I purched dioblo tunner 2 In total. One dodge and the other jeep hemi 5 7. Just purchase a third vehicle 2018 durango. I have noticed through trial and error I experienced the most noticeable gain with 87 tune plus cold air intake. Use 89 gasoline should kinda give it a lil more kick. Great review by the way bro!👍🏾
That’s awesome to hear! I’ve been hesitant on the cold air intakes bc I’ve seen some reviews of them coming loose when driving and it just sounds like a headache but I’m really interest in the AFE cold air intake and since my hood has the vents I’d get the one with the covered enclosure. And thanks man I have to post some more videos!
@Chris Favarolo so 3months ago you installed the diablosport with pcm at 93 octane tune, now after 3 months do you notice any difference how's the transmission holding up?? One of my friends suggest I get a tcm along with the pcm because the transmission module has to calibrate for the newly pcm tuning especially during high speeds like 120-180 that's where tuning and pcm swaps are useful. Idk anyone that just gets a pcm swap for giggle to just do 0-60's. That's unusual, I'd like to know how to car shifts and performs at high speeds does it ride the redline still or does it actually properly shift like 8speed transmissions you'd all know if you had a 5 speed before. Just saying at 8th gear you should be at a good 150mph easily running a mid 6450rpms. But idk because nobody's got the balls enough to show the full performance of the diablosport pcm swap and tune during high speeds. Once I get mine I'll be doing a full indepth video of the installation and going to the track in STL speedway.
Curious to know how things are going weeks did you settle in with the new tune , exshaust ect.. update bro. I have same set up just with afe air intake.
Things are still going good with the tune. Maybe will do an update I got the afe cold air intake too now just slapped it on. Sounds more throatier and definitely sounds less restricted.
Beautiful Durango! Picking up a 19 myself! So I was just curious what exhaust system you were rockin and if that was just the standard non custom Diablo tune?
You said 27 HP gain - do you think that's crank or wheel HP gains? I went to the website and they don't even provide any numbers. I just installed an AFE Scorcher GT module for like $300. It seems faster and better shifts on my '21 Durango RT, Tow N Go. Not sure if I want to remove the AFE module and install this tune or what...?
Was thinking about buying the diablo sport tuner and do the 93 octane tune but would that mess my rt motor up sense it takes 89 gas ? Can you please reply back
U just do the tune when ur tank is almost empty and then fill it up with 93. Mine took 89 too. Now it’s tuned for 93 so now it takes 93 you understand now?
Are you going to get a custom tune? The first time I did was with only an exhaust and cai mod at first. I purchased that tune from Hemifever. It was a lot better than the canned tunes. Its no 392, but to me it was a night and day difference from the Diablo tunes and stock.
@Benard Minace I agree. The preloaded tunes I didn't notice anything really. Yes, for the stock tune, and then the tb, cai, and longtubes, with Borla Atak 3" catback, Hemifever updated that same tune no additional cost with the transmission tune. Then, I noticed a huge difference in power. Throttle was great, and an increase in power throughout my rpms as well. He did start up tune for my cam. Then I took it for a dyno tune.
Post top speed fammooo lol I'm sure my car will be great with it as the previous owner had done several mods already like performance GIBSON headers and exhaust with cold air intake 93, I just need that govoner removed 😀

I had a pedal commander on my dd for about 6yrs and it f'd with my Trans and had to replace it. Then it went and put me into limp mode, I removed it and now my dd is awesome again.
I have the borla s type exhaust I love it. Cold starts have a nice growl and then settles down to a nice purr once warm. And again nice classy growl when u press the gas hard it’s not obnoxious.
Thanks for watching! So what I did was order the “Diablo tuner w/ pcm swap” thinking it would come with a pcm but it didn’t. I had to go on Holley and add an unlocked pcm to my shopping cart for free! $0. Then u receive their unlocked pcm and u have like a month to send your pcm to them or u get charged $600 to keep your stock oem pcm
Some people get scared about swapping the pcm it’s a grey area for warranty claims 😬so if u wanna keep ur old one in case something happens youd just pop the old one in and play stupid I guess to the claims dept 🤣
I have a 21 rt and consistently run5.4-5.8 0-60. Not sure I saw you turn your traction control off. I don’t have any tune or anything so it’s not terrible for the size of tv e vehicle
@@clarenceyoung4701 That’s a good question. I don’t really have an answer for that. I just make sure tractions off I press the brake some and try root le some to just 2k rpm let go of the brake and then floor it. Pretty standard I think? Also I mainly run 0-60 with just eco off and traction off. Sport mode to me makes it feel like it hesitates or chokes right when you try to floor it from a stop. Just personal opinion I guess. 5.4 is the best I’ve gotten. Good weather good straight road without so many potholes, etc (my area usually doesn’t have fantastic roads). Newer tires at the time. Thank you brotherr. Save ur money lol. Exhaust was worth it though.
A SECOND off of 0-60 is a humongous gain. Yes. Sheesh dude. Put a supercharger in it if you think it's "slow".
If I told you you could reduce your 1/4 mile time by TWO SECONDS - you'd think that's incredible. Which is exactly what you now have.
