This happened to me once but it was w eBay. eBay gave me my money back since the package was lost/stolen before it reached them. The seller was out of a pair a shoes sadly. I would assume Goat relatively works the same. Being that they technically didn’t take a loss on the shoe, because they don’t pay the seller until the shoe is delivered and authenticated. I would stay calm Goat customer service is ass and there response times are lengthy
I ordered military blue 4s in December and the seller shipped a defective shoe that was literally falling apart for 300$. I told them just gimme the money back once they alerted me. Damn near all my fav releases I have came from goat I live and die by it been buying from goat for almost 8 years literally 80% of my time in this game . Sad to hear bad news about them but ima watch the full vid and be objective about it . 💯💯hope it’s not too crazy man
If you have your bank cancel the order, then your Goat (or stockx) account gets suspended. Because these apps are "marketplaces," the sales are recorded for everyone to see the "value" of the product. So we see the history of all sales. They see canceling a confirmed order as market manipulation
@@Hegotkickzyour account can’t get canceled if you call your bank and legitimately get your money back. I woulda called my bank two days after no response. Your bank will issue the credit back and investigate. I’d take screen shots of you trying to reach out also incase something happens to that conversation as well. Don’t let them take your money

I would definitely suggest waiting longer than a week for the company to resolve it themselves but why would you want to do business with GOAT again if they were to actually ghost you and still not respond in the next week or two?

As someone who works for a Financial Institution. Fraud Dept. best way depending on purchase method would be to dispute through Visa or contact you FI and file an ACH dispute.

Cause I at least know that the shoe is already in Goats possession and in the warehouse and no need to wait for a shipper to send them to goat. Buying sneakers that haven’t released yet is tricky most of these sellers don’t even have the actually shoe yet that’s why I don’t do it but I get you’re a content tuber you take those chances
I had the same happen to me when i ordered the Frozen Moments 4’s from GOAT. The shoes was shipped out the first time but somehow it never made it to the GOAT facility so they ended up shipping out another pair and i ended up receiving them almost a month later. So that’s probably has happen.
fr i got a wrong size and returned it got my money back and got another pair of shoes also i had times where they had to find a different seller like your situation but because the shoes were fake so it took longer but i still got them and i never reviewed a fake pair from them idk
I've ordered from GOAT plenty of times. I never had issues with them as of yet. I get a email saying they are at GOAT for the legit checks pretty fast and within a week, I have my shoes. Hopefully everything works out for you Kicks. 🙏

This is pretty typical when you can’t physically get a hold of someone from the company to resolve your problem - some issues can get resolved via email/chat/text but most need to be dealt with over the phone.
The seller you got definetly did whats referred to as a "label scan" it marks the package as shipped for ups but ups doesn't even actually have it, this happens so early release pairs can get sold before market drops, the guy probably didn't even have your shoe

Bro this exact same thing literally just happened to me with the Military 4’s with Goat. Ordered my pair on May 4th, waited a full week and they said shipped then after a few more days it said delayed. I emailed and got a response a day later that they would help me and I would get a response in 2-3 business days. I told them I needed my shoes because I was going away on vacation. The next day they refunded my order. Goat is definitely up to something.
I wouldn't worry, I've had sneakers be "delivered" & I received an empty box because an international shipping company called swyft tracking (has horrible reviews with people saying similar things) stole them & goat refunded my money. I've also had a similar issue a few years ago when I ordered the cool grey 11's for my daughter & the shipper took forever to ship & when they did & goat received them, they turned out to be fake. But goat just ended up finding me a new seller & express shipped them to me. So maybe this is the case & if so they'll more then likely find you a new seller. One thing I hate about goat is that some sellers really take their time. Worse case scenario, they find you a new seller or goat will refund you your money, & yes also sometimes goat customer service takes forever to reply.
This is an easy case. Call your bank and dispute the charge, you did not receive the product you paid for, and you have proof of reaching out to them and them not resolving it/replying. Case closed.
I am getting my military blue tomorrow for $50 over retail, I hope the QC is decent or I will feel buyers remorse. I always get worse than I expect from Flight Club and I gotten fakes before from Poizon. I am nuts for messaging with those reseller websites. I am only dealing with reputable eBay sellers for now on. I hope I have a better experience and the shoes come looking like they came from a retailer all nicely packaged. I am sick of the repackaging they do at those major reseller websites throwing all the paper on the bottom of the shoes and they make it harder to authenticate your self
Thats the one thing i dont like about GOAT. When you buy a shoe without instant ship its almost guaranteed to have an issue. They'll eventually refund your money but it seems like they do everything they can to keep the sale. And theyre way to lenient with sellers

