I have seen this pattern done many times Rachel but never like you placed yours with the white all around. It really does look like a real grandmothers flower garden quilt. I have always wanted to make one but don't hand piece. Now I can't wait to get started to make it like you did. Thank you so much for this tutorial.
What a beautiful quilt this is. So easy the way you show how to do it. You have great calmness about you. Even though there is lots to cut up and plan, you made it feel doable. Missouri Star is a great company, and I bought my first lot a couple of months ago. Dam car has taken my sewing budget for the last few weeks, but once I get over that, I will be buying more from them. Thank you, Rachel for sharing this. ❤🎉😊
Rachel....this is so pretty!! I love the jelly rolls you used. I love Lori's hush fabrics. I use it often for the low volume backgrounds in my projects. You can make a Beautiful cushion with the left overs...❤ keep up the good work. You are so inspiring. ❤❤
I have a Strawberry Lemonade jelly roll and the Tiddly winks pattern from Moda but not what I want really. So thank you for sharing this video and now I know what I will do with my jelly roll.
I love this. I was trying to do the EPP hexagons in a similar way with various Lori Holt backgrounds. I’m so new to quilting that I wasn’t sure I was doing it right. I think I’ll go back to it now after seeing your big quilt. I would absolutely love to make one of yours using the tool and machine sewing. Beautiful quilt!
This is so adorable and looks like so much fun to make! Can’t wait to see it finished! I have the template. I have an EPP version I’m working on from time to time that is also fun. But your version is much bigger and so will get done much quicker. I love all the stuff you make! 🌷
As I watched you my mind turned to mush ! I could just see it all tangled and off. Then I remembered you telling me how my Alice 100 squares would smooth out and get easier. Well you are right! I just finished the 50th square and it was a dream to put together. Thanks for your encouragements! This one is not for me but really enjoyed the video and your new chair. Do you get to keep the new machine? Hope so. Jean Colorado USA
So pretty! Were those overalls I saw in one of the low volumes? Super cute! I have a similar ruler and uhh... a few jelly rolls lying around. I've added it to my "want to make" list. You might need to do the Ruby Star one too, because I'd love to see it 😂💗
Sooo pretty 😍 Great use use of a jelly roll. I’ve done the hexie framed pattern by Emily Dennis and also a scrappy one 🥰 Now I want to make the grandmothers flower garden 🪴 ❤
Hi Rachel....Love your channel and I've already made many of the hexagons for a Grandmas Garden. I just have to put them together now to create a table runner. I was wondering if you have any Fall theme projects? I love the Maple Leaf pattern block and I plan to make a Fall Table Runner for my kitchen table. Tks for any suggestions you can make. Cheers from sunny FL :)
It's coming along quite nicely. I am interested to see how you finish the outside edges. I made a hexagon quilt that fits my queen size bed and I decided I will never make another quilt. See you soon.
@@stitchwithrachel I get it. When I made mine I did it the hard way keeping the hexagons full. You are doing it the better way. You have great talent in sewing.
Beautiful Rachel! I have been holding on to a Kaffe Fassett layer cake with a few FQs and plan to make a hexi quilt (Hexie Bloom pattern by Cotton and Joy), but have been intimidated to get started. You made this look easy, so I may just get cutting once my template arrives. Thanks! 😊
Hi Rachel, I loved the tutorial. I noticed that you had a log cabin quilt in the background. Have I missed something? I'm looking to do a log cabin and that quilt looked wonderful. From Central Victoria, Australia.
Hi Rhonda, the log cabin quilt on the back on the sofa was the second quilt I ever made, it's lasting well! It's just a bunch of 2" scraps with sashing and corner stones between them. ❤️
I notice that you get a lot of things from Missouri Star, isn’t the postage and duty quite high when ordering from the US? I have always been too worried about the shipping costs to order from there even though I would love to.
I am lucky to be one of their affiliates, so that means they send me stuff for marketing purposes. The postage is a flat fee of £30 which is pretty high but sometimes their deals make it worth while, especially when they have lots of sales ❤️

What a great tip you are giving all of us. I never seen this before and I have been quilting for a long time.😊❤
Gorgeous ! What a seemingly quick way! Thank you for sharing

Lovely tutorial. I feel like I might get confused on joining the rows 😊.

Enjoyed this! I may make this😊. It would take me a bit as I do everything by hand..,

This looks like fun. I had to,order both the template and a jelly roll, but thankfully, there are many on sale right now.❤️
There's some good bargains isn't there!

Thank you, I plan to just square off the edges. The top and bottom are already flat so I'll just trim the points off the side for ease 💕

Yeah just jump in! We hold onto fabrics for the perfect project sometimes, but any quilt would be beautiful
