The perfect pedal for recreating the soundtrack to your favorite super nintendo game.
Thank you Will for keeping this & the other demos so musical. This is the stuff you wish you could find out at your local music store but can’t. Respect.
Damn, you can carry that pedal around in those cargo shorts! Good review, I dug it.
awesome review man, been waiting for a bass review of this for ages :D
Honestly some things will sound best in different frequencies on this pedal.
With the bass guitar you have low frequencies, and the instruments the pedal emulates are all different frequencies, for example the full orchestra setting is a sample of a full orchestra which has a frequency range that spans from very low to stupidly high. This means that the orchestra will sound good with the bass. On the other hand instruments like the Flute, Violins, Trumpets and High Choir will sound terrible in the bass range, because that is out of their frequency range and this will make them sound unnatural since they're being pitch shifted. Likewise certain instruments will sound terrible when played too high or may not even track that well higher up at all, for example the Cello, Low Choir and Clarinet.
Those tones are almost scary
Holy fucking Castlevania, this is sick.
The intro sounds like Mr. Crowley! 🤘🤘
The saxophone & choirs just don’t sound good on bass, in my opinion. The other sounds seem very useful, but the price tag. 🥺 I like the C9 on bass. I’d love to have both pedals to experiment with but I can’t justify the cost right now. Y’all demoed the pedal good though, nothing against the video at all.
Great playing - this sounds so good.
Should have thrown a low e and b in there just to see what happens thanks for the review sounds cool
very cool pedal never seen this one before
This sounds like the pedal I need to give myself a mild sense of foreboding.
Superego, please? Would love to hear it!
Glad to see it'll work for a bass should be fun to hook a 12 string bass up to one 😂
Truthfully, all the 9's are begging for a review.
Khalyle Hagood We had the SYNTH9 at the store but someone bought it before we could film it. Hopefully another comes soon.
Ah, my heart! We patiently await.
Khalyle Hagood We'll do it ASAP. But in the meantime, Overlord and Canyon are next. In hand and ready to shoot for this Saturday.
Dope, I'm personally eyeing the overlord.
what interesting pedal effect 🤔
Digging the shirt
Hi... This pedal works until "A" string on bass? Thanks.
EHX says it can track the open A but not the E.
More of a guitar pedal than a bass pedal.
the choir sounds pretty cool
I hated the tracking and slight weird delay you get from the 9 series’s
He has the attack set at noon. That’s what your hearing. The Mel and synth 9 actually track amazingly well. The best synth I’ve ever tried on bass by a large margin.
Hi that pedal can be use for acustic thank
this + a 6 string, you'd be a composing God
B9 Bass demo Please!!!!!!
Great pedal bit they all fail in tracking bass or guitar.
can you do the synth9 with bass?
n, rothe As soon as we can get one.
That would be awesome.
What cabinet are you using here? Cool demo
Sykies Thank you! We're running through the Fender Bassman 500 with matching 4x10 cabinet.
Thanks for the fast reply!
Could you do the EHX Enigma Q-Balls please?
Grayson G Absolutely
Sounds terrifying
How is the polyphony on bass?
Better the higher up you play. The lower I play I'd say the tracking is decent and the tone hit or miss depending on setting and your tastes, but the tracking and tone do improve the higher up you play.
All I could say while listening to this was "FUCK"
I think the pedal sounds very poor.
Sounds like really outdated keyboard effects
It tried to reproduces a melotron so it makes sense.
That's the idea. Have you not heard of a mellotron?
Clearly not. Ha ha