On Mercari, sometimes a seller will cancel the sale.. happens. On Mercari, the money is held in escrow until you mark the it "received" so the buyer is never at risk. I've heard folks talk about their snkrs app orders getting clocked by the delivery services (bc of the conspicuous Nike boxes), but that's dishonest crooks working at warehouses, not the platforms.
@hgr.7857 it's not necessarily a major issue each time, but it's always something. It could be something as minor as the seller not shipping on time. Or it could be the order status tracker not updating, so you have to email them for the update. It almost seems like they're trying to push people to do instant ship.

good luck. I'm sure it'll work itself out. I've never had that issue. I've returned a few pairs back to them that had defects. I never had issues with customer service. I've ordered shoes that have said order confirmed and weeks later "being shipped to you. they use different shipping companies, and it tends to get weird.
Based on what you stated, it feels like an issue with the shipper whether it be UPS, USPS or FedEx.. if GOAT never even got the package from the shipper, then that’s why they are taking a little longer to resolve it.. the package may not have even made it to UPS or whoever.. The situation sounds awful but I would cancel the transaction through your card company if you can.. Those GOAT folks are kinda rock headed sadly but not malicious..
File a chargeback with your credit card company. Usually have up to 4 months. You have 6 months to file a claim if paid threw PayPal. I am 100% positive you will get your money back. Hope this helps..

I had the same issue with StockX around the Laney 14s. Call your bank dispute the charge then they’ll do there research and all that. You’ll get a provisional credit to your account in the amount of whatever you paid then they’ll go after goat and make goat send you the money back then the bank will just go in and get there money back from the provisional credit!!
I’ve had this problem with GOAT as well and it’s not GOAT giving you the runaround it’s the seller! When the sneaker sells the seller will hold onto the sneaker to see if the value goes up and they’ll try to hold the sneaker until goat cancel the order And make a new seller confirm your order meanwhile the first seller doesn’t get penalized for not shipping a sneaker! Doesn’t like the fact the sneakers sold on a low try to hold onto it because the value is increasing now. You will eventually get your sneaker but the same thing happened to me with the Jordan 4 bred reimagines
If they go unresponsive to refunding you or refuse to provide you with an update, I’d contact your credit card company to get your money back. They’ll get you your refund real quick brother. That’s horrible business on their end

I’ve sent two emails the first one they responded and haven’t heard back since and it still says shipment delay. They won’t cancel the order because it says they have 30 days before they have to do anything. I placed my order on 4/2.

I only order from reputable Nike authorized dealers. GOAT, Stock x, and eBay have lost all credibility with me. Also.. always use a credit card. Dispute the charge with your bank.
Happened to me before as well. Something happened with the original seller not sure what could be any number of things. Now Goat is looking for another seller “at no additional cost to you” and then will have that person ship order in for verification. They will probably offer you a $15 discount for future orders since you waited so long. However it seems like you no longer need or want the shoes and you can probably buy them for much cheaper at this point so continue to email them and start contact them in the app to tell them what you want done. They should work with you and allow you to do whatever you want when they obviously have not met their standards and requirements for sales on their platform. Good luck but I’m fairly certain that you will have resolved soon
Goat is not all what it's made out to be. People love to shit on StockX but in my experience it's never failed me and it has lower prices for the exact same things. It will always confuse me why people would pay more for the exact same product.

