This told me what I needed to know. Was going crazy in the Apps setup menu but now I know the "Move" feature does nothing! It's so simple when you know how. All I did was just hard press the select button on the remote for a few seconds on the App on the home menu and the Move/Remove option came up. From there, it was easy. In previous Samsung TV's I had, the down button on the remote did the same thing. If you just single tap the App it will launch which is not what you want. You heed to hold down the select button until the Move/Remove option appears. Just saying all this because I spent at least 30 minutes or more and watched a lot of disinformation videos before I found this one which did the trick.

Holding the select button on an app on my Home Screen doesn’t give me the move/delete options, it just opens the app. I’m so frustrated.
mine also does that but i eventually got it by pressing the down button
Press the down button
If it does not work, press the lower button!

Yay thank you!!! The one thing to mention is that you have to be on the app screen for this to work. If you are on say Amazon and try to press and hold the select button to move an app say Netflix it will just take you to the Netflix app.

Well thanks for the lil bit of info I didn't know(like how to remove apps from home screen), but came here hoping to find out how to move apps from TV to my Samsung Fit 256k USB drive i just purchased..Unless i have to uninstall the app, then reinstall it there? 🤷

How do you add input sources to the Home Screen alongside the apps? I was able to do this for two of my inputs a while back, but I forgot how to do it.
Could you please tell me what is the storage of the tv you are using. My friend bought a crystal 4k neo 2022 from Amazon which advertised internal storage of 8 gb but the app store is showing total 3.9 gb(used + available) . Just wanted to be clear if that is the case for all samsung tv having 8 gb internal storage before I buy this tv.
doesn't work on the UN43TU8000FXZC, or my remote is just broke, even tho the press and hold works literally every other time

Yep. I just got a 50” tu model and the remote is not a smart remote and the hold down thing doesn’t work. I have an older one and that does work.

Amazing, thanks. Wish there was a way to remove all the bloatware (Rakuten, Joyn, Plex etc.) on my Samsung tv though, it really slows down the UI.

How do I get the list of apps to appear in the quick settings menu at the bottom of the screen when I press the Settings/123 button? I’ve seen the apps list appear in other videos about this tv but when I press it all I get are the settings options or list of numbers.
Filip when we turn on the Samsung TV, it has a delay of 10 seconds before the sound and the picture fully opens. It opens the apps and a small box showing the HDMI channel it is on. Can we get rid of the delay and set it up so the tv turns on like TV's used to do?
