This is a great visualization. I've used Ableton but how do you get the piano roll to line up with the audio so well? Can I read the article? Not sure if I'll understand it, but I'll give it a go.

I line up the audio with the grid by hand, it takes a long time! www.ableton.com/en/manual/audio-clips-tempo-and-warping/

would love to see a video about Tempo mapping. The last time I had to do it in Ableton, I had tempo changing over a certain duration with the Tempo automation using ramp shapes and envelopes etc. Not like what I see in Your video and in downloaded classical midi files. It seems more step like with the automation envelope. Changing tempo at the beat or bar etc, instead of smooth ramp like angled envelope slanting lines. What is a good way to program Rubato etc in a DAW ? Thank You :)
