Rescue and recovery at George building collapse complete

The rescue and recovery mission in George is finally complete. The construction site has been under intense lockdown since a multi-storey building collapsed with an estimated 81 workers on site last Monday. Western Cape Local Government MEC, Anton Bredell says disaster management is now handing the site over to the South African Police and the Labour Department for investigation. They were not on duty that day. They also assume many never came back bcz illegal issues. 5 guys on site had 2 construction jobs so they left for the other 1 during lunch when it fell 1hr later.
