Yep. Always wanted the sunroof model when I was younger and didn't have one. In the years since my first car I've since had 4 cars with them. It's cool until you come out to your car after a heavy rain and there's an inch of standing water in your passenger footwell...
I've had Si, a VX and a CX EG's. I'd probably rather not have it, but having it is pretty nice. Open it up and floor your B or K swap though an underpass--good fun! Factory cruise control is only available on the Si, so that's pretty cool too. It might suck if problems start to occur because I assume EG moonroof parts are getting scarce.
Restotuner has all to OEM stickers for the entire chassis. Also 7 minutes in and I placed my order. The tool cart would be cool but the si would fit perfectly with 97 sedan and 97 del Sol.

This Civic is going to be so gangster. While the newer Honda build ideology certainly has it's place, I prefer this old school methodology. I'm from the same time period as Tommy so it resonates better to me.
Seeing josh tear it down then seeing all of the parts and bay get painted then the car get reassembled in such a short amount of time will be so satisfying 👌👌

The Koni/GC setup is still undefeated for a solid street/track setup for the price followed by the more Budget Tokico/GC setup. Excited to see some OEM plus Honda content, not much for us who aren’t all 600hp Honda guys
Also Dseries ac compressor bracket is needed to mount the dseries compressor to your b16, the em1 ps pump should interchange with the d16? Shouldn’t be too bad may need em1 or integra ps hoses

I love how I bought a 1996 Honda Civic DX with 80k miles for $2k and it’s just as clean as this car. Legitimately the best deal I’ve ever gotten on a car.
Edit: my car is also un molested. It’s rust free everything works. All I did was a tune up and refreshed the suspension.

Use a 97 01 Crv ac bracket and then u can run the ac compressor that’s on the single cam may need a different belt but that’s the easy part run factory ac lines and all

Paint the ITR Wheels in Gunmetal. I am a old Honda Boy as well & I had a EK Hatch Milano Red w/GSR Swap & ITR 5 Lug w/Gunmetal ITR Wheels & Red Recaro SRD Seats. Miss that Hatch & wish I still had it. Also had Ground Control w/Koni Yellow Shocks as well. I also had a J'Blood Front Bumper but dang I wish I still had that Hatch haha but excited for this build.

Use a del sol b series ac bracket. It fits a single cam ac compressor on a b series motor. I forgot the part number for the bracket.

what brakes are you running? if you really wanna go oem+ i’d suggest itr calipers with base model mini cooper rotors and tsx brake pads, best bang for buck big brake setup on those cars.
and also all you need to use the civic a/c and power steering is the a/c and power steering brackets from an integra.
What are you guys doing for cooling system on that eg ?! And did you say u were throwing brakes at it ?!

It's very common terminology. As cars that hold or are increasing in value are targeted with tactics like dash replacements, rolling back the odometer, engine swaps, vin tampering, and the list goes on. "Original miles" in car culture simply means the entirety of the vehicle has only endured the actual amount of miles indicated.

Get a oem itr header, best oem Honda header ever. Make sure you get the oem itr intake arm, and CT engineering “ice box” intake all oem plus parts. And if you could splash some feels’ or spoon parts on it also that would be so awesome

I have a 709 whp EJ8 Civic coupe with a fully built LSVTEC, a GSR transmission with an upgraded OBX LSD and a LS 5th gear, a GT3582R turbo, Skunk2 Stage 3 cams, fully built B16B head with all Skunk2 parts, and it runs on a Hondata S300 V3. I have an AP2 S2k cluster, a carbon fiber Nardi steering wheel, and a set of red JDM ITR Recaro seats. I also painted it EM1 Electron Blue Pearl. You'd love it Tommy. There's close to $15k under the hood.

I used to have a 1995 Civic EG3. I loved it but it was riddled with rust and I didn't have the skills or the means to repair it. In the end, I sold it for a symbolic price so that it could get the help it deserved. I haven't seen or heard about it in a long time, I hope it's still running somewhere.

AC....You need 97-01 CRV AC Bracket, PS you need the VTEC Upper PS mount, and any B lower, You'll need a p72 obd1 PS pump
