room for interpretation. And there is no right or wrong interpretation. Aurora's harmonizations is one of her absolute trademarks, and particularly with the girl on the keys. Her name is Silja Sol, another Norwegian. Unfortunately she left the band a year or so ago (maybe 2 years. Time flies SOOO fast) to pursue her own career. They were liquid gold together tbh. Take care 🙂

It's a shame people leave bands. But it takes a rare person to appreciate staying in the anonymity of a band. Curious to checkout Silja as-well. Hopefully she's doing great. The sounded amazing together

@@JesseReactsPeople leave bands for the same reason they change jobs, for a different challenge or greater ambition. Aurora’s musical inspirations have changed with age and the musicians which she had collaborated with mutually decide to follow different paths. She is always growing as an artists and compromises for no one when it comes to creating music that has meaning for her. It is why I continue to enjoy every path she takes, to experience her amazing voice in unique styles that challenge my musical preferences, never relying on nostalgia to retain her audience.

Thanks Jesse. The first time I heard this song I wasn't sure if it would be on my playlist or not. As time went on and I had a few more listens, I grew to really appreciate it. Fast forward to now, it is without a doubt my Favorite Live performance! Learning how to appreciate the different sounds that hit you all at once was actually a wonderful experience! I often times wonder if this song is a "Grounded" song. Almost a plead to all that listen to not let her change and just be true to herself. A lot of artist have started there careers as they wanted but were quickly caught up in the Industry and changed. Almost a prayer to allow her to ignore the "stone" or when she is at a loss, simply keep doing what is right for her! I think she realizes her fans appreciate her and in return she appreciates us. (Colliding of the hearts) 👍

It's amazing how this reactors world works, I'm stunned, one reactor comes up with an artist and a particular song and booom all the rest start reacting to the same thing, over and over again, becomes some sort of chain reaction, it surprised me, a couple of years ago, but not anymore, guess I got used to it now, it's like some human reactor algorithm taking over but it's pretty lame, I'm sorry but that is what I think. Thanks the Almightry I don't watch all reactions, even less those bunch of unmentional mainstream stuff around, a testimony of how music biz functions. I just watch Aurora's reactions and eventually some other artist I like and follow, so that makes it even worse . I guess I couldn't be a reactor, like that being my job, I couldn't stop and pause a song, like it's always done.......with all due respect.......you reactors are great people.....just an opinion guys...no hard feelings you are great Jesse! have a great day!

    • @JesseReacts
      @JesseReacts  Рік тому

I guess it's not that much the reactors fault, but the youtube algorithm. It's pretty interesting indeed. I think reactor's get force feeded similar reactors, see stats on successful videos. But also the viewers loving certain songs and request them to multiple reactors.. Do feel like similar reviews might have big times between them though. Watching my reaction might have told the algorithm to serve you a reaction of last year. It's a special world, which i am not quite sure yet why i like it myself. It's weird watching pretty irrelevant opinions and somehow liking that. People like to share though. Share their suggestions, share their information. People love to talk about the things they love, that might be a factor. To me i started this for multiple reasons. 1. Seeing and allowing myself to speak. Get quicker in forming an opinion and become more comfortable with feedback 2. Improve my english in talking 3. Learning new music. I do have a full time job, however occasionally an artist allows me to get some ad money. It help out as i also need(ed) investing in improving this hobby. So far pretty happy it started, but people around me don't really understand or know. Actually pretty proud of persevering and making progress on those 3 points i mentioned. Have a great day yourself!

Hey Jesse, thanks for your reply and comments, I do understand the programming intention behind all the feedback we receive from social media, media in general, in all it's forms, it is definitely serving a purposes that to me becomes more and more scary, but never the less clear. What disturbs me the most is that this plan has now become a program being put to practice as an instrument or tool from what were at some concealed intentions agenda, but that are now more clear and everywhere this days like some distopic scifi movie.
Music, the good music, still remains something that wouldn't cause damage, but that is also changing......they are spreading their word all over and the beast is taking shape now
