Sooooo happy I found this video. I have family birthdays coming up in March, April, May, June, July and November. We always give money for birthdays and now I have another crafty way of doing it. Thank you very much for sharing. God Bless.
So cute. I love origami. You can also do shirt and pants which lay flat, great for gifts, retirement, vacation, new job, promotion, etc... Love watching you! 💕💕💕
I used to make fans and place them in a plant like flowers. But the Canadian money is no longer made from paper, it’s this awful plasticy stuff that does not lend itself to folding now. Love the heart idea. Thank you for sharing
I also make origami money butterflies in a vase of flowers for birthdays and special weddings, baby showers, etc. I do butterflies in mixed denominations so I can fit quite a few on. I attach the butterflies to the floral plastic clips they use to hold the floral to/from cards on. When doing butterflies I use a sparkly pipe cleaner in the center for the body and Antenna. Let me know if you would like to see a picture.
CUTE!! I am doing this for Valentine's Day, as my kiddos who live all over the country. However I think I'll put my "heart bill" on the inside of the card so that the outside doesn't get ruined...also it will be a bigger surprise when they open it up! Thanks Connie...fun and fabulous as always!! ps...SLOTHS SHIRT>>>!!!
What a great idea! We in Canada have plastic bills (which we all hate ) so I'm not sure how they will fold but I'm sure going to try it! Thanks Connie!
I learned this as a kid. I can't make a video but I did google making a dollar bill bow tie and several people have videos. It's very impressive when you do this. Best part, holding the the side edges of the bill, pull each end away from each other and it opens flat.
I think this is very clever although I would be afraid to send it through the mail being on the front of this card. It would certainly work if you were giving it directly to the recipient.
Love this idea, but when I tried it with our plastic Canadian bills, they won’t hold the fold. I was so looking forward to making some of these for a grandson’s birthday. ☹️
Very creative!! Thanks for sharing. Have a fantastic day.❤❤
You too. Thank you.
What a better way to give cash. I love it. Thank you, Connie.
What a gorgeous quilt!!! Sorry you are sick but at least you can be comfortable with your gift. Get well soon.

Geri Stuart Me too!!! 💕

Try crazy pc dude video. He folds it like I do, though I make sure the face is in the middle.
@@cathymiller4489 Thank you!
Please send that card my way! Thanks for another winner.
Aussie notes are plastic but your card is beautiful. Ruth down under.
I think this is very clever although I would be afraid to send it through the mail being on the front of this card. It would certainly work if you were giving it directly to the recipient.
Cass J , when I send money or a gift card I always put it in a mailer padded envelope to disguise it...haven’t had a problem yet!
That’s a great idea to put it in a mailer! Thanks for sharing!
Here in Australia we have plastic money so much harder to fold
Love this idea, but when I tried it with our plastic Canadian bills, they won’t hold the fold. I was so looking forward to making some of these for a grandson’s birthday. ☹️
Same problem with Australian, all our notes are plastic
This is cute, I don't think you can fold Canadian money like that.
I made these for my guy friends when I was in school 🤣😂
I sent you a picture to your Facebook messenger.
