Thanks man, but do you remember the Volksrod last year? That one was far worse than this when it came to the wiring LOL! I still have a big knotted mess of copper from that thing that I extracted!
Thars what i really like about your videos, you share the issues with replacement parts and solve the issue on the fly! As far as my opinion on the background noise, un less you are in the dream shop you want to work in , you will hear the neighbors. Even with other UA-cam mechanics that have their own shop you still hear the lawnmower guy or the countertop guys in the next garage. Your noise if i remember correctly is a school down the street and a few noises from the neighbors. We can hear you speak just fine! You just answered my compressor question, Thank You!
I know you don't like super beetles. You make no secrets about that. Lol. I have a 74 super beetle now. I recently sold my restored 65. Though the 74 super isn't as popular as my 65. They are, I'm my opinion. Way nicer driving vws. Love the super Beetle. Almost as much as my 71 fastback type 3. Thats my 2 cents. 😊 . Good video Lord Duckman. Noel
Tree or something in the power line causing a short. The breaker protecting that section of line is turning off to see if fault goes away. It will typically turn off three times for a few seconds or longer. The forth time the breaker opens and turns power off it will stay off until the lineman finds and repairs line.
That's pretty much what it did, three. Then it went out and stayed out. Then it came back on and stayed on for a bit a little while later when I recorded the opening.... then went out again and stayed out. That's about when I found where the accident was.
Yeah they don't even call, or they call weeks later. The last 10 years especially, people have become completely irresponsible. But they sure talk down on me if I'm not available to help them.
Self entitled narcissistic generations. I was watching a court TV case and the defendant while totally guilty of breaking the law kept repeating “but I am a person…” Well, we all are persons; what’s that got to do with you f’ing up! 🙄🙄🙄
I always take my wheels off the car and bring them to tire place to get tires to new tires mounted for the same reason you mentioned. I got screwed over too many times.
Yeah that's great when I can do that. When I got tires on Ruby, I wouldn't let them touch the car unless I was actually in the shop next to them. I just knew they would put the lift under the wrong spot and crush the car or do something really dumb
Good job duckman and quit your complaining. Haha just kidding, it wouldn't be you without it, like Pete from Moab who cusses all the time it's art of the show. Love Pete and Mini the bodyshop girl
It sure made one hell of a racket... that sound carried through a very quiet and still night at 4am when nobody's on the road, and the town was otherwise dead.... it was dark... VERY DARK! Anyway, that took out a pretty large swath of town, when I drove around trying to find it, I couldn't believe how dark it was and how far!
@richardbrowne3641 usually when the power goes out here you don't hear anything, except maybe a thunder crash LOL! About 2 years ago a tall truck took out the lead at the end of the street and really made a mess of things. Other than the beeping of all my battery equipment, it was quiet out there.
Hello Mr. Duck, My name is Richard Stallworth I'm from Pensacola, but living in Savannah, ga . I need your help with my 1972 convertible karman ghia.the front nose and passenger side fender has both been damaged in and accident. Can you place them for me if I bring you the car? Please think about it!
I can't believe they sheared the telephone pole off at the ground level.... lol... I've seen a big truck do that, but never a Lexus! They must have been going pretty fast

Almost done with this thing! YAY!
Just keep plugging along on this car Duckman, it will end sometime!! We are glad that you have the patience for this kind of work!
Thanks Robert! I apprecaite it! It's almost ready for a first test drive!

I bought my compressor after watching your review on it about a year ago. Love it.
That thing is killer! I use it a few times a week for all this time, it hasn't failed me!
Wow it was in a lot of loose pieces. Stupid beatles are not too bad of cars. Seen worse before.
Oh man,, this car was nothing but loose pieces, it barely stood up under its own weight LoL !

That vwoop was a electric transmormer or a electronic microwave radio wave torchering device. But ended up being a car accident.
