After getting into more of this actual style I’ve learned the stock ableton aren’t top tier, but they work pretty well to learn how these sounds work together. If you compare this to spitfire or other stuff it’s night and day.
Is there a possibility of giving this as a demo project? This ll help a lot in seeing a breakdown. I can assure that there ll not be a commercial usage. As an ableton enthusiast and beginner, seeing this first hand will teach a lot.
Lovely! I purchased FL Studio a while ago, as they had a lot more instruments / presets. But I must admit, I have not been using it a lot. I find Ableton's way of assigning an Instrument to a track much more intuitive. In FL-Studio an Instrument is bound to a pattern, which I find rather confusing :)
Thanks a lot for your video and tips, Zac! It really helped me improving the sound of my composition using this pack. One question that I wanted to ask you is, if the String Ensembles are playing the same notes, why using two tracks (Pans: 50L and 50R) instead of using one single track with Pan in 0?
This is great! i have been using the orchestral sounds from Kontakt's Factory library, but will get this pack and give it a try, sounds perfect! Good Job Man!
would love to see one of your psy productions from scratch! you should link up with sonic academy and do a tutorial. your music was very well represented at Dreamstate Socal, you're up 'next' on the scene!
Thanks for sharing mate. are these VSTIs built in in Ableton like logic and gerageband? or is there any complex process to install them with cracks and all that stuff?
Would love one on how to structure or create chords.. im trying to focus on production at the moment and im struggling with building a chord progression with bass and trebly elements
Did you produce that orchestral track with standard Ableton Live, Suite or an additional library? I am debating which Ableton Live package to buy based upon the orchestral implements included. Great track and good luck in the future!
Rob Butler these orchestral packs come with ableton live suite. Don’t buy the packs seperate because you’ll be spending much more than if you were to buy suite with the one time price!! Aside from that, suite just comes with a ton of other things that you won’t be disappointed with! save longer and go for suite, I cant stress it enough!! Or go for standard now to get a feel, then upgrade to suite later on. That’s another thing a lot of people do.
Question The package that you are talking about downloading for free, is that something that includes those string sounds or is it just for adjusting the attack/release while using stock ableton sounds? Also, are you using Ableton Suite or Standard? Very good smooth transitions between notes. Any response is appreciated. Thanks.
That is a pack that comes with Ableton Suite, it can also be purchased on its own for 159. And it looks like those parameters for attack and release comes with the pack along with the string sounds.
Did they put the Olympus voice in Live 10 (I have the trial version = 1 month of the pro Ableton for free) ? I can't find it. And thanks for this video ! Really helpful ! One more question, how do you do crescendo ?
ok but where did you get all the instruments such as strings/voices for ableton. because i bought a version of it and it doesnt have any of this, and neither do the more expensive ones. very disappointing. great software, doesnt have very standard things included, I.E. cello? violin? should be part of it 100%. even garage band has it.
What is the name of the pack? I don't find a free orchestral pack that contains strings and also french horns???? Is it included in the $499 Ableton suite only?
There is not so much point making the video if the orchestral pack in not revealed. No-one can use it or do anything. Perhaps you would feel the same yourself?
Hi Zac, this is amazing stuff! How can I get in touch with you about your filmmaking score powers? I'm a director from Amsterdam creating a shortfilm. Now, I'm looking for talented people to work with. Find us at www.fb.com/shortfilmcolors
Hey Zac Waters, I've started out an electro music channel about a month and a half ago, would you like me to upload some of your tunes there for promotion?? This channel also has a Facebook page, have a look!
The choir sounds are fantastic! - especially the vowel adjustments.
Before getting Abelton, I wanted to hear what the orchestra sounded like, thank you! :)
Mind blowing that all these sounds are coming from midi
The audio is coming from samples, triggered by midi... But yeah, it's awesome.
Well yeah they aren't synthesized orchestral sounds
Thank you for sharing your work. Gorgeous! Love it.

The Beginning is already Epic!!!

kedarkeskar no because you would try to take his credit
Of course not friend. I was not asking for the whole project. Just the things he has explained in this video. Anyway.
kedarkeskar why don’t you just copy it then
I am not able to see the breakdown. You can explain better in a new video. I do not mind doing it on my own.
Amazing tutorial! Thank you!
Lovely!

