Thanks for the demonstration. I just ordered my first set of chain strainers. Almost everyone in the usa uses a fence stretcher. Is that high tensile barbed wire? I've recently switched to hi tensile smooth wire. Are most fences in australia smooth wire or barbed wire?
At 5:17 you get a good look at the wire used and you can see that it is a reverse twist wire therefore high tensile. This would be either 1.8 or 2.0mm Longlife HT

It varies a whole lot all over Australia, depends where you are in the country!

Barbed wire is mainly for cattle.
