    Hi,
How would I go about solving this question:
    Consider the transformation T : R3 → R3 that projects vectors onto the line l given by x = [0, 0, 0] + t[1, 0, 1], t ∈ R3
    (a) Find a formula for T ([ x,y,z ]), and prove that T is a linear transformation.
    (b) For A the matrix associated to T, describe (justifying your answers)
    (i) the relationship between row(A) and the line l; and
(ii) null(A) as either the trivial subspace {0}, a line through the origin, or a plane through the origin.
    Thanks!
