Ahh!!! Not only the trouble of translating, but context and content!!! Minami must be one of the most valuable asset to putting it in print!! Many thanks, again, keep up your spirit, don’t give up// I’m counting on you! This is a first for publishing classical war manuals from a forgotten time. Your task is momentous. Domo arigato gozaimasu! Hope to hear more from you and your crew!👍
Thanks for the informative recap. When you described skill or idea of shimyouken (not sure if I spelled it correctly), in my view, somewhat resembles the notions and the philosophy John Boydd (OODA-loop etc.) from the military sciences perspective.
Hey Ant! quick question, what is the meaning behind Natori's kamon? I understand they are similar to family crests or coat of arms. Any symbolism or significance in the Natori kamon? Thanks!!
Antony Cummins>>> May be an inappropriate time to ask this, but would you some day enlighten us about the amatsu tatara-scrolls and what shinriki nenkatsu is? Sorry for me being curious...
@D'lish Donut got the book, the short answer is yes... The long answer is "most things are either super outdated, specific to japan in their time period or ilegal to practice... But still there are enough cool stuff you can try from there"
So historical shinobi no jitsiu is no longer that when it becomes adapted for the present day technological options. But as for the more broad, philosophical, or even spiritual principles and world views of historical shinobi manuals that you speak of, do they not still apply to the life of a seasoned modern special forces soldier?
WRITEN BY two difents samurai one was full samurai written both on samurai and shinobi no mono other written only shinobi no mono shoinki only 30 page on ninjutsu bansenshuki have more ninjutsu in it one was iga nother koka might get all three books
So true! I like how you take in count the culture it was written in and see it from their eyes, not with a modern view.

Facinating stuff.
Is the bansenshukai specific enough to recreate at least in part the skills of shinobi?