Call the BBB on thier ass! When they get involved the company will have 3 or 4 days to respond but actions will be taken if they don’t. BBB has their own lawyers.
Probably came from an overseas seller. I ordered a pair of bio-hack lo flyease joints and the seller was in the UK. Took hella long and I thought I got GOT. Eventually got em after a month and a half and emails every other day. Got refunded the shipping after convincing not to cancel since the order was in transit.
These shoes could easily be sitting at the USPS Palmetto, GA sorting depot. That place has been a mess and a problem for a while. The head guy at USPS just had to appear in front of congress about it. Wife’s company had $60k worth of checks just sitting there for a month.
This happened to me a couple times with Goat. The closest situation to yours is when I ordered the St. John's dunk high from 2022. Long story short, my shoes "got lost" aka stolen by FedEx on the way to me after being verified and shipped from Goat. In your situation I'm thinking maybe this might of happened to your 4's on the way to GOAT and the're trying to find out exactly what's going on. But at the end of day, they will give you your money back or find another seller and maybe give you some GOAT credit if you chat with them.
This happened to twice! For the Jordan 3 white cement release. Same thing Goat ghosted me with poor customer service and follow up. They refunded my first one, and the second one I had to do a charge back on my cc.🤦♂️👎

Those Goat maggots did the same to me buyer bought. I shipped. It got delivered, then goat said they didn't get package. Lol then they asked for the receipt, I also sent that in the box nothing came out. I got scammed from goat.
I would fight to get that order cancelled no matter what there’s no way they can get away with this if I don’t receive my shoe within 2 weeks I would just return them once they come in if you can
Me personally I’ve only dealt with Poizon on one order and it was great. From hearing all the issues with StockX and Goat it has steered me more towards brick and mortar resell shops. Usually the shops have the same shoes I’m looking for or they can source them without the fees and I can negotiate on the fly and if it’s an issue I can get it resolved in 10 min or less not days or through email.
I’ve had this same issue. Doing the same things your doing for a week straight with no update Kept getting the runaround sending me from specialist to specialist anytime they would answer a message. Each specialist I had to start over from the beginning then add my newest message in it. I gave em 3/4 days and once it hit the two week mark I was gonna run a charge back but suddenly everything updated at once then my pair was shipped and got to me in a days time. I hope it works out fam I don’t want to think they got you but they have to refund if you don’t have a pair. Prolly tryna stall you til release day

It sucks because the 2 times this happened to me, I was to get the pairs wayyyyy under retail and value, but I guess the seller realized what they were worth and refused to send. anyway, you'll get your money, itt'll just take a bit. Also 72hours is business days. not sat sun.
Goat gives the seller a lot of time and grace to send it to the buyer. Side note if you ever buy USED from goat always check to see how many pictures the seller has. If it’s 9 photos then it’s a good seller. 7 photos are either a new seller or a seller that has a sketchy history with goat. If I do happen to buy from goat I go with INSTANT. If it’s a decent enough price difference.
Imma be honest I stopped buying shit from companies I can’t contact. Flat out. Now it’s a store in my area that does resell and they have these for about the same price you paid. I was gonna cop cause I really wanted them early but dude acted like it was a problem with me trying them on first so I declined to get em.

I wouldn’t panic but so far Goat hasn’t scammed you. If at the end of the day you don’t get the shoes then they have to refund you. Lots of orders each day for every company and sometimes this happens. I’m sure you’ve heard horror stories like not getting Travis Scott shoes for a month or more after ordering
They got me with the BRED reimagined....luckily, I got a pair from Nike & legit check them. From there, I was able to prove my case with a bunch of pics and video of legit checking them. I was able to get a full return. The place where they are shipping from is an big indicator. For me, my pair came from Vienna, where the UA/Rep market is huge.

Contact your bank or credit card company and dispute the transaction, explain to them what is going on and they will take care of it for you & or definitely get you a resolution to your issue.

Eh on the one hand I understand your concern, but on the other hand you haven’t waited long enough to be making a video like this. Some of the next steps depend on what you used to pay for your order… what did you use? Credit card is generally the easiest to get your money back because of the chargeback system but there are still options with other methods.
I’ve had at least 3 to 4 pairs stolen from goat within two weeks they will give me credit and the same with Nike. he can always do a chargeback and get his money back. If you didn’t know he’s just making a video. I’m pretty sure he knows even though he says he doesn’t… GOAT has terrible response and they take a while for them to give you credit

I would hope nobody would consider still doing business with a company they had to file a chargeback against anyway.