Its so beautiful.......
Fantastic Tips there!! Thank You for this!
That's some inspiring music there.
Wtf you really made that with ableton.. really impressive
That beat is sooo sick
Tip- gentle side chain your synths to your bass riff. This will un-muddy the overall song
Very well done

what other videos would you like to see me upload to this channel?
comment your suggestions!
Zac Waters how you structure a song. Chord progression and melody creation, just composition in general. loving some of your melodies at the moment
Would love one on how to structure or create chords.. im trying to focus on production at the moment and im struggling with building a chord progression with bass and trebly elements

Layering lows mids and highs... kick and bass tutorial. Making a drop tutorial. Thanks for the first lesson!really opened my eyes.

Did you play the notes on a keyboard?
Bravo Super!!!!!
Zac, do you have any videos on tweaking brass to sound really expressive? Using Ableton Live 10 with East West Symphonic.
mateee good videoooo! butt.. buy a mic with pop filter pliz HAHAHAHA
Does the pack work in ableton lite?
Thank you really helpful!
Nice job Zac. Especially considering that you are not using high end strings liker Spitfire or East West.
aren't they spitfire built-in in 11?
you're very very impressive !
Nice
This is great 👍🏻
What’s the name of this string pack?
Question

amazing.....
Super talented. The next Hans Zimmer
how good is the sound compared to "real" sample libraries?
Is that with Live or Suite for the orchestral pack? Sounds awesome!
only available on suite.
Did they put the Olympus voice in Live 10 (I have the trial version = 1 month of the pro Ableton for free) ? I can't find it. And thanks for this video ! Really helpful ! One more question, how do you do crescendo ?
From what I see I believe the DAW he is using is live 10
Got the live 9 suite but can't find the pack? Should i log into the website and download it? Thought it was included by default.
Edim Go to ableton.com, your useraccount, licenses. There are all packs you own.
Do you think these sounds already come with Ableton Suite?
Yes, there are a ton of "packs" that come for free when you purchase Ableton Live Suite. Check put their website.
Yes man if you buy suite you’ll get lots of sounds as the guy in here also said, packs. In orchestra you get strings, brass, woodwinds etc
Do you know if Ableton Live 10 essentials will have these instruments or is only in standard - suite ?
if you've bought suite these packs are free to download from the ableton website, go to the account tab and you'll see "available packs"
You didn't let us hear the finished product! :)
didnt you hear it at the start
ok but where did you get all the instruments such as strings/voices for ableton. because i bought a version of it and it doesnt have any of this, and neither do the more expensive ones. very disappointing. great software, doesnt have very standard things included, I.E. cello? violin? should be part of it 100%. even garage band has it.
that’s included in suite
Yea boi
what's the name of the pack ?
Already play guitar, pretty well even. Trying to learn violin
Does it contain French horns? You know horns that Hans Zimmer uses for his epic cinematic drama?
yes it does
What is the name of the pack? I don't find a free orchestral pack that contains strings and also french horns???? Is it included in the $499 Ableton suite only?
I want to learn Orchestration please, Do you have any suggestions for that , please reply
Satish Sahu LAYERING! All of the orchestral instruments combined will make one massive sound.
Thank you, Aussie Jared Leto
Where can i get this orchestra pack
Everyone asks that question myself included. Where is that free pack???
I need to download this was that an original man?
Als project please man?
Do you find this instruments to be a little bit of a cpu hog?
Give us a actual download link and I will leave a like.

If you are just starting out learning music theory and/or production, I would suggest learning piano instead of a stringed instrument.
No, to start with tambourine is much better
piano is a stringed instrument...but i know what you mean and i agree.
@@alexxtzr6806 piano is a stringed, keyboard & percussion instrument! we pianists are soooo clever! :-)
@@zenarobinson3851lol :D
Hey mate please give us the project als for free. Thank you
There is not so much point making the video if the orchestral pack in not revealed. No-one can use it or do anything. Perhaps you would feel the same yourself?
it only comes with the full version of ableton, which i would recommend. www.ableton.com/en/packs/orchestral-strings/
aha
But Suite doesn't come with Olympus Elements, does it?
Nope, Suite doesn't come with Olympus Elements.... it's an extra.

It's 130 euro it's not free
You said it...not much. Why don't you use something like Digital Performer or Cubase for orchestral? Those are more practical for orchestral.
Hey Zac Waters, I've started out an electro music channel about a month and a half ago, would you like me to upload some of your tunes there for promotion?? This channel also has a Facebook page, have a look!
