Have a mind mapping tool that you love to use? Be sure to share it in the comments!
Imindmap 9 by tony buzan
I know a mind mapping tool that I really love using. It is GitMind. it was introduced to me by my friend when i need an online diagram maker for my class. Its really helpful and easy to use. What's more is that it is totally free so everyone can enjoy making a diagram.

@@robinwilliams6568 Thanks Robin your comments saved my time, Gitmind is best who wants it free.
@@robinwilliams6568 that's free only for few days. Later, we have to pay
Mindomo is a great option too. Thanks for this video, Scott!
About 20 years ago, Inspiration was my favorite mind mapping application, but the Inspiration Software, Inc. discontinued Japanese supporting.
Now I use and recommend Simplemind because of its multi OS platforms, languages, and cloud drives supporting stance.
Totally agree and the pricing is great.
Can I set up to collect "hours" and "minutes" on one of these types of mind maps to download on Excel to total and then graph for each box?
Wow, so benefits 👍
Great job
I think i will start using one of these! Very useful! ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
I started to use Taskade for mind mapping due to its user-friendly interface, collaboration features, and integrations. Also they recently launched an AI feature.
Just visited none of them have good free version
Always asking for upgrading
Coggle gives watermark :(
Hi I thought u would cover mindmup an add on of Google drive
Hello great video. Do you have anything that creates timelines? I am sure one of these programs can make one but are there others that specifically deals with timelines? Thank you
Of the three here, Draw.io will allow you to create a number of different timeline formats.
Try "Taskade" it has the option for timelines (similar to Grantt Charts) but with minimal options.
Xmind, and Miro -- worth to look at as well
Thanks for sharing.
thank you , but please if you could minion about the pricing .. if this apps could used free??
Hey Scott, what about android variants?
How much do these run cost wise?
I like SCAPPLE which is not free but very inexpensive. It lets you move things anywhere, it does not auto-arrange, which I kind of like. I think it comes in either Windows or Apple PC version, I don't think it has a web version.

I'm the kind of person who has a lot of thoughts that need to be organized and have found Ryeboard most helpful for me.
- I can write out my thoughts and map them with documents much easier
- I felt other tools were too constraining
Hope this helps!
Thanks for sharing!
Reboard is like witeboard interesting....
Is there a mind mapping tool where I can link calendar events directly to the nodes? Some tools (e.g. MindMeister) allow to create tasks - but then in order to dedicate a time slot to work on it, you have to do it from scratch since you cannot convert a task to event (at least on g-calendar). Thanks!

simplemind
Most mind map applications are just mind map producers, but as mentioned before, SimpleMind has the possibility you are asking for and the connection to Google Calendar. My favourite is AYOA because it has the possibility to change views from Mindmap to Kanban, Gantt chart/timeline and Whiteboard, but the downside is the price, though for me it's worth it. I use it on Mac and iPad/iPhone with alerts on Apple Watch, but it's also available on Windows, Android and as a web-version. I use it for personal productivity, idea bank and project planning. For me it surpringly replaces Taskade, Asana, Trello, Milanote and MIRO. But on the other hand if you are looking for a software solution which you can tweak to your liking, I guess a separate mind map application together with ClickUp or Notion could do the trick.
❤️ In Mind Mapping, Key Word is very important… 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Are aby of these free?
I was surprised to not find XMind in this video. From all the mind mapping tools I know and that can be used for free, it is really the best I think.
It seems that Xmind is not free when you want to activiate some intesresting features. No ?
@@visualbrain5810 it has some presentation features in the premium version and maybe some extra icons and templates I think.
good jobs
Xmind on the PC and SimpleMind on my android devices
Thanks for sharing.
Miro is a good one.
Simplimindlite is a great tool too
MindNode is the one I use. Is the "Things 3" of mind mapping tools.
SergioRacoon Agreed!
I would love mind mapping software that's completely free.
I have been searching for a good mindmapping tool, and I have been using FreeMind, an open source application, on my PC. It is free and have some great features like drag and drop a branch to another branch. It is not a perfect tool but I have yet to find a good alternative to FreeMind.

Is there any mind mapping tool that allows me to store more charts and notes inside a chart?

What editor did you use for this video?
I use Camtasia for most of my videos.
I use Axon200 (aka Axon2013), and have for over a decade, close to 2
Can you do mind mapping apps available for android?
Hi, I’m looking at starting mind mapping. I’m not finding much comparative, condensed information. I don’t have time to teach myself or trial them all.
I have a wish list.
Available on all platforms, I have windows pc and iPad / iPhone
I would like to add sketches/ drawings/ photos and files to my maps
Can I make my nodes into deeper level branches with multiple layers for more complex maps
Are there any mind maps that are able to integrate with Ai?
Can I sync my google drive?
Can I sync my email ( I use outlook)
I’m just getting started on this wish list, any suggestions would be appreciated. A short video of the above would be the dream
Thanks for your comments, John. 2 additional tools you might want to look into are Miro and XMind.
Mind Manager since +15 yrs incorporated with GTO methodology
The new one on the market is Ayoa..
iThoughts is awesome.
Thanks for sharing!
Why no one ever mention Miro in mind mapping tool.
It's the only app you'll ever need, for "any" kind of works....
Thanks for sharing, Kumar.
I use Xmind
Thanks for sharing.
love from korea. thanks
These all look pretty simplistic and limited. If you want a free program that has significantly more power then Personal Brain is perfect.
Link please?
@@dale68881 Thanks. Seems to be good, but no mobile app, sadly.
@@dianacampbell6336 there is a mobile app for android anyway as I use it myself. It's a bit harder to use as the screen is smaller but I still find it very useful for how I use it.
@@dianacampbell6336 They’ve done a good job at creating a mobile version for iPhone and iPad
I use xmind.
Hi
Hello everyone
@@dayaramraghuwanshi8144 hello hello
Don't you think it's unbelievable that even in 2022 there is no software that combines text and concept/mind maps to take notes?
Stay tuned, Luis. In tomorrow's new video, I'll show you how to take notes along with a number of other ways to use mind mapping software.
@@Simpletivity Great!!, I'll be looking forward, thanks for answering :)
Kak makai lapar
Excuse me! That's not a mind map! That's just "flow chart" as u called it! A Minnd Map is much more than just 'multi directinal texts' !
thebrain.com is much better and free
completely useless (at least as you present it) long before you can even start doing actual work. ideating / belief only. Not even self-convincing enough to transform a person into being something.