After it was taking so long they should have reached out to you, to let you k ow what was going on and ask if you would like to continue waiting or would like to cancel the order. This happened to me twice with them the sb bubbles and reimagined 4 it’s coming from DHL if you have the DHL app see if it’s there when it’s come international shipping it takes more time I got both in 2wks or more it goes through customs and clearance process

Get all the info before u definitively call a company a scam. This sounds more like the issue is with the seller. Either way bring all the facts before hand. I get your frustration & I've dealt with GOAT prior and have been frustrated by their slow communication skills. Plus they treat prerelease quite differently. Wish u good luck on a quick resolution.

Never did and I never will shop from goat, that company always been a joke. Simple fact it’s not a reputable business, I have always heard people including my son talking bad about goat. There’s plenty of actual locations that you can go into and buy used or brand new shoes. Stop shopping on goat bottom line exactly what I told my son.
You will still get your sneakers.... They more than likely flagged the sneaker if the person didn't intercept it. Probably getting them from some other Footlocker or place else. You should get an answer or shipment info back sometime this week. You will more than likely make video when they come in too... But being these were early pairs think they were not as easy this time to come by.
I can tell you exactly what happened. The person who is selling the shoe does not physically have the shoe and is trying to find a pair. GOAT is waiting for the pair and the seller probably created a label to make it seem as if the shoe is gonna be sent soon. GOAT is still waiting on the shoe. The seller you got definetly did whats referred to as a "label scan" it marks the package as shipped for ups but ups doesn't even actually have it, this happens so early release pairs can get sold before market drops, the guy probably didn't even have your shoe

Bro this exact same thing literally just happened to me with the Military 4’s with Goat. Ordered my pair on May 4th, waited a full week and they said shipped then after a few more days it said delayed. I emailed and got a response a day later that they would help me and I would get a response in 2-3 business days. I told them I needed my shoes because I was going away on vacation. The next day they refunded my order. Goat is definitely up to something.
I wouldn't worry, I've had sneakers be "delivered" & I received an empty box because an international shipping company called swyft tracking (has horrible reviews with people saying similar things) stole them & goat refunded my money. I've also had a similar issue a few years ago when I ordered the cool grey 11's for my daughter & the shipper took forever to ship & when they did & goat received them, they turned out to be fake. But goat just ended up finding me a new seller & express shipped them to me. So maybe this is the case & if so they'll more then likely find you a new seller. One thing I hate about goat is that some sellers really take their time. Worse case scenario, they find you a new seller or goat will refund you your money, & yes also sometimes goat customer service takes forever to reply.
This is an easy case. Call your bank and dispute the charge, you did not receive the product you paid for, and you have proof of reaching out to them and them not resolving it/replying. Case closed.

I am getting my military blue tomorrow for $50 over retail, I hope the QC is decent or I will feel buyers remorse. I always get worse than I expect from Flight Club and I gotten fakes before from Poizon. I am nuts for messaging with those reseller websites. I am only dealing with reputable eBay sellers for now on. I hope I have a better experience and the shoes come looking like they came from a retailer all nicely packaged. I am sick of the repackaging they do at those major reseller websites throwing all the paper on the bottom of the shoes and they make it harder to authenticate your self
Thats the one thing i dont like about GOAT. When you buy a shoe without instant ship its almost guaranteed to have an issue. They'll eventually refund your money but it seems like they do everything they can to keep the sale. And theyre way to lenient with sellers

I've been buying from GOAT, eBay, StockX, and Mercari for years. *Never* had any issues with the big 3. On Mercari, sometimes a seller will cancel the sale.. happens. On Mercari, the money is held in escrow until you mark the it "received" so the buyer is never at risk. I've heard folks talk about their snkrs app orders getting clocked by the delivery services (bc of the conspicuous Nike boxes), but that's dishonest crooks working at warehouses, not the platforms.
@hgr.7857 it's not necessarily a major issue each time, but it's always something. It could be something as minor as the seller not shipping on time. Or it could be the order status tracker not updating, so you have to email them for the update. It almost seems like they're trying to push people to do instant ship.

