Their performances from one to twelve show how they were getting their confidence up and hitting their stride. My favorites are 7, 10 and 12.

My favorite of the Sing Off songs.
I have always wondered if Scott was supposed to stay at the mic stand or if he was supposed to dance around.
I think he had to dance around or he was going to explode. He was FEELIN' IT.

I love seeing this silly side of you, Jesse! Mark being responsible for half of the views as Scott sings his heart out is cute. Even at this early stage of their career you can see the camaraderie and talent that has carried them through to today. Well done, as always, even with technical hurdles to overcome. Peace from Ohio …

Thanks for putting in the additional work to get this reaction up and online. A favorite with everyone, air bass and all that they did a version of for years on tour as an audience participation event.
Scott went to the University of Southern California and Ben Bram was connected to them. Ben also worked for the SingOff as a coach and arranger. There were several groups from the school who auditioned for each year of the SingOff. Ben and Scott got together and Ben was clear that to do the acapella genre they needed a bass and a beatboxer. Ben knew and had sung with Avi. Ben also was "the friend" who saw Kevin's beatboxing video on UA-cam and suggested him. A similar thing occurred with Homefree. Ben heard Tim Foust's bass and then the show told Homefree they could be on the show only if they did it as a country acapella band. It was their 3rd time trying out for the show I think Chris Rupp said so they agreed and that is how Homefree became "country".
So 2 winners were favored and helped behind the scenes at least. They are both fabulous groups but they did get a hand up for the competition.
Note - Sara Bareilles went on to write and star in the Broadway musical "Waitress" that closed due to the pandemic and now has a television show that she acts in.

Didn’t know about Sarah. It’s interesting what you saying about Ben. Didn’t know about Tim and Homefree. It’s indeed kind of interesting looking at their show performances and the help they got. Not to say there is foul game. I just assume people like Ben had a bif love for the music and saw potential everywhere haha

@@JesseReacts It is just the way the shows work to be entertaining. They were subjected to audience call in voting for the next 2 performances so that wasn't rigged. People genuinely preferred them.
They used this for years as an audience participation event in their live shows. This particular one is the most famous "Dena the chair girl" and I highly suggest you react to it sometime. It is alot of fun.

No one else ever seems to pick up on the content of this song immediately following the OMG one - and they were actually in the same episode of the Sing Off. LOL I am glad you decided to re-react to this!

Haha it sure is. Partially nostalgious seeing them so young. But also just arrangement wise and their entire vibe. No suprise they won the thing.

This is my fave "Sing Off" performance. I hope you can react to some of the songs on their new album "Holidays around the World". My fave is "Love Came on Christmas". You will NEVER hear anything like it. There is only a visualizer, but it's WELL worth the listen. It wouldn't surprise me if Mark watched this 100,000 times.
