THANK YOU SO MUCH. Both Google and Microsoft make it so difficult even for web developers to find out how to get basic stuff up. I mean I spent 3 hours with a Microsoft support agent just trying to claim a listing.

Thanks for the help. Year 2024. Mine was not changing and I found it was because the image file was too high resolution. I resized it to a smaller resolution and it worked for me.

Unfortunately It doesn't work 100% of the time. If you delete the current photo it will be replaced automatically by another one

Hi, when i get to the website option and click on edit, it doesn’t show the manage my business with google option. Like it showed in the video, any idea why?
It sounds like the option is not available to you. You might want to ask Google for some help: support.google.com/business/gethelp
When attempting to post an image update on Google, I have found that the recommended image size of 760px x 760px does not seem to work. Despite this being the size suggested in the help section, I am experiencing issues. Do you have any advice on how to properly post images on Google?

cool hack, but do you have any idea why google selects photo from my photo library correctly for the desktp version of business listing and even mobile business listing but when it comes to google maps it picks a random image linked to my business from 15 years ago ? i cant see anyway to change this
Not sure why google would do that. Try deleting the 15 year old img. Hopefully google will replace it with something more suitable
@@rankingacademy Sadly the image it pulls is from an old blog post from Toyota regarding the fleet of vehicles we purchased so we don't have any control over the image.
Hello! I have a question: Previously we could publish Google sites that already contained photos, post, titles and everything. We could go and publish it from the dashboard. But now when we manage GBP from google search, we don't see the publish button of the readymade Google site. Where Can I find this option? Please let me know. I will be waiting for your reply!
Login to your profile. From the in search interface click on edit info ---> from the pop up click on contact--> then scroll down to the website option ---> click on edit. You should now see an option that says manage your website with google. Just click on manage. You should be able to publish your site from there

Hi! I'm trying to remove an existing photo that I previously added but can't find the option to remove existing pics (this isn't the cover photo, but just one of the regular photos!) any idea thanks!
Just click on the cover photo of your listing. This will bring up all the photos currently posted on your profile. Select the photo you want to delete. In the top right hand side corner of the photo click on the recycle bin to delete the photo.

I'm service based, no location. Was Hybrid but changed. Now the google streets view won't go away.

@rankingacademy I was hybrid and changed to service provider. But the street image still shows up. I think Google might get around to it eventually just not sure. I would be happy to show you if this is video content idea.

Kind of. If you delete the current photo it will be replaced by another one. Hopefully something you like
There's no Manage button under my Google website link in the Edit dashboard. I don't understand. I want to change the header image.
Sounds like a bug to me. I suggest you reach out to google so it gets fixed: support.google.com/business/gethelp

How man, I can't seem to change the profile logo for some reason. It just appears as the default blue head to the left of the business name. The email account that owns the business profile does have a picture but that is not inherited either.

@@rankingacademy just to be clear I'm not talking about the banner picture you're referring to in this video. Just the circular small logo to the left of the business name within your business profile.
I don't get the cover or logo option. That's the issue. I need to change my logo photo but it's just Add Photo. No other options.

It means they think your business is spam or it’s too new, sadly. Learnt this the hard way.
Now free website option is also not showing for new businesses.
This feature has been very buggy lately and it looks like google might be removing it. Best option is to raise the issue with the google business community support here: support.google.com/business/community
ok so where is the cover photo/ about 10 different locations for a photo in google business. thx i want to change the profile picture on google search
Jut login to your profile in google and click on the add photo icon. From the pop up click on add photo cover. Then add the photo you want
It is not working in 2024! Apparently, Google is removing the website builder. I can't do this trick, there's no info about any Google-related website to manage, and the field is empty. Any help, please?
Correct, google announced a couple of days ago they will be shutting down websites made with Business Profiles on the 01st of march 2024. So i doubt they will be any work around for changing the cover photo
Sadly this trick hasn’t worked for me either. I am having the same problem someone else did with it not being an option to manage site. Maybe Google already changed it on their in.
I tried it yesterday and it still works. Unfortunately it's not 100% proof
My google business profile is suspended over a month now. I have submitted reinstate form twice and they still haven't reinstate my account. I have received a reply saying my business profile doesn't meet quality guidelines. Will you be able to help ?
I won't be able to help unfortunately. If google haven't reinstated your listing it's because it doesn't abide by the guidelines so there is nothing more I could do.

Is there a new hack for the maon picture now? This one dosnt work anymore... for me anyways. There is no free google websites anymore... for me in canada anyways. The amin image google chose is usless!!! It seem the free google sites is for China only now... so weird. This hack worked on my old profile, but not now.

After several attempts using various methods it is still not working. I have been trying for weeks if not months but no changes are made.
Sadly this tip doesn't work 100% of the time. If you don't like the picture google has picked for you I suggest you delete it

@@rankingacademy In the past we were able to specify a photo that this is a exterior or interior photo, or this is a photo of food or product but now we don't see such an option. But few days back I saw this feature active again when I was working on one of my clients business profile. But again this feature is hidden some where. I am not able to find it. I thought you are sn expert of GBP so you can find it.

@@rankingacademy I even have a phone number support is mainly useless whats funny is now theres a different bug I have tried uploading 15 versions of a cover image with no filters with filters with text and a logo with no text and logo different sizes and none of them are approved. This is for a brand new gmb profile the other two I manage and are optimized work fine. So I dont know what theyre doing clearly there is a bot that scans your photos.