I've ordered shoes that have said order confirmed and weeks later "being shipped to you. they use different shipping companies, and it tends to get weird.
I ordered my pair on GOAT and they arrived about a week ago. No problems for me, thankfully.
Based on what you stated, it feels like an issue with the shipper whether it be UPS, USPS or FedEx.. if GOAT never even got the package from the shipper, then that’s why they are taking a little longer to resolve it.. the package may not have even made it to UPS or whoever.. The situation sounds awful but I would cancel the transaction through your card company if you can.. Those GOAT folks are kinda rock headed sadly but not malicious..

File a chargeback with your credit card company. Usually have up to 4 months. You have 6 months to file a claim if paid threw PayPal. I am 100% positive you will get your money back. Hope this helps..

I had the same issue with StockX around the Laney 14s. Call your bank dispute the charge then they’ll do there research and all that. You’ll get a provisional credit to your account in the amount of whatever you paid then they’ll go after goat and make goat send you the money back then the bank will just go in and get there money back from the provisional credit!!
I’ve had this problem with GOAT as well and it’s not GOAT giving you the runaround it’s the seller! When the sneaker sells the seller will hold onto the sneaker to see if the value goes up and they’ll try to hold the sneaker until goat cancel the order And make a new seller confirm your order meanwhile the first seller doesn’t get penalized for not shipping a sneaker! Doesn’t like the fact the sneakers sold on a low try to hold onto it because the value is increasing now. You will eventually get your sneaker but the same thing happened to me with the Jordan 4 bred reimagines
If they go unresponsive to refunding you or refuse to provide you with an update, I’d contact your credit card company to get your money back. They’ll get you your refund real quick brother. That’s horrible business on their end

I’ve sent two emails the first one they responded and haven’t heard back since and it still says shipment delay. They won’t cancel the order because it says they have 30 days before they have to do anything. I placed my order on 4/2.

I only order from reputable Nike authorized dealers. GOAT, Stock x, and eBay have lost all credibility with me. Also.. always use a credit card. Dispute the charge with your bank.
Happened to me before as well. Something happened with the original seller not sure what could be any number of things. Now Goat is looking for another seller “at no additional cost to you” and then will have that person ship order in for verification. They will probably offer you a $15 discount for future orders since you waited so long. However it seems like you no longer need or want the shoes and you can probably buy them for much cheaper at this point so continue to email them and start contact them in the app to tell them what you want done. They should work with you and allow you to do whatever you want when they obviously have not met their standards and requirements for sales on their platform. Goat is not all what it's made out to be. People love to shit on StockX but in my experience it's never failed me and it has lower prices for the exact same things. It will always confuse me why people would pay more for the exact same product.

Call the BBB on thier ass! When they get involved the company will have 3 or 4 days to respond but actions will be taken if they don’t. BBB has their own lawyers.

Probably came from an overseas seller. I ordered a pair of bio-hack lo flyease joints and the seller was in the UK. Took hella long and I thought I got GOT. Eventually got em after a month and a half and emails every other day. Got refunded the shipping after convincing not to cancel since the order was in transit.

These shoes could easily be sitting at the USPS Palmetto, GA sorting depot. That place has been a mess and a problem for a while. The head guy at USPS just had to appear in front of congress about it. Wife’s company had $60k worth of checks just sitting there for a month.

This happened to me a couple times with Goat. The closest situation to yours is when I ordered the St. John's dunk high from 2022. Long story short, my shoes "got lost" aka stolen by FedEx on the way to me after being verified and shipped from Goat. In your situation I'm thinking maybe this might of happened to your 4's on the way to GOAT and the're trying to find out exactly what's going on. But at the end of day, they will give you your money back or find another seller and maybe give you some GOAT credit if you chat with them.
This happened to twice! For the Jordan 3 white cement release. Same thing Goat ghosted me with poor customer service and follow up. They refunded my first one, and the second one I had to do a charge back on my cc.🤦♂️👎

I would fight to get that order cancelled no matter what there’s no way they can get away with this if I don’t receive my shoe within 2 weeks I would just return them once they come in if you can
Me personally I’ve only dealt with Poizon on one order and it was great. From hearing all the issues with StockX and Goat it has steered me more towards brick and mortar resell shops. Usually the shops have the same shoes I’m looking for or they can source them without the fees and I can negotiate on the fly and if it’s an issue I can get it resolved in 10 min or less not days or through email.

They have to give you your money back or give you your sneakers. It's just that they have a small customer service team and they (again) don't like giving money back. Goat gives the seller a lot of time and grace to send it to the buyer. Side note if you ever buy USED from goat always check to see how many pictures the seller has. If it’s 9 photos then it’s a good seller. 7 photos are either a new seller or a seller that has a sketchy history with goat. If I do happen to buy from goat I go with INSTANT. If it’s a decent enough price difference.

I wouldn’t panic but so far Goat hasn’t scammed you. If at the end of the day you don’t get the shoes then they have to refund you. Lots of orders each day for every company and sometimes this happens. I’m sure you’ve heard horror stories like not getting Travis Scott shoes for a month or more after ordering
They got me with the BRED reimagined....luckily, I got a pair from Nike & legit check them. From there, I was able to prove my case with a bunch of pics and video of legit checking them. I was able to get a full return. The place where they are shipping from is an big indicator. For me, my pair came from Vienna, where the UA/Rep market is huge.
I ordered metallic gold 4s with instant shipping I should’ve waited the pair goat send me got bad glue stains they just sent me the worst pair they had I feel like if I would’ve not rushed shipping I could’ve got a better pair
Contact your bank or credit card company and dispute the transaction, explain to them what is going on and they will take care of it for you & or definitely get you a resolution to your issue.

Eh on the one hand I understand your concern, but on the other hand you haven’t waited long enough to be making a video like this. Some of the next steps depend on what you used to pay for your order… what did you use? Credit card is generally the easiest to get your money back because of the chargeback system but there are still options with other methods.
I’ve had at least 3 to 4 pairs stolen from goat within two weeks they will give me credit and the same with Nike. he can always do a chargeback and get his money back. If you didn’t know he’s just making a video. I’m pretty sure he knows even though he says he doesn’t… GOAT has terrible response and they take a while for them to give you credit

I would hope nobody would consider still doing business with a company they had to file a chargeback against anyway.

After it was taking so long they should have reached out to you, to let you k ow what was going on and ask if you would like to continue waiting or would like to cancel the order. Flipped to get the shoes I wanted BUT... then I ate a $800 loss from fake travis olives, GOAT used the 3 day cancelation window to convince chargebacks that I broke policy. I didnt catch them for a week after receiving since didnt check shoes right away. Lesson: never wait or trust these platforms. I still have them, and only fakes Ill ever own or wear, smh.

Get all the info before u definitively call a company a scam. This sounds more like the issue is with the seller. Either way bring all the facts before hand. I get your frustration & I've dealt with GOAT prior and have been frustrated by their slow communication skills. Plus they treat prerelease quite differently. Wish u good luck on a quick resolution.

Never did and I never will shop from goat, that company always been a joke. Simple fact it’s not a reputable business, I have always heard people including my son talking bad about goat. There’s plenty of actual locations that you can go into and buy used or brand new shoes. Stop shopping on goat bottom line exactly what I told my son.
You will still get your sneakers.... They more than likely flagged the sneaker if the person didn't intercept it. Probably getting them from some other Footlocker or place else. You should get an answer or shipment info back sometime this week. You will more than likely make video when they come in too... But being these were early pairs think they were not as easy this time to come by.

The person who is selling the shoe does not physically have the shoe and is trying to find a pair. GOAT is waiting for the pair and the seller probably created a label to make it seem as if the shoe is gonna be sent soon. GOAT is still waiting on the shoe. This is totally the seller File a claim with your bank
So I had this happen before and it took them a little to respond back and I made new emails and all instead of the same thread and they finally got back and they canceled the sale and refunded me and I had this happened to a friend and they ended up getting the shoe for them. But goat is all I use and threw a few mess ups
